It's because of the bolded that a few of us here have taken steps to curbing the spread of this deceit and scam being endorsed by every hungry and selfcentred celebrity in Nigeria.

I was among the few persons who held xiaomi accountable after a backdoor was found in the mi browser.
If you check nairaland, you will see fellow Nigerians who were supposed to be in support of such magnanimous endeavour by me, actually doing the reverse by condemning me for showing my displeasure towards xiaomi's way of managing users privacy.
Xiaomi has since fixed this error, but the outright toxic reaction showed by Nigerians here on nairaland towards me as though me acknowledging the wrong doing of xiaomi is the crime and xiaomi committing the actual crime was of no consequence.

Fast forward to now, I still have the campaign against Tecno's scam which is the camon 15series on my twitter.com/zesushv pinned post. Calling Tecno to question, but like you clearly stated they are not interested in being accountable to Nigerians because most Nigerians don't hold them to account.

But I am among the few Nigerians who is holding them accountable, when you check that pinned post on twitter and see the amount of retweets and shares, and replies and comments there. You would agree a large number of Nigerians are fed up with this transision trash.

We can't keep relying on a failed system to speak for us. The time is now, we can render their deceit an open lie by spreading their hidden scam and fraudulent goal against Nigerians public.

Convinced a relative on phone yesterday to shun the wayward and outdated devices in the form of Tecno spark 4 and Infinix hot 8 for the redmi 8. It wasn't an easy task. But it was worth it, knowing one innocent user has been swayed from the claws of transision.

If you are saying the phone price is high, it is expected of you to tell us another brand with the same quality that is cheaper than this and don't just sit in your house and say xiomi, oppo, vivo etc are better. How do you justify the use of a micro USB port and HD+ resolution display on a 7 inch $200 mid range smartphone in 2020? Especially considering the competition usually offers type C port and FHD+ resolution at this same price point. The infinix note 7 lite is a complete waste of time and energy. The fact that infinix actually opened factory, encouraged workers and even dare to make the infinix note 7 lite shows infinix have been allowed too much play time.
Spending time creating scramps and mediocrity should be a punishable offence in the technology court.

Mind you, the redmi 8 of 2019 is still a killer device compared to anything transision will ever come up with till 2025.

It's always a 12mp camera lens upscaled to 48mp, nothing wow there. Ever wondered why Google pixels 12mp single camera beats all these 48mp dual cameras hands down

I am not talking of 48mp camera lens in general, I am inquiring about the claims by infinix and then propagated by the op that the infinix s5 pro has a 48mp camera lens when it's technologically impossible for the hardwares of the s5 pro to house such multi pixels module in that chipset.

And there is no such thing as pixel or camera lens upscaling, there is just pixel binning.
And the Google pixel 12mp does not beat all 48mp camera lens hands down, check doxmark not sure if I spelled it correctly, it's a camera benchmark app for further reference.

But I have thrown away all my remotes at home. A device without an ir blaster is like the usual talk then "I can't use a phone which has unremovable battery".

Over 10 days till date. No reply from Tecno despite this tweet reaching over 6000k engagements.

I am one of the pioneers who were questioning xiaomi's way of managing users privacy after a discovery by forbes was made into the mi browser.
In less than 3days after this discovery. Xiaomi pushed two updates with the option to fix that privacy leak on the mi browser.


There is a huge difference between a globally recognised brand and a locally centralised scam.
