Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigeria Police Get Approval To Recruit More Personnel – Official by yousee(m): 9:02am On Aug 13, 2014
DonaldGenes: Hmmmmmmmmmph

Why Police or Nigerian armed Forces always recruiting but then Juicy Nigerian Agencies like NNPC, NSE, DPR, and NDDC will never recruit same as this Nig Armed forces, .I thought People in hundreds retire every six months..Why wait after 4 years to recruit a microscopic Privileged Individuals especially NNPC is fond of that.....

But that's by the way, I Think Giving people grants or loans to be self-employed is the best thing than sitting in the office, Carrying dusted files of 1940, Selling Okris, gossiping and taking pictures.. That's redundancy..

Jeezuzpick: Sucks to be bereaved right now......

But are all corpses in Nigeria Ebola corpses?

What of those who died before the outbreak and have been marinating
in the morgue waiting for their relatives' economy to improve? ( grin huh tongue)

This is a recipe for issues.
i wonder ooo.
but come to think of it, i think this issue of transporting corpses needs to be slowly checked, and stopped

PoliticsRe: Wives, Children Stop Military Trucks Conveying Soldiers To Fight Boko Haram by yousee(m): 9:56am On Aug 11, 2014
bushdoc9919: Hey...don't diss the AK. It's a gun that can operate in any weather and any climate ,and is very very effective......and cheap.

The main problem with the war in the NE is that the Boko boys are playing unorthodox. But thankfully, with the deployment of special forces to the area...they should be able to meet Boko at their game.
my reasons were based on the comparism of the arms the soldiers and BH use. you seriously cant compare the AA GPMG RPG with the AK47, especially their killing range. afterall, the .45 pistol is a wicked firearm, but no match for others.
PoliticsRe: Wives, Children Stop Military Trucks Conveying Soldiers To Fight Boko Haram by yousee(m): 5:58am On Aug 11, 2014
i have always been skeptical of this AK47, especially when i see our armed forces with just one extra magazine taped to the gun....
in my mind, im like "when bullet finish nko" and those BH never even start shooting...

CultureRe: Corporal Punishment: A Significant Part Of The African Tradition? by yousee(m): 9:12pm On Jul 31, 2014
texanomaly: This obviously worked for you. I do worry though that this type of punishment can be a two edged sword. As a teacher I weep for the children who refuse to read outside of the punishment they receive. I love reading. Growing up I found joy, adventure and knowledge in books. I weep for what is lost to the children who grow to hate reading because they see it as punishment.

As parents we need to be careful that the punishment does not undermine positive feedback.
I can understand your point. What really got me hooked were the stories and how it opened up my immagination. At first, i saw it as a punishment, but Achebe's "Arrow if God, No longer at ease, things fall apart, girls at war " and other African Writers bought me over

PoliticsRe: 10-year-old Female Suicide Bomber.. Made In Nigeria Suicide Bomber by yousee(m): 6:22am On Jul 31, 2014
it seems that most of the posters above me do not understand the point being raised by this unwholesome news.
BH has moved from using men, women and teenagers as suicide bombers.
they now use little girls!

FYI, these are not chibok girls. i even suspect the young lady, because she bears the same name with the poor girl.

Already, hijab covering women are suspects, now the stereotypes will add little muslim girls as bokoharam members!

Nigerian muslims will have a whole lot of convincing to do, especially to non-muslims
