The best bet is to check the school's website for the documents. It'll be there.
Cheers!

You can use any.
Public is more expensive than private when you are 30.

Yes,
You can switch school, but make sure to carry the immigration/city office along when you are leaving your current school.
pheshbio:
Hello room,
I'm not sure I am in the right room, but my question goes forth.
I just got to germany and I want to find out if it is possible to switch school. The one I applied to and got admitted to doesn't meet the requirement of what I am hoping in terms of certification.

German Universities do not have any specific requirements as such. There are a few points on which special emphasis is usually given for initial screening:

The reputation of your University/Institutes: This point is very important for the initial shortlisting of your application. It doesn’t mean that your University has to be in the top half of the rankings. The selection coordinator would usually open the website of the institutes mentioned in your CV and look at what the University has been doing. In some cases, they might also check for accreditation (specially for people from unpopular Uni in Nigeria, to give these people a fair chance).

Your academic records: This has always been stressed. Your academic credentials are very important for getting admission to university in German. However, the accepted grades vary among schools. For an effective application, make findings.

International outlook in research and innovation: Your cover letter or the tabulated CV should emphasize your research interest (e.g your B.Sc Thesis)
this gives the committee a good idea about your outlook. The fields you have worked in and areas you want to specialize in. If you have to cook it up, cook it.

They basically check if you will be able to amalgamate well with the course structure in the chosen programme.

Laminated copies of documents usually can't pass the neon/argon security check. If there's a way you can safely remove the plastic, please do so that you won't shoot yourself in the leg from back.

TravelRe: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by yusuftosin: 1:02pm On Feb 11, 2020
If you have admission to RWTH Aachen. Netherlands is issuing Visa to RWTH students (as far as I know and know someone who got).
I don't know about the possibility of being able to work in Germany with it though. I wish all of us a higher success this year.

Bros, me dey do quiz and tests every week na.
Na your institutes you go fit talk about. lol

Lmao! no dey scare ppl joor grin grin grin grin
Goztino:
Depending on your school.
Germany has two types of tertiary institutions.
1. University of Applied sciences (Fachhochschule)
2. Technical universities.

University of Applied sciences is more of practical while Technical universities is more of research but also have incorporated practicals depending on the course.
I am a student of RWTH Aachen University (technical university) and here it's really tough.
There is nothing like continous assessment in most German technical universities or even quiz or test as you may call it. They just tell you what to do and when you do it within the specified period, they grade your performance over 100%.

Some exams are just presentation and report writing, and you already know before now that Germans are generally not easy to please because here quality is a watch word and you must really do quality things to earn quality marks.
I have almost 30 courses to do throughout the duration of my MSc program and in all these courses, it's just 11 written exams.
All others are presentations, Practicals and report writing

Honestly, na we dey do ourselves.

What do you need AD for when you've not secured an admission yet.
We make this whole things more difficult with embassy bringing up more stringent rules for other Nigerians.

odimbannamdi:
When i say the root cause of this AD wahala is inefficiency on the part of the embassy, and not necessarily a preference for whatever category, people will begin to dispute.

This brother is yet to get AL, but he went on to book for AD on the 21st of December and he was really given a date, and if care is not taken, the "precious" date could be lost.

Until the embassy enforces a system whereby applicants upload AL and even BA proof (this will do absolute justice this menace), we will keep being embroiled in this AD imbroglio.

Hello guys, good day.

What are my options?

I'm an Electrical Electronics Engineering Graduate with a 3.3/5.0 CGPA(Second Class Lower) and I'd love to study in a European/Scandinavian tuition free country. Any low tuition/tuition-free country is nice.

Can you please educate me on my options.
Thanks
There's a thread for this where you'll get firsthand information and enquiries. All the best to you

Hadampson:
€1000 is too much. I know what am saying.

Some people hustled out the substantial amount required for BA and now, they need to get €1000 which is about 400,000 plus.. The hustle is real sis. You sef sabi wetin i dey talk

I'm not arguing with you sister. Just saying the fact. You are right as well but can you suggest cities that won't require €1000
It should not be a matter of which is too much or too low, but I think It's always better to come with enough money that will be enough to be psychologically settled before your account is unblocked.
€400 may be enough if you have already settled accommodation and you're coming with food stuffs. Then you only need to buy minor stuffs and still have money to cater for urgent needs.
In my own case, I settled my accommodation from home and I only held €250. At the point of entry into Germany, I have only €160 on me (.. Lol). So, I became very careful of my spending, I still exhausted the €160 in a week (had to get some stuffs).

However, if you haven't settled accommodation from home, 1k€ is not much to hold. Anything can happen!

P. S.: If you don't have up to that, you won't die grin

Hello y'all,

For the sake of incoming students, please endeavor to check all admission and enrollment requirements of the schools /courses you're applying for and prepare very well towards it. I met a guy today who didn't know that our school requires IELTS/TOEFL for enrollment. This is very important please.

Federal Marriage Registry is better and will save you a lot of headache. People use Local Government Marriage Certificate too, but be aware that Federal Government of Nigeria has nullified such certificates in supreme court recently.
