The best advert any company can do is to make a quality phone, give support to it and people will do advertising for you. This is what Xiaomi did and they are successful in Asia.

There's something not right about this specs. I doubt MTK 6582 can be clocked at 1.7

So Tecno used 2013 chipset in 2016 and 10.35mm in a phone with 3000mAh WTF. This phone is just over bulky.

The MTK6582 is based on 28nm quad-core ARM Cortex A7 architecture and usually clocked at 1.3Ghz.

I have to disagree with you a little. The fact that you lost millions on it means that some others made millions on it. OANDO is one of the textbook examples for a JIJO (jump in jump out) stock- if it rises, it must come down, if it comes down, it must rise again.You must not invest money you need urgently on it so that if things goes south, you either quickly jump out and lick your wounds or just wait for it to rise back up. The good thing about oando and some other stock is that it is always very liquid. As a rule, I do not go near illiquid stocks. What is the point if I put for example 2M on a stock whose daily sales is usually not more that 200k? what happens if I need to jump out? Na my only stock dem go sell that day?
For medium term strategists, I think OANDO is a bad idea, but for the long term strategists, I think it is very undervalued. People in 5-10 years will not believe that this stock was just above 3 naira this year. I know most people here are JIJO strategists, but stocks like these are good for people with long throat who have a high risk appetite, but also patience if thing does not go well in the immediate-term. It also means you should have access to money you can afford to leave alone for some time.
Declaration of interest: I have got my fingers burnt big time on oando, but then I have also made good profits both real and imaginary. Bought massively at <4 and 5naira. Waiting to bail out soon and reenter.

OP. I have known this for a long time, and I have also discovered from experience that some charger manufacturers put ridiculous figures on their outputs. I have seen a charger of 1A that charges slower than a 750mA. Also I remember my. Tecno F7, it takes eternity to charge (Almst 7hours) even when I use a 2A charger for it. I just plug it at night, and wake up to see a full battery. I for no vex if the way e Tey the charge, n the same was e Tey dey discharge.
My question though, using a 2.1A charger for a phone that has its original charger as 850mA (usin BlackBerry Q10 for example), can it affect the battery life?
Also is there anyway I can alter the amount of voltage coming out from you USB ports of my laptop, laptop, just it charge my phone faster?

That's a curiosity I have been trying to satisfy for a long time.

Use same voltage recommended by phone maker. Some chipset can accept higher voltage while some will not.

Taking qualcomm quick charge 2.0 and 3.0 as an example, phones using chipset like Snapdragon 800 which uses quick charge 2.0, when you use quick charge 3.0 it will still give you the same output as 2.0.

Quick charge is hardware thing, if the hardware doesn't support upto that voltage, anything can happen to the device.
Remember, quick charge reduce battery life span.

As for PC, I don't really know if there's a way to increase the output.

Ensure you get a charger with same volts and ampere recommended by the phone maker, trying to use another charger with higher Volts and amp is the shortest way to damage your phone.

Quick charge also have to do with the phone chipset, just like Snapdragon 650 and 820 with fast charge 3.0, that's to say if you're like 3050mAh battery, you can get about 70% in 30 minutes charge using qualcomm recommended charger.

OP knows little about batteries and charger.


Be careful don't damage your phone.
