Pls I live in Awka (state capital). D area is GRA phase1, just a stone throw (no very close) (no very very very close) to/from d govt house. The bargain we meet here is that we hv one day ON, d next day OFF. Even at that, they fluctuate light too much on our day ON, infact some times dey take it d whole day. We run on gens almost 80% of d nights (btw 6pm & 11pm), I mean even on our day ON. Two weeks ago, phase 3 people came together & paid 400k to PHCN, so they were automatically connected to industrial line (24/7). Two weeks into that, they too resumed complaining.
PHCN is pathetic!

So lets organise a NL par-tay.

I agree with the government because besides every other point, the child can see violence as a way of solving problems. The child may also become resilient to flogging (and have this worst-case-analysis syndrome).
But how else then can discipline be instilled in a child?. Some children are really really stubborn.

@post. My sis just left to spend d nite wit my cousin. C luggage! 4 just a nite?! But guess what, most times this shows d largeness of a woman's heart. Inside her bag was stuff, gifts 4 almost every member of dat family.
Besides, everypair of a woman's clothes comes with its own matching assessories (headtie, necklace, beads, makeup, shoes & sometimes even undies). Thatz y u guys turn in admiration when u walk past. So, d size of our luggage is JUSTIFIABLE.

Men have always been on the majority everywhere; world population, politics, school, church, market etc. EVERYWHERE! So what'z d fuss?

This is not exactly new to me. U guys don't understand. It happens in my church too & its great fun. Although not dis way. Once every year, my church like most other churches do their annual thanksgiving. So 2yrs ago, we had a church project & needed a lot of cash. After people had come in families &groups for the thanksgiving, the priest (in d bid to get more money 4 d work) suprising announced, oya if u know u r a chelsea fan, come victorously 4 ur thanksgiving. People out of suprise &excitment sprang up and gave. On and on he announced more clubs. So last year, people esp young people got ready (by wearing jerseys) 4 dat part of harvest. Its been great!

Both d man and his wife agreed to go to a church that teaches a man should spank his wife. So they should abide by the rules without complaints. Who knows what such church teaches the women to do to their husbands. As 4 me, nothing will take me 2 a church with such abusive doctrine.
