Why does Nigerians vote according to Religion or tribe?

For example, no one knows the religion of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa is from a Venda tribe, which is the smallest tribe in South Africa.
On top of the above statements, South Africans voted for Ramaphosa.

The power and tenacity of the Nigerian hustle spirit goes both ways; negative and positive and this is evident anywhere you turn, all you need do is google and you will see for yourself, however as the saying goes "no news is good news" so all you are pumped with in social media is the negatives and so you assume this is the "norm" out of a population of 200million people. Mathematically speaking that would be absurd.

Unless you push your government back to the reprisive regime of the former nationalist government which would require constitutional changes. I am afraid cross border and Migratory issues will continue to be a problem in SADC until your slow government is able to find reasonable solutions to the problem.
SImply wishing away the" illegals" will be an impractical solution but hey who am I to comment. Your Home affairs minister just back tracked on his all Zimbabweans should leave Dec 31st 2021 policy and extended it into next year because his directive was challenged in the judiciary.

Sorry my friend you guys need to rip that consititution and start a new one cause you didn't know what you were doing when your freedom fighters first enacted it.

My two cents.
You are correct our home affairs minister disappointed lot of people. Also you are correct our constitution has lot of loopholes.

One of the reasons that before you become a Zulu king you must kill a lion is because the founder of Zulu nation Shaka Zulu killed a lion when he was 18, before he became king. He killed a lion without a gun.

Just to teach you, channels that you see on Nigerian dstv is not the channels they see on South African dstv.

Most South Africans do not know that there is language called Hausa.

Most South Africans do not know that there is black people who are Muslims.

ForumNL:
Nigeria have two movie industry
Kannywood and NOLLYWOOD
Kannywood is basically Muslim and Hausa movie industry

NOLLYWOOD include
1. NOLLYWOOD Yoruba
2. Nollywood English
3. Nollywood Igbo

3 distinct movie industry altogether

Talking of success
Nollywood English is most popular, in like 2010 it was more of igbos (era of aki and paw paw, Sam loko efe, Mr Ibu) with few Yoruba but within the space of 10 years Yoruba have dominate NOLLYWOOD English and now standard

Best Directors are Yoruba
Highest rated movies are directed and produced by Yorubas
More than 55% actors and actresses are Yoruba

From Omo ghetto
Chief daddy
King of thieves
Wedding party
Sugar rush
Prophetess
Fate of alakade
My village people
Jennifer's diary
The list is endless

Click the link to see the highest grossing Nigerian films

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_Nigerian_films

That's for NOLLYWOOD English

Now we all know NOLLYWOOD Yoruba is more popular and more successful than Nollywood Igbo, in fact the actors and actresses in Yoruba movies are far more successful than those in indigenous Igbo movies

If you argue this you are only fighting the truth
Peace
Thanks for the clarification, in South Africa we only know Nollywood English.

Maybe Kannywood is Known in Saudi Arabia

Last week in South Africa, king Of the zulu nation MisuzulU was corinated.

Zulu king rules many tribes in South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, DRC, Nigeria, Tanzania and many more countries.

Zulu nation is the biggest monarch in Africa, Zulus are known by loving their Language and most of the time they refuse to speak English.

Zulu nation was formed by King Shaka Zulu. King Shaka Zulu was fighting all the kings of the African tribes, he used defeat those kings and take all the people to belong under his leadership.
He called all people that belongs under his Leadership Zulus. Zulu was his surname, thats how the zulu nation started.
He defeated most kings in southern, eastern and Western Africa. He took all those communities to his kingdom.
When Shankar gets old most senior soldiers took some people and run away to the Northern part Of Africa.
That is why there is zulu decent in Nigeria, Ghana, DRc, Kenya, etc
