Nobodi Bada, Gunners be da baddest! |
Can't wait for the album, I just really hope it does not disappoint, like his music die! Haters please keep hateing! |
Loved it so much I built all the lions from paper, top tech design, measurements and everything, and I was only like 6 then, Made up my mind then that I was going to study electrical and computer engineering, so I can truly build one when i grew up. From days of long ago From unchattered regions of the universe Comes a legend, So beatiful memories. |
@meekas Damn! Why would you put the dudes number here, now the poor dude will have to change is number, |
Singles = one track Do tell me the last time you bought a single in Nigeria. |
How long as hip-hop mags been talking about bling and what rappers buy and sell, yes young_d, that is hip-hop. ps: have of rap today is about what they have and what they don't have, get with it. |
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Poor baby! Hope you do find love, you need it. |
I see you are taking my advice and looking for a girl, dont worry I put in a good word for your dollar face when I speak to her next. |
Shame! we don't sell a track in Nigeria, but you know the album is going to move off the shelves, @Jerry Stop calling my name, your Mama! What I don't get is how anyone can beef such a well structured and brilliantly delivered track. |
Jerry, find a girl, you are obviously fustrated. Wiskolo : http://www.naijapals.com/links/music/index/307 |
Fine, down to earth lady, love her. Do have her number? Although I heard she is Dating 2Baski. |
This for me is no surprise, let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of his second album, the most brilliant hiphop/rnb album of Nigeria's new generation. I was however shocked to find out that Nigerian acts don't perform live at their shows, case in point Rythme unplug in December. Unplug, as the name sujects is meant to be live, duurrr! Out of all the acts there, it was only Durella that sang live from begining to end, PSquare also mimed. The problem is the crowd still went crazy for them, as in regardless of the fact that they were just dancing along to their CDs. Fans outside Nigeria do expect more and rightfully so, if I want to listen to a cd I will stay at home. Now, what I don't get is Keke saying he his on its own, like he was surprised that he did that, like he hasn't done it before. |
Oh my God, this song is off the chain, can't wait to jam to it in the club, come on you Gooners!!!! Durella you 3 baski. |
Whatever but the best song ever Durella's Gunnerz Anthem |
@coolboyapg Yeah the album is dope, with instant classics like Move your body, a song with d minus lyrics on a techno beat, brilliant. And how can we forget the very original song Booty Call, whoa please where can I get the album I'll pay £10 for it. I love nairaland but damn! can we get some people with common sense on here? |
The Problem with this post is the same problem with Nigerian Church goers, you listen and forget all the other facts. How many J-zay's track as he proclaimed God, as far as him being God, he addressed that already, remmember " I am not quite God but I work damn hard", in kingdom come he even rebuked the Blastfirmers, I mean one dude trying to get publicity for himself is using hip-hop as a medium. What was his message, really! We have the power to think, please lets use it. |
that maybe why then, what interview was that? |
The is story is a lie, a well meaning lie to encourage this type of conversation, so on P-Square's path they have done well. They may sell a million copies eventually, but they didn't do it in 6days. remember that figure 75million naira. Yes, it is usefully to produce in one big batch, no doubt, but there comes to a point where quantity doesn't have a major effect on unit price anymore, e.g. the cost of producing 100k copies of an album will be identical if not the same per unit as the cost of producing 200k copies. hence, it will only be prudent to produce say 100k copies, sell that and then produce more. there is no marketer in our beloved country Nigeria, that will dip is his hands into his pocket and cough up 75million naira, striaght up. It doesn't just make any business sense to take such risk when its not needed. |
@Salvage Name calling? Just a note worthy observation. You are Igbo good, So tell me you will pay 75million naira to produce a million copies of album may or may not sell? The point is simply, you make a batch, sell it and if need be you make more. To sell a million in six days, is saying you had a million colpies in the first day. |
The problem on this post like many others is, the ability to use the internet doesn't mean one is sensible. It cost 75naira to make one cd, hence 1million copies with be, come on, say it with me 75million naira. So you are saying to me their marketer (igbo boy with sense) will take a gamble of 75million naira on an album that might not sell, hmmm! How I pray the average person had common sense, this world will just make a little more sense. |
E don tyre me ooh! Word is, his album as beeen ready since April, I wonder why they are holding it back. |
Beatiful girl. Not to sure about the video, thought some of the scenes could have been better, e.g where they selpt Barbara. What I did enjoy about the vid was Barbara's expression of herself, which came through in her change of clothes and general attitude, which I am not sure how much the director had to do with that but overall not a bad effort. |
