We know those who genuinely fought for this democracy. Tinubu should stop counting himself among them. He wasn't really a big figure during pro-democracy activism of military era. Gani fawehinmi we know, so also Umar, Ajasin, Lam Adesina, Enahoro, Bola ige, students' union activists and many other Nigerians who didn't run away but stayed in the country to confront military regime of IBB and Abacha.
