mustpower,highpower etc all clock in at 31amps max, so those running 8x200ah batts on these devices are you not bothered as the charging rate isnt upto c/10,

Good day house
I'm trying to put up a borehole project in the village somewhere in Anambra State.
It's a village project that will be automated since nobody will be in the house most often time.
Which of these two options would u pick

Option 1: use Solar powered submersible (2HP) with automatic float switch.
The submersible is connected directly to the solar array without the use batteries nor inverter.
The solar array required is 1.8kw or more.

Option 2: use a regular 2hp submersible pump and get an inverter + Solar setup.
I am thinking of getting a 6.3kw solar array connected to a 600amps 48v battery bank using 2 Charge controller and 1no 5kva inverter.

My issue with option 1 apart from lower overral cost is that I have seen it installed in many places and the submersible pumps are usually prone to failure.
The solar array will only be used by the borehole.

While option 2 apart from powering the borehole between 11.30am - 2.30pm will also power the house.

Option 2 is fine, u get power 4 d house too wch ll b very useful, that's if no1 scatters the whole thing.

I recently came across an online scammer using your install pics to make money. He claimed the pics because it wasn't encrypted /watermarked ! He replied me with all confidence that he did the installation at Delta state and when I went ahead to tell him that I know the exact setup location which I was physically present as at then, and even the USA trojan battery supplier, he was dismayed at the truth & blocked me ! Good I have few snapshots so most installers will learn how to work on their displayed pictures as others might be real busy making money with them

Now I have to take water mark serious....

Inverter experts in the house please help out. I have Microtek and Sinergy inverters that keep giving me issues. About 50pcs of each brand currently faulty, sinergy inverters are displaying short circuit protection, while the microtek does not charge the batteries sometimes or refuses to output power. Funny incident is that, some of the inverters work well in the testing shop, but when deployed in various locations in the field, they don't work. I'm currently clueless as to what the problem could be. Anyone with ideas pls quote.

Hello gurus in the house.
Thanks for all the knowledge that has been shared freely in this group. I have really learned alot frm this group.
I went into this renewable energy thing January this year for my business. At the time, didnt hav any single knowledge abt solar energy.
To cut the long story short, met an installer who bought and installed d system 4 me. After learning frm dis group, i discovered dat d system was undersized for my load. The System is already failing at d moment.
So this time i want to spend wisely and get it right.
Here is my current set up.
*SOLAR ARRAY: 2.3kw,
*INVERTER: 2kva 24v sinergy inverter,
*CHARGE CONTROLLER: 60A fangpusun CC and a generic 40A CC.
*BATTERY:2*200ah 12v battery
*TOTAL PEAK LOAD: 1300W(including inverter consumption).
*AVERAGE LOAD: btw 600w to 800w
Am open to suggestions frm the gurus in the house on hw to upgrade the system.

Here are some more info to help with ur advice.
Solar array seems to perform well. Av seen up to 1400w on d fangpusun 60A CC connected to the i.6kw array. The generic CC doesnt display watts, only amps. And av seen up 20A on a gud sunny day. And its connected to a 700w solar array.
Battery is obviously failing and doesnt last long due to d amt of load on it. I dnt even use it in d evening anymore. Once its evening, i switch to my gen.

Wana buy all the upgraded items gradually b4 the end of this year starting with the inverter.
Pls suggest a gud inverter with the following features.(premium inverters are excluded oh. I neva get money reach dat level�)
*Low standby consumption.not more dan 50w
*Over load and short-circuit protection.
*Customizable charging current up to 60A
*Should be able to turnoff inverter charging
*shud hav 3 stage charging
*Shud be between 3.5kva to 5kva 48V
*Gud price point and durable.
*Will prefer non hybrid inverter bt will consider hybrid if its d only option available and d price is gud.

PS: Will my 60A fangpusun CC handle my 2.3kw array if i switch to a 48v system? It currently handles 1.6kw array.

Firstly the fangpusun 60A can handle the 2.3kw array conveniently at 48v. Your load however is quite high no wonder you batteries failed prematurely. it will be cheaper to review your load and cut-off excess or get low consumption devices.
For inverter type, i will recommend ipowerplus 5kva or similar architecture type without inbuilt charge controller due to their overall efficiency and lovely design. try to get multiple strings of batteries(12 batteries configured in 4*3) to reduce stress per string for longevity even though I strongly recommend lithium iron phosphate batteries.

finally I want to re-emphasize the need to reduce your load and if not possible ensure your battery bank is adequate
