ExLaidback:
That Ren Cap analysis on first bank carried by nairametrics is beginning to seem more like a ploy by some gangsters to push the stock price down.

About NPL denominated in dollars

Or maybe I'm just consoling myself.

$$$
The troubles and troublers of fbnh are many.
Rencap had been crashing fbnh price since the days of John the baptiser.

Skyebank result MAY come out 30th/May/2016.
The over delay of result is a bad omen.
Secondly, Skye has long been desperate to raise money of the size
that could have genocidal effect on existing shareholders if carried out at low prices.
Investors are wary of this, and that's why it was late and reluctant to join the current bull.

For the last time, I will say this, myjoy085, do not have other moniker apart this.
Fogerr'about that, brother. Nobody is a kid, or is accusing you of anything.
We're only having fun, and making money this year.
The sheer promptness of your response at the slightest mention of your pirate moniker
is enough proof that you have been very much in the room all the while by your other, or should
I say, original moniker(s).

Why have we forgotten the word "BULL" in this house ?
A bull that started in the oil sector is rapidly spreading over the market.
Fbnh and UBA are slowly rising to the occasion right this moment that you're reading this.

It's still there.
I sold and bought almost immediately just b4 this post.

Tigerbrands dey vex o !

Smashed thro the 5 naira mark with crushing strength (10.02%).
Kilometer 10 not impossible in the near term.
Methink folks have already started positioning in curiosity over its Q2 result now that it has turned the corner in profitability.

Pls immerse yourself in dd and when you come out, consult an investment expert.
We're making money this year.

Stocks like DAAR, Dunlop, Wapic and Co also deserves the comment in bold.
So many of them really, but I've just seen abc result and I just wonder why some companies that made their founders billionaires when private turn to Loss makers when quoted.

ABCTRANS : Why have you forgotten me in the car park?

MARKET : You have not shown me a Good Result.

ABCTRANS : Get me out of this horrible place and I will show you a Good Result.

MARKET : No no no....that's not how it works....you have to show me a Good Result first.
You know, your business is very visible.
Everybody sees your big buses running around Nigeria and the West Coast, yet, each quarter, you come out with a worse
result than previously.
Are your passengers travelling on free tickets?
Show me a Good Result and I will lift you up.

ABCTRANS : (Now boiling) Ok, since you're like that...people have told me...everybody knows you're very wicked,
but I will deal with you. (Slaps Mr Market with an even bigger Loss Result-Q1'16-than ever before).

MARKET : Hahaha! Foolish company, you slap me with a bigger Loss Result?
You have only slapped your destiny.....you have no sense, and that's why you are where you are...........
Now you will rot in that car park!
And when I finish the new park, the 1 kobo park, you will be first to be moved there......junk stock!!!

When it comes to the issue of Oil and Gas industries finance, all financial institutions are involved irrespective of the type of transactions they deals with. So nothing to be worry about sir. Interrogation is not synonymous to conviction grin. GTBank, Zenith, Stanbic, and UBA MDs' will soon be invited for questioning grin
Myjoy its not oil and gas finance but money laundering they're investigating o.

They're probing the distribution of illicit election campaign/rigging loot thro the banks;
Diverted loot originally meant for arms purchase(Dasuki),
and other loots possibly from the Sanusi reported almost $50b missing from NNPC Acct.

Tiger finally set to jump over the 4 naira mark ?

If I tell you the saga of my Tiger JIJO you go laff sotey.....
Right now I'm in my 4th JIJO this year, each time JIing higher than I had previously JOed (in nsempa tongue)
I had sold off 3 times in the past due to mis-judgement.
Right now I'm in my 4th re-entry, but this time with no plan of exiting b4 kilometre 10 or beyond, (if you like shout. grin)

Dangflour is not dangsugar with 12b shares outstanding, mind you.
This one has only 5b, two thirds of which are locked up in Aliko's wharehouse, leaving only one point something billion units for the rest of humanity to scramble for.
And are you waiting until you hear that even the South Africans have returned through the back door to mop from the floor, this time as ordinary shareholders, since core investorship did not favour them, and given all the turnaround plans we have been hearing and witnessing around dangflour?

Nigerian retail investors are madly in love with this stock.
You only need to watch it trading.
It's reversion to the old name of Dangote Flour has heightened the seductive appeal, awakening the memories of its former glories in the heydays of the NSE.
And regarding the problems that drove away the South Africans, forex and all that, Dangote has said among other things that his Group will soon be selling forex to the CBN.
And dare you question his ability to do what he says he will do?

Based on the foregoing sentiments, I easily see this stock shooting past dangsugar in no distant future.
Scarcity will be a driving force.
I personally am targeting 10 or near that (if you like shout grin) in my present foray which means going medium to long term.

Please immerse yourself in due diligence and consult an investment expert.

Apart from the listed, what other companies should investors (not traders) look out for?
1)Dangote Cement
2)Lafarge
3)Julius Berger

What of the other lesser ones in the Building Materials Sector like
Ashaka
CCNN
Berger
etc, but pls I have no idea of their latest fundamentals.

Plz go ahead and buy for the following reasons;
1. Dangote is massively benefiting from forex policy,dt is his companies are buying dollar directly from CBN at #199 per $

2.dangote flour has been listed among d companies dt will partake in the federal govt school feeding projects.
3.Dangote is very close to the president .
4.the company is starting again on a clean sheet, that is no debt overhang.
5.the company is embarking on backward integration.
6.the company will also diversify into agriculture soonest.
The man said Dangote Group will be selling forex to CBN, I think, next year.
Once his refinery is up and running the entire Forbes List will quake violently.

@Godisfaithful do u think tigerbrands can reach 5 naira considering their latest impressive result which turned the company into profitability? .( that is from loss to 1.5 billion profit after tax) And there are rumours that they will pay interim dividend and are planning to expand for export purposes.
It may struggle a while to overcome the 4 mark, but this stock will go places, barring a general market decline.
It has superstrong positive sentiment around it, portable shares in circulation with liquidity at the same time.
All of which is not saying one must remain in a good ride to the last bus stop b4 exiting with your loot.

People watching FO should note that its reversal may not be as sharp as people think,
being that many people may still be having the bonus shares to sell, and it's still attractively pricey.

On eterna, please, I say please does it mean nobody knows the closure date for the said corporate action,
or it has not been disclosed?

Sale of a portfolio that is not owned by the seller; a technique used to take advantage of an anticipated decline in the price or to protect a profit in a long position. Its actually borrowing shares from another trader and paying later at a specified amt u agreed to pay him then taking out your profit from the price drop u traded.
As one person puts it. You make use of call and put options. The good thing is that u have less players doing it so volatility is avoided.
