I don't know of any whatsapp group. I'll advise you to relax. From the time of submission of eAPR to PPR ought to be six months maximum. You're still well within time.

Just use the time to plan your landing. It will surely end in praise.

SkyWalk12:
Good morning.

Please if anyone knows a good January AOR WhatsApp group, please let me know.

This wait is torturous

You clearly didnt understand what laminaria is saying.

sthillz:
Who says Canada is heaven on earth? I lived in the UK for almost a decade so I'm not new to immigration.

All countries have their problems. If Nigeria is OK, we won't be on this nairaland thread
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 5:53pm On Mar 29, 2018
sthillz...you were not there.
Forget what these people are saying.
Meanwhile, if there is a rule that says 'don't pass this road' Nigerians should be ready to obey.
Why should we disobey rules? It shows its not only the govt that has issues. We the people have issues too.
Like i said, when all of us reach Canada, we go learn.

Person need to join bad gang sometimes....lol
Seriously, its a one day thing...so the complaining is really unnecessary.
Afterall e don end sef.

Canadianfly:
Lmao. I was about to say Ysteph don join bad gang and will go for the jugular cheesy cheesy.

Anyway I just raised this issue now with my husband because Uncle Buhari was at Wuse 2 on Wednesday in Abuja and totally disorganized my plans that day. My husband agreed with your point of view and actually said, if Nigerians think the disruption to their plans for the day is annoying, how much more his security detail who have to protect one man in an open area in a country currently facing insurgency? I said to him, una don win jare. grin

Abegi go and sit down. Mr adjuster!
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 4:54pm On Mar 29, 2018
Thank you.

Leave Nigerians let them be complaining.
When they reach Canada them go learn sha.
Meanwhile, today is work free for Lagos State workers.

laminaria:
I think @ysteph is right.
Road closure happens everywhere, in 2014 during Brisbane Gsumit, Brisbane was shut down for a whole week.prior to that event, there are a lot of restriction of movements, everyone was forced to take a break. Obama was in Sydney last week and the same thing happened. Yes if France PM is going on a state tour or visit such is bound to occour , generally Nigerians are not just happy with their leaders.however, I think Gov could av made those days public holiday for state workers maybe that would reduce the rate of people on the road.
It is normal for such things to happen. I just think we do things without Puting other measures in place incase of emergency( fire, ambulance etc).
He’s the first citizen of the country, even Jesus rode on the donkey and He was given a first class treatment to Jerusalem.
Don’t ever assume Canada is heaven on earth, once u landed you see what people will never tells you or u never believe it exists both the good and the bad.

Is gonna end well for us all.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 3:35pm On Mar 29, 2018
Sometimes i think we complain too much about this our govt.
As soon as we heard of the activities of the President in Lagos today
and the restrictions on some road, i expect that we will adjust our activities to suit it.
I have been on the island since morning and i have no issues with the traffic.
Everything has to do with planning.

Let's allow this out govt to breath. Afterall our numerous criticisms, swear and curses hasn't changed anything.

sthillz:
It's really pathetic

I had a work appointment in VI but couldn't go because the roads are blocked. I'm officially sick of Nigeria

The government really do not care about its people. They are all there to benefit themselves only

TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 9:51pm On Mar 28, 2018
Issokay.

happytbaby:
It is not an assumption it is a question. Most avenues into Lagos start from Mainland with the exception of the Epe route...you get my reasoning?

I (personally) would not want to stay at Eko Hotel when I want to cut cost. Let him just answer the question. However, it simply did not occur to me that Eko Hotel is an accomodation, all I was thinking was "somebody is dropping him off at that roundabout because that is where all the commerical vehicles plying most routes are"

Sometimes what we are asking for may not be exactly what we need. It happens to me all the time. This is why I often ask "what exactly are you trying to acheive" instead of just answering the question asked.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 8:55pm On Mar 28, 2018
She's staying at Eko Hotels and need directions to the address? Why you feel say she's coming from the mainland?

happytbaby:
@ Guitarlife: if I may ask, why Eko Hotel? Are you going to be set out from Lekki or something? Issue is that if you are coming from the Mainland, getting to Eko Hotel first is like passing your destination and then going backwards.

If you have extra cash, please use another evaluation body.

subzero007:
My wife just had her RN and Midwifery evaluated by WES, meanwhile within her evaluation they requested see send her WAEC result. At the end of the evaluation, the Canadian Equivalence summary they gave her is Canadian Diploma, ignoring to reflect her RN and Midwifery in the summary. Please what is the implication of this?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 10:36am On Mar 28, 2018
I have read a lot of things about WES recently.
The one that caught my attention is the supposed inadequate evaluation of certain degrees.
I'll advise people here to use other Evaluation Bodies. WES is just one of the lot.

I wonder what is attracting so many people to WES.
