minfelix: thank you very much…the debate started with being the super eagles player and some people wanna dethrone Yekini for Kanu….Yekini is the best super eagles player so far…anyone wey no gree make ge go dey watch olympic and uefa champions league….This page is even primarily dedicated to super eagles before secondarily looking at other Nigerian team and club level so what brought Kanu into the conversation, if not same person that mentioned Yekini as SE best player was at the same time talking down on Kanus achievements to make his point appear legit. |

Nigerian striker and Nigerian player🤣🤣 oga distinguish between a Nigeria player and a Nigeria midfielder make we dy ask yeye questions, go ask fifa why Osimhen won golden Booth and Nwakali won golden ball at 2019 u17 |

9JAMac10: Kanu is most intelligent and high soccer IQ Nigerian player ever. Okocha is most technically gifted Nigerian player of all time. My favorite super eagles player of all time I witnessed play could be Osaze odemwingie pls watch an intelligent player. |

Napoleon55: It's better you always separate between the greatest super eagles player and the greatest Nigerian player,it will make it easier for people to understand and cause less arguments. Even between the best and the greatest.
Like in my own book, Kanu is the greatest Nigerian player of all time, and probably the best Nigerian player, but he may not necessarily be the greatest or best super eagles player of all time. The title for greatest super eagles player should go to Rashidi.
In this way.
Greatest Nigerian player of all time: Kanu
Greatest super eagles player of all time: Rashidi.
Best Nigerian player of all time: Okocha/Kanu
Best super eagles player of all time: ?? Baba na God go bless you for this talk, the way some people talk down on our players that are celebrated all over the world, I can't just stand it |

Does Kanu have it? Listen to yourself all rounded abi local champion. Since you were using scoring at Afcon to talk down on kanu achievements, lemme use it to upgrade Musa achievements since we all want to reason with our left brain |

Kanu only has an egde in Olympic(Age grade tournament) over Yekini in Nigeria’s color Best Nigeria striker, yekini for now 😂 Best player kanu |

We are not saying Kanu is not good, talking club career he is our best till date. Kanu is far better even with the super eagles, this lies has gone on for too long, go watch 2002 world cup qualifiers abi qualifier is not part of super eagles games |

Many forget even some OGs how instrumental kanu was in our qualifying for 2002 world cup. |

Kog45: Some just don't want to accept it Kanu was very average for eagles(6 Afcons 3 WCs with no goal, even talking assists,Odegbami and Siasia are better than him, though talking Europe football career he is the best but Osimhen is breaking that record soon.I just hope players like Osimhen, Lookman made it to WC so that old records can be broken.... kanu was ridiculously good, a beauty to watch. Best Nigeria player in my book with 2 APOTY, hoping Osimhen equal that record. |

Kog45: It was the team collectivity cuz a well laid free kick from Lookman and also Chuckwueze little effort for the second goal.... against Zimbabwe it was yeoman assist from Aina....let us not put Osimhen in Rashidi Yekini situation.
Remember Ekong said eagles is not only about Osimhen, very heavy statement.
We need to appreciate them together, though Osimhen is the main man Yea, I get you, I'm not putting Osimhen in that situation but speaking fact, we can choose to give the assist to Samuel for the 2nd goal but we know deep down Samuel intention was not a pass to Osimhen but just a clearance. What Ekong say and the reality is two different things. |

caprikon: As fans I think we get too emotional following a loss. This same team won in Rwanda (a very difficult place to get a result), but drew (lost) at home in the dying minutes of added time.
Let us see what Chelle can cook. If we miss our of the world cup, it isn't his fault but the clowns in the NFF.
Rohr's scouting team did a great job. Chelle needs his own guys to do same. After AFCON, we can the assess Chelle's performance. Yea the team held their own in Rwanda but looking at it critically, it was Osimhen individual brilliance that gave us the win. |

Goke7: If we won the game nobody will bother much about change of positions or substitutes. We are all just suffering from the pain of the match result. We will rather be celebrating Chelle and be abusing previous coaches if we had all the maximum points, I know us very well If but the reality is that we did not win. BTW even in the game against Rwanda, fans still complained about playing Aina at LB in of his natural position. |

solonnachi: Are we back to this Kelechi Nwakali matter again? yes oh, as long as we keep allowing smaller countries dominate our midfield, the name Nwakali won't stop coming up. You guys can call it agenda if you like, but to me I still get angry whenever I see smaller countries run riot around our midfield, especially in our home games. |

Napoleon55: To be honest oga Meli,NFF is not the reason why Nwakali is not getting invites, it's his club football. He displayed glimpses of potential for an elite football in his youth career but have not been able to live up to to that like his friends Chukwueze and Osimhen, not even close.
What would u do if you are the coach and as one of those who placed that so much expectation on him and got disappointed?
Unless u have a godfather, ur club football is the only way to get into national team,or a coach who really believes in ur abilities is hired. like Papa and Tanimus club football got them into the national team ☺️ |

BankyGee: I remember writing it here that in our first four World Cup qualifying games without Osimhen, it was only in ONE game a forward scored, which was Kelechi Iheanacho 🆚 Lesotho.
The remaining three goals were one from a defender and two from midfielders, Osimhen played just two games and is just three goals from the highest goal scorer on the chart... No be juju be that? 😡 i was seriously thinking about it, so without Osimhen the SE cannot score. Kc was another reliable goalscorer for us before he started going down. |

codemaniacs: You've brought Nwakali....
they will come for you soon.. But we seriously need a player with such skills, that's why I rate Mikel so high, against Zimbabwe we shouldn't be talking of defending a one goal lead at home. We should talking of controlling the game, keep possession let the opponent chase the ball. |

He may not be the best, but he's definitely not the worst. He's not bad, my point is that he played very well in our first game before his injury which hinder his game time tru the tournament and not that he played very well in several games during Afcon. |

Maybe if he was from the north you for bring up the northern abi Hausa agenda |
