Skye Scare Syndrom is affecting the banks.
With their huge oil and power sector loans gone bad, nobody is sure which ones are headed the way of Skye.
Golden opportunity though, to amass the ones you're sure will survive, and wait for the news of foreign investors invasion to hit the market.
Oando could be upbeat today, somewhat, my only reason being that fickle crude oil is looking up.

I would assume therefore He will be neutral on this.
I never pray for rain to cease because God is equally committed to plants and frogs crying for rain to soak the earth.
My advice is to sell the oando when it spikes again, to not allow it destabilize you emotionally.

Bros no vex o, you know say I be novice but the figure I have for Q1 2016 is c.N20B. Also the guy whose statement I quoted said PAT not PBT. Maybe we need more clarification on the results. I stand corrected but if with all the economic recession and headwinds the banks are currently facing, a bank like FBNH - that some people were even thinking will not make it after a disastrous FY 2015 - is posting N32B PAT, then except the poster made some mistake, that comes across as very good.

So with a Q1 of N20B, I can understand why a H1 (not Q2 mind you) of N32B would be a disappointment. But if its a Q2 (not H1 mind you) of N32B, then that is definitely a good result.

Anyway can you kindly recheck the figure you quoted for Q1 2016, I may have been wrong.

H1 or First Half Result is the same as Q2 Result Result
because the accounts are added up or updated every quarter.
It's up to you to start separating the numbers.

If it reports 32b in H1 it means it made only 12b in Q2,
against 20b in Q1 which is QnQ PAT 'Drop' or 'Decline'.

Oga Market does not know Good and Bad Result, when it comes to short term pricing.
He leaves the judgement about Good and Bad, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder.
He is on the look out for Growth or Decline Results, to reward or punish accordingly,
at least in the acute short term.

The post you're referring to is intended as high humour, with some mild acidity.
It is a token reaction to the increasing acidity of your own responses on oando matters, of late.
You have invoked poverty upon a forumite for merely expressing his desired oando entry point.
You have uttered unprintables in vernacular against bnsiTL for mere teeth flashing; teeth flashing which is one of the tools by which we inject some fun here, into the grim business of money making.
Be assured that oando will surely make km-10 and and beyond.
Equally, folks wishing it down to various southish entry junctions deserve also to have their own desires considered.
But the timing for all these manifestations is known only to God, who is loving and almighty to grant everybody's request.
