FamilyRe: Marrying And Taking Her Abroad; A Regret? by yunqdady: 11:58am On Mar 28, 2022
sisisioge:
Too much talk about this....why are you particularly scared of marrying a woman in a liberated world or taking a woman from here to a liberated world? People who are reasonable on both sides shouldnt be scared of anything...just be good people and find yourselves good people....EOD.
Good people usually end up with bad people.
Good girls end up with bad boys
Good men end up with bad women.

Your brother went to Phillipines and now own 2 buildings in Ikoyi within 13 months, haba! Your brother is likely doing a shady business - and is probably into hard drugs. That's nothing to be proud of!

FamilyRe: My Wife Records Our Argument by yunqdady: 10:45pm On Mar 26, 2022
Ogalanyaidi:
First I want peace in my home and I've been enjoying relative peace in my home.

I've been married for less than a year. I called my wife to discuss how we could keep the house clean and I went on to tell her that she puts things where they shouldn't be. She got upset and called her mum, she was crying while speaking with her mum over the phone.

Her mom called and we both made peace I discovered that she was recording our argument but I chose not to confront her there and then.

A day later, I asked why she was recording me and she lied but I gave her facts and she agreed. She said if I've nothing to fear why am I being upset about it. She said I should record her too cus she observed that when we speak to her mum after an incident I don't say the whole truth.

We both live overseas and she is the only person I've here.

I want peace in my home and I don't like trouble
Are you really saying the truth?

This is your opinion...Have you considered why most agencies prefer Filipinos to Africans, please don't argue this point. Just recently they established an Nclex centre in Africa claiming they are ignorant of African Nurses traveling to another continent for the exam. Asia has 2+ Nclex centres even in India that retrogression is nothing to write home about. This people knows what they are doing. Ask yourself this question, Why is the Nclex centre not in Ghana or Nigeria. I am 100% sure that once a nurse graduates in Nigeria, as they are taking their Nigeria lincensure, they will be pursuing U.S own if the center is here.

This will cause an influx of blacks in U.S. Furthermore, how many blacks compared to Filipino nurses do you see featured by these agencies. Even if you choose to ignore the facts and reality by your opinion, no prob, but you better shine your eyes. All you see is not really the way it seems.
Someone hit the nail on the head.
Racist bunch.
Systematic racism is deep. All those diversity mantra are merely performative.
FamilyRe: My Son's Behavior Is Getting Out Of Hand by yunqdady: 1:41pm On Mar 26, 2022
Mercychen:
Carry am come Nigeria, beat craze commot for him body. Children easily get spoilt in that abroad because you're not allowed to mete out some corrective measures our parents used on us those days that really helped shaped many of us.

Now, your mom told you he took after you. I'm sure she didn't just fold her arms and watch you. She must have corrected your behavior with some brain resetting slaps.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh but what some children need is iron hand.

By the way, why does your wife not want you to take him for the ADHD test?
Take them for the test to clear any possibility of it so you can bring him to naija and change his character with some strict measures.

Spare the rod and spoil the child.
You are not making sense

They are six and five and my wife hardly allows them. I have instructed them to drop their plates in the kitchen whenever they finish eating rather than keeping it and waiting for Nany. My daughter always try to do her bit in cleaning but my son, very unconcern. Only to cross leg and be watching meeky mouse. I am trying to be tougher these days and they could see it in me
You would be glad you did.
Be careful, do it gradually.
One, it boost their confidence and self esteem.
Let them do house chores. Let them interact with the environment. Don't be too hard, do it lovingly and gradually.

I need advice from nairalanders. I am second class upper university graduate from reputable federal university in Nigeria. I have 8 years working experience as sales representative in food and beverage industry. For about a year now, I have been jobless and broke. I just got a 65,000 naira salary job as a security guard in a large palm oil processing company. The job comes with free accommodation and free transport.

Will you advice me to take the security guard job as I am to resume this wednesday. I feel security guard is below my worth and am not happy with it.
Dont accept. A graduate deserves more. Go back to being broke and jobless. Foolish man
