Huawei p40 product detail flaunting the IMX386 50MP camera lens.
|
credon:I have no problem with him sir, I understand if he has a problem with me. But soon, he will appreciate my unyielding pursuit as regards to this matter for nothing but the truth. |
I have contact the famous dxomark to run a check on the camon 15 premier and report thier details to prove that indeed the sensor on the Tecno camon 15 premier is indeed the Sony imx686. |
edoairways:Too late to step down from this sir... I am not too intelligent sir... Mind you, I am intelligent enough to expose the dubious and scammish nature of Transision. I and millions of Nigerians have suffered enough.... Transision deserves to be exposed for the fraud they are and have been... This I will do, and so will everyone who are tired of being taking for granted by Transission with joy and purpose. To anyone interested on how this is going, find this matter on twitter, @zesushv |
edoairways:I was defrauded, scammed and cheated by Transission countless of times. The first was Tecno promising to upgrade the Tecno R7 from android 4.2 to 4.4. Also, i was scammed by a false detail page on jumia claiming the infinix note pro comes equipped with 13mp back camera when in truth, it's the same 8mp camera found on the infinix note. You can ponder about those cases for now. |
edoairways:Keep up sir.... |
A solid contact whom is also**********, had another option. Which is fruitful. But patience is needed. Be sure the inquiry are pouring in from both local and to international level on Sony's statement on the matter. So its inevitable a reply from Sony will come.
|
Someone gave me a speed dial link to Sony.. Unfortunately its unavailable at the moment.
|
This thread which was aimed at spitting me. I will be using for all the updates as regards to details concerning Tecno's dubious act of using a 64mp camera lens on their device but failing to mention this not even once. Well here is xiaomi and pocophone floating the use of the Sony imx686 64mp on their various devices for all to see.
|
edoairways:I am glad it's my time.... The end product will show if you are right or wrong. |
Wraith090:Are you for real? Their twitter handle doesn't count, an aliexpress sale detail doesn't count? You want me to give you an information from their official site.... I don't deal with blogs yet I tweeted techcabal for a conformation on their post concerning Tecno using a Sony lens.? Is it that you don't comprehend simple details or you just want to keep acting dumb so everyone can keep laughing at your ignorance? I will be here and updating details here once Sony replies. Other than that... I don't find your behaviour or ability to be unreasonable funny. |
hardeycute:Sir na im dey create thread with my name then attempt to drag me into dubious and ignorant claims oh... I believe him vex one day for my matter then felt he can do it... Ran to twitter, then to nairaland. Only to have made it worse for Tecno... Now the whole world is aware of the inclusion "Sony" in Tecno's claim... If Sony rejects that claim... Tecno is completely done for.... It will take them forever to even get a single customer... Me..... I will make banners and flyers to publicise Tecno's fraud, then drag Transission along with it... Edoairways vexed me by saying that nothing I can do will affect Tecno's camon 15series sales, I rebuffed that claim... And took my findings to twitter... Tecno are starring at the pile of their thousands of camon 15series. WRAITH090 has even angered me more..... It's now a personal interest to me, to ensure Tecno doesn't get away with this.... With the help of you all, Sony will comment on this... I will make it my job to expose every lie that comes out of Transission holdings. |
edoairways:Your point is? The persons here don't matter to Transission, the persons in the villages and cities do? Okay... Transision has 40% share in the Nigeria smartphone industry. Xiaomi has 0.1% share... 10 happy customer is better than 2000000 unhappy buyers. |
Wraith090:I thought the information you are nagging about was six or seven months ago. Barely 16 hours, you expect me to have gotten a reply from Sony on the matter? When it took Tecno over 4 months to realise they used Sony as their main camera lens on their 105k device... I didn't know you rate me so high. I know you are desperate and a fault finder. But you are digging a ditch deep enough Tecno and Transission will never be able to crawl out from. Anyways. The details about the cubot p40 is on cubot's twitter handler and their pre-order page on aliexpress. Please note: preorder page, yet everything is out there to the public and potential buyers. [That is what I call transparency in business]. Two months after the sales of the Tecno camon 15series, every information you find about the devices are misleading, fraudulent in writing, deceitful in construction, all these only points to one truth...... My next post here will be with redmi 10x 5G. |
sunshineV:I be no wan post oh... But this your comment made change my mind..
|
Wraith090:Why do you assume, take a stand as judge at the same time while sighting maybe? You didn't go through the replies of the thread before calling me out, not because I didn't expect you to go through thread. You didn't go through the replies because you thought everyone was technologically redundant and systematically ill-informed to such a fault, they would be dull enough not to address the critical part of their documentation before producing it for public viewership. Please send a screenshot here where you sited tecno's official site as proof to Sony making the camera lens on the camon 15 premier claim. Admit which error? I just noticed you didn't even read or go through the twitter thread but just jumped into the conversation trying to defend Tecno's fraudulent activity because Tecno's wayward products puts you in mind. Otherwise you would have noticed the major headline was camon 15 pro not premier. But unlike you, my research is done before embarking on any criticism or support. The Cubot p40 camera specifications. QuadCamera setup. Sony IMX486 12-megapixel primary. 5mp macro lens. 2x 2megapixel sensors. Front camera Samsung SK5K2T7 20-megapixel. Chipset MTK Helio A22. This is an incoming device from cubot, like every other manufacturer except Transission. Every detail is out there. But Tecno used a Sony imx 686 64mp camera lens and not once was it mentioned during Tecno's campaign and publicising of the camon 15 premier? WRAITH090 slow your roll, be patient. You are looking at the last lie Tecno will ever tell. I am not in a hurry because I have every loophole Tecno will use covered. |
Wraith090:I am here..... But I lost the ability to argue or make you see any different. like I earlier said, you are too caught up in your whose right bubble you have failed to acknowledge the little details like. Where was tecno 4 months ago? Why did Tecno withhold the lens maker's name? The binning technology used for smartphone photography is a complex process that requires a lot of technical and cpu workforce. So how did Tecno jump these huddles to implement a 64mp Sony imx686 lens into the Mtk p35 fold? Tecno claiming Sony made the lens on the camon 15 premier isn't the only error here. Why are you in haste to discredit me? Calm down. Take a death breath... Binning was dealth with on the twitter thread you commented binning as an excuse for Tecno's claim... binning was dealth with Two months before you came to comment on that thread. You sighted @techcabal's post as the source of your claims that Sony lens was used in the Tecno camon 15 premier. I have since contacted techcabal to confirm their post. Which they are yet to. You came to nairaland and this time sited Tecno's official site. Seeing Tecno are not bold enough to speak for themselves in this matter, I contacted Sony for confirmation. Barely 15hours, you have opened a thread here on nairaland making all sorts of outrageous claims. The Screenshots below shows your post and the first time binning was mentioned on the same twitter thread you claim to be the first person to bring binning into the discussion. Whatever is eating you or causing your to be erratic in your behavior. Cool it down, calm your nerves. Tecno will answer to Nigerians, or to Sony as it seems. Pull yourself together, you will have your time to gloat or morn.

thesolutions:When you make ignorant and assumptions statement like this in public forums, you make it impossible for reasonable individuals to find you worthy of a conversation. Postal charges are already affecting xiaomi's trade in Nigeria, that is the only reason Transission devices are having any chance for sales. xiaomi pays more changes for their phones than any Tecno/Transission device sold in Nigeria. The difference is, customers are the ones bearing the levy 100%. Where as in Tecno's case, Tecno takes 50% of the burden from the end customer or so they make the general public to believe. Let me break it down for you. If xiaomi puts its franchise on slot.ng, xiaomi would pay slot.ng for rent of the place, aftersales maintenance, advertisement and import tax. In Transission's case, Transision provides its own aftersales service and on a lease basis with slot.ng. This method applies to jumia too. Unlike xiaomi sending their items from oversea to jumia, Transission has their devices readily available to be delivered via jumia whenever there is a sale request, because Transission has a warehouse where thier devices are stored. So When xiaomi pays jumia for storing their devices in Jumia's warehouse after sending their devices from China. Transision does not, because Transission store their devices themselves. Unlike your acclaimed idea, when xiaomi builds more sales centres and distribution channels in Nigeria. Expect a 25% reduced cost on their products. If you find my statement untrue, take a dive at the India smartphone market before xiaomi became an indigenous company. Micromax, Karbonn, Intex and lava had a fighting chance just as Transission is doing now. As soon as xiaomi entered, even Samsung had to up their game. |
edoairways:Oh I do. Being priced low does not translate to fault littered, unlike you think. The cheapest Samsung device galaxy A2 core doesn't just provide lowend specs, but performance every task so well its amazing. Please note, when a phone falters at every task, treats even the simplest tasks like dialling a call, using the Internet or turning on like an uphill task. That isn't a phone with a fault, that is a crap waiting to die. And that is what you get with 80% of Transission devices. |
edoairways:How then is xiaomi products available offline in every credible store? Already has an after sales service centre in more than 3 states in Nigeria, with plans already in place to build 7 more before the end of 2021? |
Edopesin:Stay tuned sir.... You will findout soon. |
Since I reported a discrepancy with Tecno's camon 15 pro/Premier to jumia concerning withholding the chipset details of these devices while claiming they had NFC, these said devices have been removed from the jumia list. I am in no way saying this was why they were removed, I am saying I can't find these devices anymore on the e-retailing shop anymore to confirm if the error has been fixed or not. So no way I am trusting what Tecno said as regards to their products. They can employ any tactics to deceive any gullible customer.

Darthvader93:Sir I dey here... I wanted Tecno to involve a power higher than the average Nigerian's. They may have been smart in including a reputable brand name, seeing Sony won't pay much attention. But they failed to consider the dangers if Sony sues them for quality and brand name slandering. Now I have evidence to show and Sony to call... Transision fit no apologise to me or Nigerians, but they go apologise to Sony. |
Edopesin:That is where you are making a mistake. Pixel binning is not a technology available in all smartphone above the 32mp camera single image limit. And I won't do Tecno's job for them.. July 31st, I will reveal the trick Tecno used. Its an old one, it's a dubious one that reeks of ploy invented to scam innocent Nigerians. |
edoairways:Which companies don't consider Africa? Who says Africa is poor? |
edoairways:I would not feed them. Its not my job to feed them. But encouraging deceit and dubious act to justify your personal gain is wrong and inhuman. Sighting it as an excuse portrays you as a ****-who would do anything including throwing others under the bus to food. You are like a modern day Esau. This is the instincts of an animal, your friends and love ones deserve better from you, including Nigerians. And be sure I have never forced anyone to buy or disregard any product. I tell them the deficiencies they are at least 85% liable to face if they go for a Transission device. And the products they will go for and not face such issues. In these I lie not, nor do I coax people into a choice. I tell them the truth, they make their choice. I am following a friend back to a store come Monday, where he bought an itel device with unverified features and false specifications to make him pay the exorbitant price for the itel device, to get a refund. Am I wrong to do this? |
edoairways:So because of food, you would encourage people to sacrifice their hard-earned money to a wasteful franchise to satisfy your belly? Can you be this evil? I am asking honestly. |
There are over 56 quality checking administrators in the world. Transision devices don't go through any sort of certification for quality check, Transission devices are treated as a substandard phone because they never undergo quality assurance checks. Huawei, vivo, oppo, xiaomi and Samsung devices go through at least 5 certification before being released. The recent device from xiaomi, redmi 9 went through SiG, 3C, Philippines certification, India quality certification and its just a lowend device. The Tecno camon 15 premier, infinix note 7 and the latest itel trap don't even have a single certification to assure users of the quality of the product they are buying. Even SON doesn't provide any quality check other than a stap for these Transission devices. Why would any advance country want such a product in their country? |
Darthvader93:Yeah Tecno employed the services of Sony for an imx686 image sensor that is as complex and demanding technologically with the help of binning to archive a 64mp output image reproduction, but fail to mention it for the past 4 months. Yet I am the one who should apologise? I am the one who has been schooled because a technology that is as old as the android system and discuss on the tweet I was schooled on called binning was mentioned yesterday? ... I know how important it is for someone to be right. But to lay bay the intelligence of someone just to feel important is all forms of wrong. I am really angry right now, I want to mention the dubious manipulative means Tecno used in archiving the 48mp on the camon 15mp pro.... But I won't yet.... Let me hear from Sony first. By the way... Running a search to see if I will find a transcript or statement from Sony official website as regards to this transaction between Sony and Tecno. So far. None... But hey... Na the matter we dey. |
Wraith090:Alright I have heard you. And I am not interested in changing your mind. My job is to present to you and the general public with the truth regarding this issue. Whether your mind changes or not is solely your responsibility. |
