Mbappe = Monaco Nacho = Man city Thank you that on merit. They was a time Tammy was rated over Osimhen here, will you call that overhyped. Even Bojan was at one time rated above Messi. So according to komekn it was about the here and now 😉. |

Yes he was rated above many players when he was at city. Once he dropped in performance, his rating dropped also. |

minfelix: after reading this, i went straight to youtube to watch an extended 8mins highlight of Nigeria v Angola….omo super eagles really played sweet football against some teams at afcon oo 1. Ola Aina break out run and hacked down just in front of box 18 2. resultant free kick leading to osimhen header and its a goal, but ruled out for offside 3. Moses simon beating and dribbling tru the middle two angolan defenders only to play a weak shot at the keeper 4. Osimhen beaten a defender and player a weak shot 5. Lookmans goal so many many beautiful scoring chances to finish of Angola that day…on the other side Angola just had one ball that hit the bar and Nwabali’s save of mabululu close strike….
e get some 9ja match u go dey review dey smile 😃 They are some matches in the recent era you can't help but rewatch. Just watch that Aina assist to ighalo, in my head I'm now debating which is the best assist I've seen. And in no particular order this 3 top my list 1. Mikel assist to ighalo against Cameron 2.Kanu assist to utaka against Cameron 3.Aina assist to Ighalo (can't remember the country) |

Goke7: you are just in a hurry, I never castigated the player, check Emeka's response and compare it to yours, I mentioned faults to balance my point cos many here (am not one of them) have raised their reservations about the player for club and country and not even in a bad light but just areas of concerns and that's where am coming from. It will be a contradiction for me to still go ahead to say how much I love the player cos, unlike others who count their legs when playing for the Eagles Bassey is none of such.
Calm down before you throw stones ok? looks like you were looking for a fight where there was none Mogbe sorry maybe I came in too harsh, but when I saw the despite his faults it throw me off balance like what Obvious faults is he referring to. Bassey is actually one player I love in the SE, so I get your point. |

Goke7: despite his faults, this is one player I love for his dedication, zeal, and commitment when playing for the Eagles. If all other players are like him, our problems are 2/3 solved. Abeg what faults are you referring to. And is there any player that doesn't have a fault or two. If you love a player say you love him, which one is despite his faults like he has been in any controversy |

cromz: Kelechi Ihenacho Kenneth Omeruo Chiedozie Awaziem Wilfred ndidi Victor Boniface Samuel Chukwueze Joe Aribo
If we are to progress the above mentioned players should be excluded from the super eagles with immediate affect. They are of no use to the team and are only occupying space. A mixture of excellent senior players such as Iwobi,Osimen, lookman,Ola Aina,Troost Ekong,Semi Ajayi etc and fresh legs is the way to go if we are to excel. Bro you should have name the replacement along side so we know if we are dropping them for an upgrade or just because we are tired of seeing their face in the Eagles squad. |

ChrisKels: Some people are seriously calling for Boniface to be dropped after just a few matches? Dude has not even had a poor match, but has just been unlucky with goals, yet all these noise? Make una dey calm down.
By the way, I would love to see what Arokodare could bring, because he seems aggressive. I don't think any lover of SE will be calling for Boniface to be dropped entirely from the team. But we are only pointing out the double standard of condemning some SE players over few games and making excuses for Boniface with a worse stat |

chrisooblog: In all fairness Boniface has been given ample playing time facing the likes of Lesotho, Sao Tome, Rwanda, Zimbabwe and he's still yet to find the back of the net so Egbon Kog45 is within his rights to criticize him.
Dessers for all his limitations hasn't enjoying an extended run in the SE yet has goals to his name against solid opposition like Mexico and Ghana. Yes he missed a chance against Mali which forward doesn't? At least he was even in a position to score something I've not seen enough of from Boniface. Yes Victor is obviously more talented but if you can't bring it when it matters most what's the point? You spoke very well Boniface is a more talented player than Dessers and but that's not enough reason to be making excuses for him. As at here and now Dessers has more impact in SE than Boniface. |

TheGoodJoe: The Ike Uche tactics thing was never countered by Uche. It was not a hidden point. The caching crew made it clear that was why he was dropped. He got recalled based on pleas.
Ike Uche was not about complain he wanted Villarreal way against the coaches philosophy. No excuse for that. How would you guys believe such ridiculous claim 😲 ike Uche a professional footballer played for gatafe before going to villareal would want Osaze, emenike, Musa and all to play villareal way and abandon their individual club way 🤦♂️. That's exactly what you guys are saying. |

TheGoodJoe: As Sylvanus Okpala put it. If Liverpool had signed Uche, would he insist for the Liverpool coaching crew that he wants to play the way Villarreal used him? It was pure indiscipline. Okpala was the one explaining all Keshi fraudulent actions. So when Keshi recall him was it because he no longer insisting on team tactics? How will you believe a player insist on the team tactics. Players will normally complain or speak to the coach if they feel they are not being use properly. I good coach will explain to his player why he want him to play in certain position. It's call man management |

ChrisKels: Una dun dey raise stupid arguments over here. So, Amunike was denied for being Igbo? so why was Okechukwu Keshi hired? Why was Christian Chukwu hired? Even Ogochukwu Oliseh even though the efulefu does not know his identity? At age grade, Nduka Ugbade, Amunike, John Obuh.
Since Yemi Tela in 2007 and Onigbinde in 2002 can you name another Yoruba coach and why aren't any Yoruba crying over that? Okay, who are the Fulani coaches or Hausa coaches being hired in place of the almighty Amunike?

Kog45: Look Keshi have seen it all and told Osaze point-blank play my tactics or get out.....the same Osaze that criticized Lagerback for starting Chinedu Obaze ahead of him during 2010 WC,telling whole world that Siasia was not fit to handle Olympics team after the tournament......Osaze talked to much, hope you remember how he almost ruined Kanu marriage But Osaze the talkative and instigator still went to the world cup but ike Uche didn't. In all these, Osaze is still one player that gives his all for the country, one of my favourite Nigeria player. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by zicky(m): 2:15pm On Jan 15, 2025 |
Kog45: Keshi was not, fact if am in Keshi shoe Uche will not make my team.....Uche frustrated Keshi during Afcon. He dropped him for bad influence, criticizing your coach and still want to be part of the team...I thought Osaze made the team..Echiejele replaced Taiwo perfectly.
At the end Keshi reached 2nd round of WC that Westerhoff reached,so nothing like fraud.
Westerhoff and Keshi remain the bests. Yea Keshi remains the best when it comes to achievements with the national team but doesn't change the fact some of the players selected for that world cup were fraud. Ike Uche never had any disciplinary record until that Afcon, his of was criticizing his coach tactics not like he was attacking Keshi personally but his tactics, what wrong with that. That's why in Nigeria when someone criticised reforms of a government we see it as attack on the president. We are all like our leaders. |
