OBAGADAFFI: How true is this new. What's the yardstick for pushing 100billion into the bank. As bailout? To rescue it? To recapitalize it? Then existing shareholders are finished, since they could not recapitalize it themselves. They will be reconstructed out of existence. Govt is not in the business of recapitalising a business for anybody. |

I have a question. What if FBNH H1 PAT is about N30b, will it impact on the current price positively?
Cc: Megainvest Coolcash1 Intendy Mercylicious Lancee No, negatively. The mkt is expecting 40b or more. Do you have any info to that effect? |

Once bitten, twice shy. "Newbies stay away from..." has become his new chant. Godlyguy I don't blame you o. If you have money, start loading transcorp. It's one of the stocks that take off on a huge rally anytime the market goes euphoric. Others are champion, oando, dnmeryer etc. Or is Zendi also among the m-hunters ? |

PharmAlfred: Hello house, Please does any one have more information on what is going on at Transcorp Plc. The stock is consistently going south. Transcorp doesn't seem to have a bad outlook considering it fundamentals. Or is it just sheer sentiment that is not in its favour. Any info would be appreciated. Intendy: get your drift but depends on everyone's risk tolerance.
true yield is 17% and an upward payment ,its good for Heavy money bags.
Some fund managers will just go put money in TB and bring the proceed to stock market since you are paid from onset.
some stocks will beat that 17% true yield but most wouldn't. Quite understood my brother. Some people and institutions are so big their own focus is to preserve what they already have. Some stocks, infact many, may even go 15% or more down in 365 days. I was partly only teasing, but seriously wishing us well, you know, the jackpots . |

Intendy: How many stocks can guarantee good return now? just few.when TB can now guarantee 15% return over a 365 days investment and risk free. one needs to dig deeper. happy week ahead Intendy, I understand what you mean, playing it safe and stable. But, 15% return in 365 days? Scandalous!!! Then why would one be wasting time and data all year? We just must be lucky and make BIG money this year thro God's Grace, even in the face of all seeming odds. And no apologies to those who don't like hearing this. Lucky week everybody! |

davide470: The below should help Lagos, Nigeria – Oando Plc (referred to as “Oando” or the “Group”), Nigeria’s leading indigenous energy group listed on both the Nigerian and Johannesburg Stock Exchange, today announced audited results for the twelve months period ended 31 December, 2015...
Oando (Group) is listed as "Oando Plc", but in itself, there is a downstream subsidiary called Oando Plc.

davide470: Oando had entered into a definitive agreement with OER to sell the outstanding minority shareholdings in the OER to another wholly-owned foreign-based subsidiary, Oando E&P Holdings Limited.
Oando E&P Holdings Limited will also subsequently take over shares held by Oando Plc and other institutional shareholders in OER, making OER a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Oando E&P Holdings Limited, a private company incorporated under the Laws of the Province of British Columbia.
So technically, Oando Plc do not have any holdings again in OER. Thank you v much. Good to have people like you around, able to cut thro the maze of oando legal manoeuvrings. Now, straight to the bone of my concern : Is the bolded, Oando E&P Holdings Limited (still) owned by the Oando Plc we're trading on ? |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 6:05pm On Jul 07, 2016 |
The Oando boss explained that the company has completed 100 per cent divestment from Oando Energy Resources, OER, which was a loss making business, saying that it would allow the company to focus on its core business of retail downstream trading and gas production.Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/debt-ridden-oando-begs-investors/Ref the above statement, taken from the last paragraph of the story in this link, has oando plc actually sold oando energy resources, and if so, to whom? Is it not OER that handles the upstream business of oando, including the acquired COP assets ? Pls I need somebody who understands to explain the bolded, or is it a case of bad journalism ? |

Another name for Oando should be Onigbese.
Half a Trillion debt no be joke. But when your product is crude oil.............. ? If the militants keep disrupting Nigerian output, thereby pushing price in the int market., while sparring oando's own installations at home, they will soon clear the depth and even borrow more to acquire more assets. |
