May God forgive her for she didn't do this intentionally. I heard of a couple that left their baby in the back seat of their car and the baby .... there. We're so IMPERFECT. God help us. |
loool @ ATM machines 'seizing' cards. Funny comments here. |
fadinus: yvete u will pay a fine for using my color olol FADINUS FADINUS FADINUS u wanna 'derail' their thread again?? ![]() |
Who returns pictures of an Ex? I just delete every single pix or tear and trash! Also, if there's a new person in your life, its rude to keep memories of another person with you. This should be a warning to those of you that publish every single picture of New-half baked relationships on social media. Don't share pictures until your relationship is solid enough for marriage (that's my policy anyways) |
awwww... this brings tears to my eyes. Hope you take care of whatever breed you get. My fam had a white golden retriever for years in Nigeria. Last year my uncle told us that it was raining and they forgot the dog outside. They woke up in the morning and it disappeared. All conflicting stories about this beautiful dog running outside a gated house. The dog was named Major, by the way. |
jidegirl12: All Nigerians both on home soil or Abroad, Is it necessary to call your coworkers ( Nigerian ) aunty or bros if you meet them at work especially when it's obvious they are older than you especially when you are in a higher position .How do you address them? Pls share your views and opinions . Thank youNo. Office relations should be done professionally. I still address Nigerian/Non-Nigerian co-workers as Mrs or Mr before their names. I work with a much older Nigerian man (old enough to be my father) and address him as Mr. Ernest, Mrs Chinwe and I always greet them Nigerian way i.e Good Morning, afternoon looool |
Looool ... Wow! So much bitterness because of yesterday. Interesting that people have forgotten that at some point, we've all had conversations that do not relate to students' visa. On a final note, now that mamacita has left this thread, there's no woman to fight or fight for. Enjoy your thread, knock on peoples doors to come post their interviews and if they don't, sit quietly and wait. SMH ................. @ Odowetalu: You can take pre-reqs for Pet. Eng at a CC. For a bachelors degree in the State of Texas, all Freshman and Sophmores take the same classes at any College till your Junor year when you start specific degree related courses. I took the same classes at HCC as someone going for Chem. Eng, for instance. Keep your CC admission and apply to UH. When you get here, transfer your 1-20 back to the CC. |

akumarism: . I communicate with my pple in English if she's around except for those ones that can't speak english fluently and on those rare occassions I always make sure I carry her along by avoiding those words she might not understand. I'm not saying she should abandon her mother tongue but she should put me into consideration when doing this, this is a woman I've sacrificed a lot for including relocating and my career just to make her happy. The worst of all is that I've stop visiting her family whom we stay together in the same city simply because they use to communicate in this language when visiting them. Imagine communicating in ebira language for about 90% of time spent with them.awwww .. don't count the sacrifices. Maybe you can sarcastically throw your concerns in the open next time you're around her fam. If that's how they are in the family, just deal with it, sorry. |
Vikin: The OP should sort himself out, this argument will continue as we don't really know the full story.Yea, you right! Don't you think that its also disrespectful for the woman to continue speaking Ebira when it makes her man uncomfortable? I've got issues with people that do that around me. When you're with a group of people for instance, courtesy demands that you respect others and make 'em feel comfortable, IMO. |
webstradamus: Verily, verily I say unto you once again, online (and that includes Nairaland) anonymity is only an illusion! Trust me, it does not existAiight Sir! But I still insist though. I didn't link twitter, facebook (my obsession) or my real email. Looool |
geodarmy: From ...... to you right No one sent me any songs. The Mis-ed is an All time fav. My feel good album.Nice chatting with you and Kpolli tonight. Had a good laugh. Now you need to stop being a bad 'boy' with these questions. Some people are already bitter for 'gisting' on this thread. Lets talk visa visa visa. (comment edited) |
chaircover: That is the problem. Its not for anyone to say what is acceptable in another mans/womans marriage. Who knows, the guy may be comfortable with his wife doing something that you will divorce your own wife for. Each marriage is unique.Yups! |
webstradamus: Don't be so sure about that ... online anonymity is only an illusion. There's no privacy on the internet! Yea, but I'm pretty sure about that when it comes to nairaland.Mamacita007: goodnight kpolli and geodarmy. yvete pls dont reply if he replies me again. plssss ignore and let peace reign. thnx kpolli dats nice of uI PROMISE to be of excellent behavior! Status: Chilling with ♫ ♬ The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill ♫ ♬ on replay. |
geodarmy: Let Yvette come out and deny it. Then, I will know my background check result is incorrect......You're not so sure... Nobody knows the real me on this thread. |
geodarmy: Just like Edyy Murphy??Oops! Bare your mind to kpolli. You guys seem alike. @ kpolli he didn't say that its about us. Maybe he's got other 'interests' that placed him in this state. |
geodarmy:You're such a joker! ![]() |

moroh: Yes ooo...we all saw the Rolls-Royce she was trying to sell..lolzTeehehee |
asala1: If it is plane crash, everybody will be shouting. Is the FG investigating the cause of these crashes? Or will they ground all the commercial transport companies involve in these crashes? Will their families be compensated?omg!! I just had to echo this comment. Very pathetic situation! |
Too too sad! Rest in peace. Life is a gift from God. Lets hope for better days. |

akumarism: I 'm a Yoruba man married to an ebira lady, our marriage has being blessed with a kid. In recent times, I discovered that she prefers communicating on phone with her family member in her local language when these people can speak and understand yoruba and english language well and knownfully well that I don't understand ebira. Each time this happens, I always feel insecured and I've sat her down and discuss this with her on several occassions but she refuse to change. Firstly,I want to know, is this feeling of mine normal and if not, kindly advise on next line of action. Thank you.awww ... I may feel the same way if I was in your shoes. The key to a successful union is communication. Let her know how you feel in a nice way and I think she'll listen, but if she's adamant, let her be. There's nothing to fear if you trust her. USE THE PILLOW TALK METHOD to tell her how you feel Tone, countenance, diction and timing are important when it comes to marital communication. |
I'm favored and fortunate to come through them. My Dad is a great man and mum is so so sweet and kind-hearted. |
kpolli: This is the Yvete I knowDang right! ![]() |
Running after men? Interesting with all the excuses you give about your brother, its easy to see through your fakeness. Homegirl is not broke. You can't even compare. Mamacita007: kpollliii im tired of this thread.he said bad things to me for no reason.wat did i do to him?Nothing valuable stays in a trash can. You trash and move on... ![]() |
ferdimako: Stop telling us to pamper ur grown-assss. My ultimate goal is to get an in-depth practical knowledge of my major, if I don't get to work there I will come back to set up one, instead of roaming the streets, running and hiding from police or marrying for papers. I will welcome their citizenship if they offer me.Yeah right, BS! Even if she was indecisive, your old behind does not qualify you to advice anyone. Still trying to get through a bachelors while your desperate azz roams all over nairaland looking for cheap schools. Have a seat! You have an archaic understanding of US and walls outside Nigeria, obviously. Need I say more? With all the fraudulent messages I get from losers on this thread, its easy to know your type. Next time stay out of her business. |
. |
I have seen ur type before u are not the first and wont be the last. people like u are the ones dat end up marrying crack head to get papers and if u are so comfortable were u are, i dont see a need coming here in the first place to study if u are not planning to excape too like u jugde other people happy new years guys in da house...
Chi-town got me laughing hard this morning. A very BAD laugh for that matter. |
