The best I think is for them to sort things out. Let them talk. He is not eating am also sure he is not also doing his inner chamber duties too. So staying because the children is not it. Those children is not your wife. They would one day leave. But this woman you once claimed you love and can't do without is your wife. He should not just stay. He should be humble to sort things out. I tell you. He keeps saying he is staying because of the children. My mom and aunts have advised him but he still insists on staying. I can’t live that way , I swear.

It doesn’t always work that way and that person might have his reason for rejecting the food. Real life story, there is this man I know personally. He had issues with his wife but had that mentality of staying together for the sake of the kids. He got back from work one evening to meet his dinner served. He said immediately he saw the food, his instincts told him not to eat it. So he went out and gave the food to the dogs. In the morning all 3 dogs were dead. He confronted the wife and she confessed poisoning the food, while begging him not to tell anyone and that she wouldn’t do it again . He refused and told her family what she had done. Her family pleaded with him not to involve the police. Guess what, they are still together but he doesn’t eat or even drink water in that house. The money he gives is for the children.

Thank you very much. A lot of men overlook this and body shame women. Just this Wednesday at work , a colleague who was trying everything possible to loose belly fat was told she had fibroid after a scan was done. She never for once thought that was the cause of her protruding stomach. And she is 26

True. The stern warning and insults I received when i told my mom the same thing no be small.

Personally, a change of diet did the trick for me. Eat fruits and veggies, and drink lots of water. Also, I know a lady who switched to baby soaps and creams, you need to see her skin now. She said a dermatologist told her the chemical content of some adult products are harsh on the skin and cause some to breakout. Whereas, those for babies are mild.

Exactly. My acne was getting out of hand and wasn't responding to the products I was using. I changed my diet to include more fruits and vegetables. Then cut out sugar, bread infact anything that has to do with flour, plus drinking water frequently. It has improved my skin significantly.

I have been there, trust me. When I wanted to move out, I didn't tell some people. By the time they knew, it was too late because I had already paid a year rent. No emotional blackmail could work again. You're not abandoning them, but just trying to employ new approach. Life is too short to carry the responsibility of the entire extended family on a single head most especially when one doesn't have enough

You honestly don't have to tell them you plan on moving out until you've found a place which should be closer to your workplace, paid the rent and ready to move in. That way they can't talk you out of it anymore and you'd have been too committed to move out and can't be talked out of it. It wouldn't stop you from helping out whenever you can, but just take care of yourself first mentally and physically.

It's an elaborate game nah, you should easily see through it! They know if you move out you will have rent to pay, and thus no money to contribute or pay for thier own rent. You remain they can demand for money from you claiming after all you're living in the house so what are spending money on.

My dear move out for your sanity, start planning for your life. if you die today due to stress you'll be surprised how they will cater for themselves, you go dey spirit realm dey watch the thing like film.

I can feel your pains even though I haven't found myself in such situations, but take it this way, those people calling you back try one day to ask them for a certain sum of money and see their response, do this continuously and any dat they fail to deliver, take your final decision to leave the house and use their response to your call for help to also blackmail them and not beg you out of your decision. And when you finally leave, don't forget to help your parents the little way you can and as for your siblings whatever you will do should be from your mind..
