A pharmacist is 100% soaked with pharmacology, I did pharmacology from 200l - 500l in Nigeria, that's freaking 4 years, unlike you that had just maybe 1 year. You can't know all unlike a pharmacist who make this drugs. You can't do all . It is like I wash the chicken, fry and package. How will the person that was never there know more. Get the facts right, each profession has their Job description, as a doctor you have enough on your table than thinking of prescribing drugs. It's like telling you I need to start performing surgeries because I did gross anatomy in 200 level Lagusta: Adeola started it by calling us bastards....
In saner countries, a doctor is always the head of a health team, for the simple reason that a patient comes to see no one else....
A pharmacist makes the drugs, makes sure all drugs are up to standard, correct dosages, quality control and assurance, essential drugs formulatory, and the hallmark: RESEARCH!!!
A doctor is well trained in pharmacology; we may not know how drugs are manufactured, but we know basic knowledge of drugs, their pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, half-life, solubility, plasma protein binding, routes of administration, appropriate dosages in adults and children, side effects and adverse effects, contraindications and even ongoing research....
It is an insult to say à doctor cannot prescribe drugs...
I don't like tackling pharmacists, they are the ones belittling themselves!!! Forming an association with cleaners...
Maybe you can ask yourselves why you made that silly mistake |

Tbamo: Finally a smart pharmacist, not the fellow rambling above! We do not say that overall MBBS is superior to pharmacy, what we say is that in our own turf we are superior based on services rendered especially in third world hospitals like those in nigeria! Based on the qualifications you claim to have I bet you are not stuck in a Nigerian hospital screaming with johesu folks! Pharmacists are so much more than hospital drug dispensers they have been reduced to in nigeria! Secondly I won't go to Gsk for example and claim I'm supposed to be head of a team doing drug development cos I'm a doctor! That's the pertinent point we doctors are trying to make! Blame it on Nigeria . Everyone should be put in place. If times were right, a doctor won't be coming to NL claiming he can do the job of a pharmacist. The healthcare is in a shattered state |

I'll take that as an insult, and I'm not happy you did that.... Lagusta ,I do read your posts and it makes sense but I don't expect you to be this obsessed with pharmacy. You insulted adeola so don't take mine personal. Forgive me ok but my question is why do you think medicine is superior? |

emerich: You are an ignorant fool, It's not every health worker that had the intention of studying medicine, so get your facts right b4 spewing rubbish. I still don't get this, while studying pharmacy in Nigeria, some crazy doctors will be asking me why didn't study medicine, I had a 300 in UME and it could get me into any medical school. Must I be a doctor to make heaven ? That superiority shit has eaten deep into their medulla. Well thank God am not in Nigeria. You need to come to USA and see how pharmacists are placed. |

Don't mind them!!!
The nurses no concern me, its all about the pharmacists!!! How could you spend 5-6years in school, do internship for a year, serve your country diligently, then decide to belittle yourself working as a dispenser in a hospital, and forming an association with messengers and drivers....
Oh my blessed GOD!!!!! You got OCD. You obviously obsessed with pharmacy. Take a chill pill |

godG: Oh, I see. Pardon me. Azeezah, how are you?
The number of people? So far, from what I know, the two people who applied for TESOL actually got it. Both in Part 2. The only denial was in part 3 - a community college.
I have said it before, there is no 'standard' rule to visa application. Each applicant is treated independently. If anyone has an admission to study TESOL or whatever course in a good college, please, apply. What the VOs want to see is your readiness to pursue what you want and the sincerity of your application. Each case is different but each case has more success than the other. What works for me, might not work for you. Some visa can't be denied by the VO if you do you homework well. Have seen a lot of people on this thread get visa with a different school/ choice just to have a good case. |

Walspring: Be clear about this... The only reason why schools in usa give condition admission to applicants to study English before majoring in their real course is because they dont have a good record about English and that's why we do advice people to write any of the English test like toefl or Ielts so that their admission will be smooth and they wont do common entrance when they get to school
Advising someone to go an spend more than $5000 for English class in the usa after getting visa before starting his real course is a waste of money because the same person can use less that $200 to write toefl or ielts and pass it with good score, with his/her good score the person wont need to start English class or common entrance in his/her again
N.B --- write toefl or ielts is not just because of VO but more of than Thumbs up. The dude wasn't going for English as a major, he has an embargo on his i20 saying he must clear out from English . Finally engineering will always get visa approval more than English anytime anyday |

On this thread, that I know, it's 98% success rate for prospective graduate students of English. Go back to the guy post. He didn't do toefl and he got admitted into a community with an option that he must take English classes before he can start watever course of his choice. Since you have been on this thread, how many people do you think got a visa with English as a 2nd language ! |

Red grape fruit,broccoli/cauliflower,carrot,egg yolk( it's protenious and contains zinc and selenium), mushroom, kale( you can use it to make egusi soup), water melon, water melon and yogurt. You will be surprised how this works. The pain on your left side chest could be due to stress, physical injuries, heartpain. Firstly adjust your lifestyle by eating healthier, cut smoking /alcohol if you do and exercise more. If the pain still persist, see a doctor ASAP |

Is normally it takes three months or less , the should called u back for another interview.if the dont called back in three months the want to investigate more about the case.so the best shot is that your papers are genuine.the will send field Marshalls if required.be patient with them and dont disturb them, the more u disturb them the more the keep u waiting and might come and give u a negative anwser.my visa took almost two years of administrative process there. I know how u feel. 2years. Sound weird |
