You have come o....lol
I agree with your post though.

Canadianfly:
My candid advice to the newbies joining this thread and asking questions, please READ PAGE ZERO of this thread. Some come and say they've been reading, and yet ask questions that clearly shows the person just heard about Canada as a country. Page 370 to 373 is a bunch of newbies asking questions and fellow newbies responding incorrectly. A case of blind people leading each other. Please guys, you need to research this thing you want to get into well!!!! Asking question like how do I register and pay for IELTS is a sign that you don't even know what is ahead. Because you get instructions that are clear on how to pay, yet that task alone is still difficult.
Research research research! Don't rely on anyone to answer your question as they may be unconsciously giving you wrong information. Good luck to y'all

With a high score in IELTS.
Your CRS will increase.

Again, read about Provincial Nominee Program.
Don't be discouraged.

Folks,

I have a testimony, we have passed our medicals, even though the CIC doc told us clearly, you would most likely be asked for further tests for your daughter. we give glory to God that is not happening. I dont know how God did it but he did it anyway. The good glitch that happened also moved our application into the IP2 gang.

Let me borrow the most popular phrase in here; It will end in praise!

Morning people. I'm on Post-ITA but yet to submit my application (71 days left to submit my application). My wife gave birth two days ago here in the UK and I hope to apply for passport after naming.

As it is not quite easy to get Nigeria passport here in the UK, is it possible to submit my application using maybe birth certificate number or passport application reference number in place of passport number and put a LOE explaining why I used that. Hoping that passport should be out before PPR.

Also, a friend helped me to get my Nigeria PCC and he scanned it to me as JPEG file. Can I print out the PCC and then scan alongside my UK PCC to put in the PCC placeholder ?

Your input will be appreciated.

Good day Eilenora,

I'll advise that you read the IRCC website on Proof of Funds and what is acceptable.
Meanwhile, all the answer given to you here are correct. But i need you to understand why the answers are so.

It will make things easier for you when you understand the wordings on the IRCC website.

Best of Luck.

@LausDeo

Please go to WES website. The answer is there.
An information as vital as what you're seeking should be gotten from the WEBSITE.

Asking this question shows you're not aware of the process. This forum is to clear ambiguity you may encounter after reading from the source.

No staff of WES is here. Take Note also that no staff of IRCC is here too. So you know.

It's possible but i am not sure of the procedure.
Maybe you should find out from lawyers who handle Family Law cases.

You can send me a PM

@TwentySeven:

If you have a legal document to evidence the separation. Then you fill separated.

If you don't have such documents, then you fill married but with spouse unaccompanying. In this case, you'll need his medicals, PCC and proof of funds to include him.
You will also need a letter of authorisation if kids are invloved.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 8:05pm On Feb 24, 2018
If you read the last three or four pages. You'll see someone talked about AAT and WES etc.

Also use the search thread.
I have no idea about it I would have helped.

Best of luck.

BTW congrats on your solid IELTS result.

Canadian fly you too?

Asses?

quote author=Canadianfly post=65331115]

Y'all are some sensitive bunch. Abeg leave DICKtator alone. Dude spoke the truth. That was an epic post hahahaha cheesy

The truth is bitter, but most Nigerians write very poorly. Using the wrong spellings and words. Example of the common mistakes people make in their writing are:

Choose vs. chose - folks don't know which one is present or past.

I'm vs. Am - Nigerians love to write Am instead of I'm. That na epic fail

Advise vs. Advice - one is a verb the other na noun.

Asses vs. Access - well this one depends on your dialect and H factor-ness grin

The list goes on. Truth is, once you miss the correct spellings and use of words at primary school level, good luck tryna gain it back in life. Also for those of una wey dey plan go back to school when you reach Canada, just know that North American education is highly dependent on writing papers. Them no be like Naija and Britain wey dey give exam every time. You can be asked to submit a paper every week in Canada, and if you dey write all these yeye words, na serious F you go dey get. There's no sorting lecturer or sleeping with professor either grin
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 1:52pm On Feb 23, 2018
My advice to you is re write IELTS exam and aim for an 8 in L and 7 in S.
Your husband's score is good for a dependent.

Stay in the pool with your 415 while you rewrite.
If you ask for a remark, the possibility of your Listening score increasing is slim.

My scores:

L 7.5
R 8.0
W 6.5
S 8.5

HUBBY'S SCORES:

L: 7.0
R: 6.5
W: 7.0
S: 8.5

scores right now with these results: 415, with me being principal applicant. with Hubby being the applicant its 401.

I have read that usually remarks are not more than .5 marks higher right. So if I request for a re-mark, and my scores change to 7 in writing, our score increases to 422, using hubby's current result.

I am thinking that I ask for a remark while hubby takes the exam again, so he scores higher, while my writing is hopefully bumped to 7. invariably, we score a much higher mark. The other alternative is for both of us to re-write the exam. Another fear is what if they mark downwards instead of upwards as I am hoping? Does that ever happen?

I have also read that during the period of remark which is about 8weeks, you are not allowed to use the results. this means that we cant even get into the pool till the remarking is completed. any chances of d draws dropping to 415 in 2 months? Apparently last year it dropped to 413-415 around May...

What do you guys think? Trying to weigh all my options
Family of 3

Visa Office: Ottawa

Some highlights of my application includes;
1. My POF = T-Bills(3months) + Generic Bank Ref Letter + 6months SOA + Gift of deed (100% amount from direct family). My total POF is in the T-Bills, explained this in my LOE.
2. Proof of employment = Reference letter (included NYSC experience) + Pay stubs.
3. There was a mistake in my spouse's name on our daughter's birthday cerficate, so I attached an affidavit (confirmation of name) together with the document to clarify this. Also explained this in my LOE.
4. Educational documents= Degree certificates + WES. I didn't include IELTS certificate although I registered the certificate number somewhere else in my application.
5. My spouse hasn't officially changed her name so I submitted our application with her maiden name. Our marriage certificate was enough proof I guess.
6. Passport photos = We took our final printed photos (50x70mm) from "Study 24" ahead of time. I scanned and resized it to the required specification (35x45mm) (using MS software) and used it for Post ITA submission.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head and I hope it helps.
Thanks to everyone that has ever communicated on this thread (names too numerous to list), it was very helpful!
For those still hoping for better IELTS scores, please try again and give it all you have this time.
For those still expecting the silver mail, please be very hopeful. Try to improve your CRS, while in the pool if you need to.
For those still anticipating towards receiving the golden mail, it will certainly come!
I'm wishing everyone here the very best and remember it will end in praise!

Search this thread or part 2. Someone has shared a letter from mutual funds used for POF

DadR post=65229223]OK, but a mutual fund reference letter wouldn't have 6 months average balance.

Please, can someone who has used mutual fund as POF share a sample of the letter submitted to IRCC?

Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 3:58pm On Feb 20, 2018
Yes. The letter must be in IRCC format as stated in the website. The website said financial institution. It must not be bank only.

Non Bank Financial Institution (i.e. ARM Investment Limited) that manages Mutual Funds. I believe the letter they would issue would have the wordings of a regular bank reference letter and also also the date account was opened and amount of funds one has therein. This is fine right?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by ysteph: 3:24pm On Feb 20, 2018
Bank reference letter should be used o irrespective of fixed deposit certificate. Statement of account is not necessary.

Just wana be sure that an SOA and BR aren't compulsory if one is submitting POF using fixed deposit or mutual fund.
