@all, it is true that the Igbo nation has contributed immensely to the Economy of Nigeria. But it is not a yard stick to say without dem the nation is no where, I totally disagree and to put the figure mention in one of the post is statistically wrong and manipulative. If they (Igbos) hold so much Economical powers, yet we don't see an Igbo man in the list of the richest men in Nigeria talk of Africa. And for no political reason is an Igbo man a messiah to Nigeria, when even in their own land their political structure dwindles on financial status. The Igbos even given the open chance to bring forth a presidential candidate to represent them will breakout war, take from jus the tussle of who is the pioneer of APGA, the Anambra saga take Alex Ekweme and the late Udumegwu Ojukwu they neva see eye to eye. And u Igbos Boarst of being a messiah If the Igbos are so wise and Economically viable how come they run from there lands and also why is there region so underdeveloped? Need I say this the Igbos are arrogant by nature, they are disrespectful to themselves to the point of the smallest unit of a group wch is the family. So hw can u say they r humble, it is b'cos of that arrogance and cheating that made the gov't of Lagos state to take such an action on the Igbos in lagos state. The Benue state gov.Gabriel Suswame is only living in the euphorial of wat we call "SWEET MOUTH" I WONDER! When he became an economic analyst in Nigeria. |
@ all, it is a welcome response to everyone of us dat has contributed to this thread. Really, #34 is a large amount considering wat it can do for its owner in times of need. Like one person said the customer care agent is monitored on all calls by a QA officer (quality assurance) so I believe if the affected person calls 180 to register his displeasure hw he was handled. Something will surely be done to dat CCA. Every CCA has been trained to handle every caller be it passive, assertive or Aggressive customer. You must show empathy and can do attitude towards ur customer, so no matter hw aggressive a customer gets it is the CCA's duty to calm the customer and provide solutions. |
@ Kellyman, I truely appreciate Etisalats effort towards meeting subscribers queries and enquiries.but my brother my enquiry needs urgent attention, how can I get my C.V accross to u guys for the call centre Executive position in ur call centre. I have been trying, but was told I nid an insider. Can u please help a brother in need? Please, would appreciate a quick response oga Kellyman! Thank you. |
I smell a rat, am sure he is going back to clean the path of money he stole while in govt thru the first bank. Kipping an eye on things u wld say. ![]() |
A state like Kano does not nid the Igbos to invest in such project, ask most of them the Igbos who reside in kano they will neva give up kano for anything. Many hv been prosperous beyond their lands, dat they do not even have a piece of land in the east. If kano was that worst putting into consideration hw wise they say an Igbo man is, then they must be foolish still living in kano. Even in America with all the security agencies and technology bombings take place, but it doesn't stop their development. Incase, many of us don't knw kano is a state like lagos dat can stand on its own without Federal gov't subvention. Single handedly I do not see those projects as gigantic or financially lofty that kanolites can't handle, dey don't need the Igbos or any other tribe for dat matter to achieve that plan. Like the popular saying abt kano goes " there is nuftin on earth that money can buy and u can't get it from a kanolite". So we shld be more positive and constructive in our arguement! |
@Teeo, the government in those state u mentioned are dey block headed? So b'cos of BH, people shld not develop their states Again.I hear u, as if it is every building in the north dey attack. Even terrorist in the middle east hv targets, abi no be worship centres BH dey attack the most. Teeo, if ur governor likes let him not make an initiative for development, dat shld be u pples problem. People like u judge the North and u hvn't even been there before. |
Nando's eviction was a good one for BBA and Africa as a whole, B4 he turns a reality show into a horrow movie,hw can a young man of his age threatening a fellow housemate for jus no good reason.it goes out to show us that growing our kids in the US is bad,he did the same thing wen he had a disagreement with Sulu and this is the second time he is hiding weapons. As long as he kips saying it, he will surely be motivated to do it by implus. The next on the line is dat Oneal the West African hater from Botswana, who knws Botswana on the African map sef. A so called DJ dat doesnot appreciate west african songs, I wonder wen he plays the kind of music he plays. Jus feel sowie for his gal Feza the tufaced lady always hating for no reason. Eviction is there medicine come this week. |
@shynoo, GEJ brought it upon himsef if he was matured enuf to deal with the issue without allowing his wife to lure him into this disgraceful underground move he made. May be he wld hv exercise his powers without all the noise today. Since he wants to be dirty then Ameachi shld go dirty with him. OBJ will neva allow His wife to get involved in such a sensitive issue of state matters. He (GEJ) deserves wat he is getting. |
@shyno, if GEJ wasn't too full of himsef and his wife then may be he wld have been able to Exercise is powers siLently without all the noise. Since he wants to be dirty then Ameachi shld, treat him dirty too. Tit for tat |
Sometimes I jus wonder if we really appreciate ourselfs as Nigeria. PSQUARE did justice to that song it was strictly for nigerians and other african nations who loved them. If one of the jacksons appreciated them is b'cos he saw something unique and genuine in that song and video. PSQUARE handled the dance steps jus as MJ did, even a foreign artist like USHER wldn't hve done better. So we shld appreciate wat is good and not all dis them(PSQUARE) living in someones shadow. Let me ask some of us are we not living in other peoples shadow, behaving and learning from our fathers alone is living and even dieing in their shadows. PSQUARE as a group are doing well in their career especially dis days that most Nigerian artist cannot kip their temple interms of good albums. Kudos to the twin and their brother Judee Engees. |
Please. Fellow nairalanders, as we all are up and doing in assisting each by information. Pls wen is Etisalat starting another recruitment for Customer csre executive? Pls responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank all as u respond. |
@culture, thank u for that brief and sound response@ padogugue life is a funny senario. The whole yoruba race over time has experienced traitors, it is no longer news dat their kinsmen sale each oda for a price. Even Abiola has sold his kinsmen for a price and history has payed him back in his own coin. The yoruba people claim to be better educated than any of the regions put together as nigeria. Major Hamza Al'Mustapha was imprisoned for 14 years without judgement, the court dat discharged him for lack of evidence was in the south west, his lawyer was from the south west. I wonder wat the yorubas wiLl say if he was tried in the north and not found guilty. Even wen june 12 was @ its peak some yoruba elder statesmen were silent abt it, they supported his denial as a winner, wen Abacha claimed their was a coup to ova throw his government some yoruba kinsmen were summoned to Aso rock on returning back they all kept silent. My question is was it b'cos Gen.Abacha said the truth or was it for the simple reason that we are here today discussing this issue. A legal court of law made a ruling and justice was served, wat eslse do the yoruba race want with Al'Mustapha? Wen the case was at its peak we didn't hear them comment, the were all ok even with the education and numbers of legal lumiNaries the yoruba race has no one commented on a quick justice to be served. Is 14yrs not such a long time for jus a single trial I ask? After judgement, I don't knw wat the brohaha is all abt . Pa Fasheun is a man full of sanity, well educated and reserves the right in his own capacity to forgive and forget watever grudge he holds against mustapha. I am very sure today if MKO was alive and a free man, he wld surely say he has forgiven Abacha and Mustapha. As for Gani, he only seeks to be relevant at this juncture since he has lost face in the struggle for the founder of OPC. He shld jus be quite and let the sleepin dog lie in stead of looking for someone to bury along. |
My dear, every club has its rules and the rules applies to all, so I advice u don't go into any fight with them. Wen u decided to join the club I believe was for progress and identification, so it doesn't matter wether its 12 members dat came to your wedding wat is obtainable is dat all members most be accounted for in absence. So pls, try and give them their chicken and move forward with better things. Comfronting them will amount to bad blood. Remain blessed. |
@all, religion is a sensitive issue dat requires neutral mind set. Jus as Alhaji Asari said we shld not be sentimental abt issues, culture differs and the sooner we begin to appreciate dat the easier and better it is for peace to reign. The law is only meant for those who are Muslims and not applicable to the general citizens. So no nid to condemn wat that does not affect u and the religion u practice. And for the records when we say illitrates from the north we fail to reason with the fact that education doesn't mean u having western kind of knowledge/Education. Most of this people u count as illitrates had only islamic education, they can read, write and communicate using Arabic alphabets. So this brings us to the fore who is educated or not? A true muslim will neva condemn any religion it is not even tolerated islamically to call anoda person an unbeliever wen u don't have the moral justification to say u created that person. So pls let's be more educated and enlightened before we comment on issues. And many of us forget that before these religions we had our own cultural values wch embrassed early marriage, cos some of us had mothers that didn't knw much abt relationships but were married off to our grandfathers.I crave the endulgence of liberal minded nairalanders to see and appreciate odas culture and religion as it is, it doesn't make u less or greater. Understanding is of essence to a peaceful coexistence. God/Allah is one buh called in different terms and language. 1 luv |
@Miz,sometimes I wonder the kind of thread people paste on Nairaland. Even an illitrate knows wen he/she is underpaid for a particular job, atleast your body will give u back a feed back to knw dat your take home pay is nufting compared to your efforts. The saddest days of ur work life is always on the day u are payed. That shld give u a signal dat u are underpaid and over worked. |
We all criticise Gen. Abdulsalams comment on the lingering political crisis in the states and in the ruling party PDP. It is important we note that wat has happened in Rivers state is enuf reason for a coup to be imminent, since the onset of our democracy 14yrs back the country still feels abandoned with masses complaining more than in the military days. Atleast one thing everyone is sure of in the military days is peace at all cost. Even as we speak poorly of the corruption and mismanagement in the military days, it is worse now adays with our so called democracy. Our law makers are law breakers, they uphold laws dat protects their lavish lifestyle. The country has withness mass looting in billions of Naira and Dollars, court cases that are endless and meaningless at the end. With such characteristics in the glare, there is need to be afraid where all dis brohaha will lead us if nufting is don fast. In the history of nigeria and in time memorial, even during the military era no time has the first lady meddle into the affairs of the state and the central government until now. The office of the president holds the vote of millions of nigerians and I do not see where the office of the first lady become political rather a previledge by the virtue of being a wife to the president. If a duely elected governor decides to make a law in his state regardless of her excellencey being an indigene does not give her express right to comfront the governor using illegal and hostile approach towards an elected governor. Politics is a game, u learn to play it everyday and odawise seek advice or consultations from people who hv been there before. I felt disgusted wen her excellency told the clergies dat visited her that she tried to stop governor Ameachi from destroying shanties in Okrika town. We shld ask her ova the last three years wat house owners have experienced due to road expansions, I wonda wat people in lagos wld say or do to governor Fashola? I see no regrets today if the military takes ova again, cos our politicians are bunch of money vampires, no vision buh with a mission to clean up the national treasury.Let the military take ova! Bunch of ignorant fools! Dey travell to Dubai and the united Arab emirates for holidays, is it not men like them who made the vision come real. Yet they come back home boarst of travelling round the world but nufting to show for it in their mother land, hw pathetic. Yet they charge the youth everyday to be law abiding and creative, wen even the environment is not conducive for indigenous creativity. For me let the military take ova so we know that the rules is obey the last order, not this rubbish we call democracy. Indeed, demonstration of craze! |
You people will neva post site u use to apply, is only wen u don't have any idea of the job u now want nairalanders to give u information.the whole idea of this forum is to exchange info. And knowledge, so hoard the info. I tire for some people! |
We all should stop the nagging, the yoruba culture demands that, much younger ones are expected to prostrate while greeting, in the north the women kneel down while men squat to show a sign of respect.wiz kids prostration on stage to king Sunny Ade is a necessity by culture. I have seen where KWAM 1 has prostrated to KSA not even on stage but wen he heard dat KSA was around he quickly went to his car and prostrated.so I don't see why many of us don't want to understand and appr8 the yoruba culture, it is quite interesting even wen its alien to some of us. Even in all ramification KSA is a father to wiz kid,so by yoruba culture he should prostrate any where he sees KSA. Some of us are complaining here, but we don't complain abt the Amala and ewedu, gbegiri, pounded yam and eforiro we eat all these are the yoruba culture. We shld love and appreciate our various cultures, dats is the major reason for NYSC cultural integration. For me Wiz Kid prostration to KSA will go far in sending a message to some of us whom will be rich and famous in the nearest future that no matter ur status, u must show respect to elders. Spread the luv! One naija. |
@Mr. Uti, Beverleys character in the house is not xcusable @ the begining of the show she was lamenting in one of the episode hw naija gals don't get freaky abt a man and behold here she is displaying her thru person. Am even more disgusted by the fact dat she made her sef so chip by throwing her sef to Bimp and Angelo wch I find unlady like. She can't even learn from the gals wat dignity is. And sincerly dats why I like this gal POKELO.oga uti beverly dey F.up big tym. |
@kismo, I can understand your motivations. But sincerly wen u get this job u will better understand wat it means to be enslaved. I have had such bitter experience before with CNSSL in jos, all wat was said in the latters text is wat is obtainable. We worked even on days there is crisisin the state, the two days off is less than two days cos u close on the morning of the first day, before u get home is almost 10am u sleep thru out. And may wake up around evening.mind u u only have this two days to put ursef in order like washing ur cloths and scheduled adherence is part of ur evaluation too. My brother after three months check ursef out.u look sick and unkept.ur salary cannot meet ur nids talk more of u sending money to youngers at home who look up to u smtyms for assistance dey cannot ask ur parents for. Life becomes a hand to mouth situation. |
@nenergy@MKO Abiola, pls send me ur personal email addresses and I will send u a sample @Sammy, I hv not yet gain employment but I felt like helping out ok. We learn everyday ![]() |
We shld all remember dat at a point in time INEC too was established, so NIMC has come to stay and will not be scrabbed as speculated. INEC today is only relevant b'cos of the irregularities faced and election tribunals here and there. NIMC we stand the test of time. We have oda commissions dat are someworth irrelevant like lottery commission etc and they waxing stronger by the day. ![]() |
My guy simply visit any of their connect store, experience centre and u will be enlightened more on what u should. Best of luck! |
