Classicalmusic: Lol, does being a pastor have any collocation with engineering?
What should be paramount for him is getting the visa first. English Language is much better than Engineering due to his work experience. Wanted him to add a bit more aside being a pastor in order to make more sense in the course of his interview.
Every application is different. Being a pastor is not a crime, it might be a call from God. Some people here in the past have been denied for going for english ( as a 2nd language). Abeg don't we speak English already. He has more chances to get the visa for engineering or any other course but not English. We have told him to write SAT. He has 100% chances to get the visa. If he get to the USA, he can transfer go for english. |

lovable85: What can I use to close the gap Theres nothing wrong with the gap, write SAT or toefl, apply to a uni not a community college and forget about applying for English as a second language, apply for engineering straight. |

favouredB: Exactly my point. That's why we share all this experience here so people would also read and learn to stand on their rights. No need to allow them intimidate u becos they are white and they feel they know it all Well maybe because I live in USA and believe in thorough medical check. All I also meant is that the doctor is not trying to take your money, he's just trying to be sure. You can decline the test if you think you are alright. I was a pharm in Nigeria before I moved to Texas so I know better. No one should quote me onto this matter. I was only using my America mentality. I know dollar-naira rate haff increased. Sorry mamas trying to be prudent |

favouredB: Please don't misquote me as I am not blaming anyone here. What I meant was that the hospitals here don't give you a comprehensive list of what and what you are expected to do. They just want to run the test to know if i am positive or not so they can determine baby's status. Like i told them I can have that test done in Nigeria. It must not be here. Even if you are Dangote we still have to be prudent in spending and avoid unnecessary costs. I can't quote all your post so I won't take all the space, I am still saying the same thing. Regardless of what test they want to do, let them do it. The doctor knows what he/she doing. thank God you and your baby are in good health, some people's baby are in ICU and they don't even care about watever bill it will cost to get out. Finally, you dnt have to be rude,it's an insult to my personality , if you don't want advice, you have shouldn't have posted it. I am not dangote but I believe health is wealth. Good luck . I love you and your baby |

favouredB: Please why can't this people tell you all that is involved in childbirth so you will know how to make your budget. From the blues Hackensack just informed me now that they have to carry out Hep B test on me to know if baby has it or not. Meanwhile they gave her the vaccine this afternoon. They are now saying that the vaccine they gave her is for prevention (of course I know) . They need to carry out the test on me to know if i am positive or not in order to determine her own status. Of course there is an extra charge attached and now nobody here can tell me exactly how much am supposed to pay for it. Me I have refused it until I know how much it is. They said baby will not be discharged tomorrow until I carry out the test. I am waiting for them come tomorrow morning. I don't mean to discourage anybody here but I wish I hadn't changed my mind from going to El Passo. Please has anyone had this hep B experience? Is it compulsory? Are you trying to blame people here ? Like seriously I don't understand. . No one forced you to go to any hospital of your choice. You should be happy and pray for good health not complaining about bills. Remember each case re different. What Mrs A spent at the hospital will be different from Mrs B and even on the doctors letter or billing, it states that amount can increase if complication arises, so why come here and blame people for watever complications you have ? Lstly regardless of how much the test is, do it. Good health is better. Na wa o, it seems some people are just after the blue passport and not the good health care you claim at the embassy , It sucks . It is well |

Pls really wanna knw d requirement for internship program and hw much interns do receive on d average The requirement is that as long has you have done induction, get the oath. You can start applying. I don't know the current monthly salary but I know if it's a federal hospital, you should be getting around 110-135k. You could find a community pharmacy in your area for locum if you can cope with doing 2 job. At the end of the day, you will have both hospital and community experience. Hope this helps |

ggratia1: My husband did not marry me for papers. He already has a visa. he had a Job with a Good company in Nigeria Called Purple Rain in Lagos. and they are constantly begging him to come back to his job there. like I said communication is our problem. I hate when people think that just because my husband is Nigerian he just married me for papers. I have met alot of his family here and I talk daily to his sister. and I have even talked to his crazy ex wife. We were brought up with different customs. both of our parents are still living and still married. Im 44 and my husband 42. We are not kids. I'm just trying to learn how to relate to him better, so we don't argue. I appreciate the comments, but no one is going to turn me against my husband no matter what. I love him. What am I doing wrong? I don't know. Try to understand . Nigeria families don't owe you anything as the wife. They only care about their son's decision. He's an adult. Trust me,theres no EX anywhere. The guy probably married. You need to say the truth so people can give you a sane advice. You said he didn't marry you for papers. Go back and read your first post; you said he doesn't have a job and you got a lawyer to get him a work visa. Please did he come with visa lottery or what ? Be truthful ok. Thanks |
