VO, ask..Why Bsc and not post graduate? This is majorly because of my career goals to become a qualified(professional) chemical analyst, ............................
You'll be better off using academic reasons like imperiouxx noted. You will may not get enough time to say that you mentioned above. Re-write and keep it short, maybe 2-3 concise sentences. *Muchas Gracias |
You guys are mean oh!!! 'Gym' iyke...please don't do this to the rest of your fam. |
Yea .. We've taken this thread across the border. Sorry Y'all. |
imperiouxx: You're the fourth to say that. Two black Americans, one white old woman and you. I babysit him too much that I didn't collect security deposit from him even with that I will pay the whole before due date and waiting for his a/s/s. The day I said the reward for goodness is nice slap, I know all that formed my decision.Reading this is pissing me off! WHAT Where did you find this mo-fo?Anyways, we"ll talk. imperiouxx: You've been there before?Yea, several times. I'm not a fan of beaches, but I love to see new places, take pictures (you already know) and do touristy stuff. Mexican history is architecturally interesting. My dream destinations are Singapore and maybe Australia. ![]() |
imperiouxx: Hmmmm, I wan do xmas outside too o! Tantalize me softly mamacita. Mamacita007: I've enjoyed enough Xmas in 9ja. one time away is not bad. lolSee my darlings ..... hehe! Let's visit Mexico. Cheap vacation and very touristy too! Let's run across the Tex-Mex border. |
imperiouxx: Yea, the brainless dogs. This boy dey piss me off too much, if he starts with the washing machine...it's like the machine should pack that day and he pays rent and bills late.I confess this got me cracking up big time. You've become the 'Great Provider', 'Father to the lazy' ...Hope you've got a written contractual agreement so he can't turn on you should anything happen. Don't be too nice to 'these people'. Real talk! |
imperiouxx: Yea, the brainless dogs. This boy dey piss me off too much, if he starts with the washing machine...it's like the machine should pack that day and he pays rent and bills late. He is also rough, saying he is from hood in Louisiana. The beg too much last wed and his mama wants me to come with him to LO....lol. Still going to kick him when he's back. You new guys shouldn't give rooms to Americans especially my niggas!https://serve.mysmiley.net/happy/happy0203.gifI'm not in the mood to laugh too much this evening. When I start, I don't stop. Why didn't you get an apartment with all utilities covered. Is it just you guys only? My cheap a$$ rented a 4x2 apartment in my final year so I had to share a bathroom which I despise, but it was hella cheap with all utilities covered (very important). When people come over to my place, they're shocked at how gross the apartment is with pets running everywhere. My roommates wash their socks and sneakers in the washer. Can you imagine? Cuture shock: I saw one of my roommates washing color off her hair on one side of the kitchen sink while I was blending tomatoes close to the sink. MY HEAD SPARKED!!!!!! .. Its no longer a big deal anyways.. My dear, change roommates or apartment. You need to mingle/network with the right people not losers that cannot offer any sort of upward mobility in any aspect of your life. From weed they become crackheads! Tsk |
imperiouxx: First of all, Yvete did I see you editing what I wanted to quote to lips sealed? Abeg no dey try that o.I'm sorry I had to delete everything. Ronald2g1 got the message though. My bad! Where do you get these evil smileys? Especially the last ones with 2 evil guys poking at each other and hitting their heads? Oh my! Want to kick a roomie out? Most a*'k**ta are usually a handful and cau***ians are very very dirrty! Like I told u about my old roomie with the puppy heehee! One of my friend's a***ta roomie throw out her stockfish, crayfish and basically most of her Nigerian grocery because it was 'smelly' and she thought stockfish is rotten fish. hehe! |
Typical me would respond, but I choose not to or else Justwise would need Jesus to handle this wisely between us. New status: If you expect me to pacify you or blow red kisses Relevant comments now replaced with . |

I try to avoid comments that begets another response and then, its prolonged, dragged on, etc, but I'll say something anyways. My entire family, except my parents live in the US (arguably the most popular enclave outside Nigeria). Last year, a male friend went to Nigeria to look for a wife in Medical school. She came over Nov' 11 and its been rough for them. He mentioned that he will not file for her GC until she bears one child at least, for fear that she will dump him after getting her papers. Why did you go to Nigeria to import a wife you barely know? That's one example. Sep '12, my immediate senior brother went to Nigeria to marry. *no comment* The list goes on and on. Not that Nigerian women don't have issues. Most of us do. I must confess that the extent of respect expected from women in Nigeria may not be the same as those of us based here because we are used to being somewhat independent and that could cause a whole lot of disrespect. A friend told me that on arrival to the US, it shocked him to see his sister's husband frying plantains in the kitchen. Something that may not be a big deal to anyone leaving here. My fiance is in the US and he has to understand/compromise while I pay attention to 'RESPECT and not crossing the line". I was young; barely 20years old when I came over so I can speak about Nigeria comfortably. My own pastors wife dumped him when she starting making money as a BSN. He announced how he brought her from Nigeria, trained her and she used him. ... emmm Man of God, are you too blessed to be educated? I repeat that SOME Nigerian men are LAZY AS F.uvk! Get a degree, get a job and then train your wife. They marry money making machines from Nigeria and its got to stop. I would also agree that Nigerian women can be vain and materialistic which can drag a man to hell faster than he ever imagined. My issue with your previous comment is that just because your uncle married a dumba$$, does not mean a lot of Nigerian women in the US are dumba$$es. |

kpolli: Uncle, Farabale ooooo Everyone knows that. Congrats Bro....Sorry Bro and you know its true. |
Oh wow... Thnks! Can I work as an intern in any state? I was thinkn of goin to law skl after my undergrad..... But I still don't knw my chances of gettn a sponsor after law school.wht do u think?
Yea you can, but prepare because they might NOT give you a dime. Just like my friend with a US BA Accounting and MBA went to Disney, Florida to intern for 6 months and got back hella broke! She moved back to Naija this year anyways. Corporate law is better. I know a few Attorneys working here in O&G. Get a very solid undergrad degree to get easy sponsorship while you pursue your Masters as well. Most times, Big Corps sponsor your Masters especially if its related to your current job. |
