TheGoodJoe: The term is racist. Portuguese and Spaniards need to learn that people are not as tolerating as it is in their countries. Same for South Americans.
Mourinho likely didn't mean it in a racist way but in today's climate, he can't use such term "monkeys". i disagree 'jumping up and down like monkeys' is an idiomatic expression. And looking at the bench he was referring to, it was just one black player in the gala bench. |

Read galatasaray have accused Jose Mourinho of racism after he use the phrase 'jumping up and down like monkeys' to discribe the galatasaray bench after their goalless draw yesterday. Now one of the first to react to this accusation is our own Victor Osimhen. My Take: Osimhen should rest on this, he shouldn't be used for Gala and Fener dirty fight. JM is the last person you will accuse of racism.

Africans don't stand a chance cos the world begins and ends with Europe. |

Because I don't understand your argument. I asked which of those tournaments can you link to the past world best winners. I'm not asking if Europeans or Asians have won it more. |

JohnBullMySon: The devil is in the details. You first have to decide what 'major tournament' even means. FIFA does not classify any tournament as major or minor. We are talking about how much impact AFCON vs Euro has on the Balon d'or. Bro you should answer that question, how much impact does Afcon, Euros, Asia Cup and copa American and Concacaf have on World best not Balon d'or (cos it's an European award). |

TheGoodJoe: Respect people's opinions. You can point out that people should also consider that Gasperini could have played a role in Lookman's improvement without calling people shallow.
Either way, I agree with your point. i don't agree with his point, Lookman was improving with age and whatever coach he find himself as long as he was getting playing time, we would still see the beast mood. Just like saying Guardiola or former Liverpool coach should be given credit for Debryne or Salah after their no show at Chelsea. |

He reminds me so much of a young Osimhen in 2015 U17 World Cup i don't see any resemblance with Osimhen who for me was more aggressive and fast. That guy is a young Onuachu in movement. |

Samueltemi337: How many trophies did they win then? None! But I wasn't talking about trophy,, the fact is that Atalanta was already on the rise from the time of zapata. They have been qualifying for UEFA tournament since 2020. But Lookman help them to win their first top flight trophy. |

Goke7: A pity they are or were in clubs smaller than them.
But one thing that makes me happy is that they made these smaller clubs become big that folks all over the world want to watch. That itself defines who they truly are. To even think that Atalanta played in the second division 10 years ago and today in the champions league. Common on! Lookman had a big impact in Atalanta, but Atalanta was already a top 6 club in Italy before Lookman moved there. |

charlesemeka85: SCORENigeria can exclusively report that Union St.Gilloise striker Promise David, who scored his first UEFA Europa League goal against Ajax Thursday night, has formally applied to change his international allegiance from Nigeria to Canada.
David, a direct replacement for Victor Boniface at Belgian club Union, previously featured for Nigeria in an official U23 qualifier.
“His application to change eligibility has been approved by the NFF,” a top source informed SCORENigeria
‘Tobi’ was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and so he is also eligible to play for that country, who are one of the co-hosts for next year’s World Cup along with the USA and Mexico.
The 23-year-old centre-forward has thus far scored 13 goals and made three assists in 27 appearances for Union this season. This is how it should be, weigh your options and make your decision not when you are 29yrs at the end of your career you're talking about switching. Play one tournament that's all. We don't need machinery but committed players. |

charlesemeka85: SCORENigeria can report that Werder Bremen star Felix Agu is also on long wish list of Super Eagles Eric Chelle.
The 25-year-old Agu was recently endorsed by Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun.
This season, the left back, who could also play at right back and on the left side of midfield, has scored two goals and an assist in 10 Bundesliga appearances for Werder Bremen.
He has already been capped by Germany at U21 levels, that was in 2019 and he will therefore need to formally apply for an eligibility switch.
Eric Chelle has drawn up a list of young players with Nigerian roots, who could freshen the Super Eagles in the near future.
The list includes Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal), George Ilenikhena (AS Monaco), Kazeem Olaigbe (Rennes), Ahmed Abdullahi (Sunderland), Victor Udoh (Southampton) and Samuel Edozie (Anderlecht).

Subzerooo: I must say im with Bannedlargejr on this one, The statement by Gasperini was not nice especially for a public forum but Lookman should not allow those around him to gourd him into reckless actions or statements because potential employers are watching his response and employers are always sympathetic to other employers You guy and this clownish mentality. Everyone is condemning the disrespect from the coach, CAF, NFF, even Atalanta as a club. Nobody is gourding Lookman to take any rash decisions and he has put out a statement and that's it. Let also make this clarity, Osimhen issue and that of Lookman are not the same. One was disrespected by the club, while the other was the coach and has nothing to do with his club. |

Even without read Lookman side of the story, I was not taking the rubbish comment from the coach cos it was unnecessary and uncalled for. Lookman was not the reason the team lost but the coach inept decision. |

He has taken 4 penalties for Atalanta and converted only two, while Lookman has scored all his penalties taken for them except yesterday's (4/5)... And people are not seeing the bias. He did not even call out the stupid captain that was fighting on the pitch. |

Everybody just dey blame Lookman, now them fit rest. Thank you, very annoying. Because most are observant they see that even Retegui missed a crucial pk against Arsenal and he wasn't called the worst pk player by his coach. Your team was already 3goals down and this guy score the only goal to give you a fighting chance, instead of applauding him what we see is criticism and some support such anyhow behaviour. |

Leave sentiments behind emotive preferences don't win games QUALITY PLAYERS DO. Abeg leave that he was playing at Chelsea talk, we all saw him at Fulham.
