Then Osaze went to the field and refused to play Keshi's tactics, doing what he likes. Leave those guys had strong heads and lacked respect.

Fans cry for them but don't know the headaches they were causing Keshi.
Same Osaze that got us the goal that qualify us for second round.

fraudulent Nigerian?
Bro it was fraudulent ike Uche was one of our highest goal scorer during the qualifiers and also doing very well for his club, Osaze, Taiwo were all doing well but he took Amoebi, uchebo, babatunde, nwafor and that guy that replaced onazi against France. None made any progress after that World Cup

Uche goofed during Afcon by questioning Keshi tactics...Keshi gave Martins the opportunity against Kenya and his performance was damn too poor.....compared Martins and Ameobi performance against Kenya and Italy?
That's exactly our problem every world cup year we have this one player that shines in one friendly and base on that we feel he's better than the ones we had. Ogbeche, Idowu, uchebo, Amoebi comes to mind. I recall he only picked Osaze last minute due to cry from fans.

i wasn't actually referring to performance. I'm pained that Keshi gave that guy a cap when ike Uche and Martin were there. That singular act gave him the bragging right to claim Nigeria ex international.

undecided The natural thing is to quickly hire a coach in the group stage of an ongoing Afcon abi

How is this the same thing with AE/EA case fgs
i use Fae as an example, numerous clubs and countries sack the head coach and the assistant take over. But for Amunike it always different. Who was SE assistant when we failed to qualify for the previous world cup or the last afcon we fail to qualify.

Finidi rode on the high note Peseiro left. For Fae, was the Ivory Coast Football Federation supposed to conduct an interview during a tournament?
😂 You feel all nations conduct that fraudulent interview nff is always conducting. Ena can make excuse, rode on high note but sack the person that took you to the high note then conduct interview and select the assistant of the person that took you to that high note. Make that make sense.

comparing grapes and apples, Amunike was fired alongside Sia1 and the whole crew and Keshi was employed was Keshi a Hausa man? Fae was hired in tournament and that was the sensible thing to do, can’t fire the whole crew during a tournament.
why can't the whole crew be fired since the head coach and his crew were poor according to you. Pls nowhere did I mentioned tribe or ethnicity, I was only pointing out your double standard when it comes to Amunike. Now you find excuse why an assistant shouldn't be fired bt in Amunike case you begin sing different song 🤦‍♂️

You are still making body movement and dancing, but u go soon talk true.
The bolded is one of the techniques he uses to disguise hiss passes.
There are many of them he uses to dribble, shoot, pass etc. that set him and people like him apart
Bro this discussion started when I questioned yahaya inclusion on your list as Nigeria top 10 most skillful player, and you defended your list by saying you have seen him doing a rabona. Now I'm telling you that doing a rabona alone or even a step over is not enough to be rank as most skillful. I give you example of kanu, never seen doing a rabona or step over but we all agree he's one of Nigeria most skillful player.

We have won the U-17 world cup only 5 times since its inception. Amunike has 2: one as assistant coach, another as head coach.

Amunike took a rag-tag Tanzanian team through the AFCON qualifiers and secured the ticket.

Amunike played for top clubs like Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona.

Amunike scored decisive goals that won Nigeria international laurels.

Amunike has a top coaching license.

Stop the hate guys!!
Oga we just hired a new coach and he's yet to play his first game wait for when there's vacancies for the SE job then you can start this Amunike campaign.

I would think that Eguavon is a mockery of the term "technical director" because he clearly is not. He is just a stand-in coach unfortunately.

He is eminently qualified to be one but the hawkish politicians wouldn't allow any reasonable thought to prevail.

I thought it was part of the roles of technical teams to shop for coaches.
Eguavoen should goan coach an NPL side and leave that technical director thing he's doing or better still go for refresher course and stop waiting on the sideline for coaches to be sacked so he can come in as interim.

Oga u said that Ronaldinho is considered the most skillful because of the techniques he uses to executes his skills, I agree with u.

Pls what are the names of those techniques ,I no won hear body movement because it's not a particular technique.

Let's say he want to execute those skills u listed like dribbling, passing and shooting,
What are the names of the techniques Ronaldinho would use in executing his dribbles, passing and shooting that distinct him from others?

This is simple enough.
Dinho was renowned for his close ball control allowing him to navigate tight spaces. his dribbling abilities, free-kick accuracy, his use of tricks, feints, no-look passes, and overhead kicks, as well as his ability to score and create goals. These are all what makes Dinho very skillful. I don't know what you want me to say again. Step overs abi Rabona alone can't make Dinho the most skill player. Finito

No be collabo coachila dem do? 😂😂
Goodjoe is right you don't put the failure of a head coach on the assistant. Finidi was Peseiro assistant and was employed even after sacking peseiro. Ivory Coast hire Fae an assistant to the head coach. But when it comes to Amuneke it all changes, he must also carry the blame. That's why Goodjoe feels there's a conspiracy against Amuneke

I actually meant for u to choose between the second and third question, instead u said above and more.
meanwhile which techniques does he usually apply in executing the "above and more" u meant?
Ronaldinho is more of body movement, For example watch his step over or pass and that of other players, what make his exciting to watch is the body movement

I remember reading about him complaining of not even having food for his U17 team and having to feed the with Cabin biscuits and pure water. NFF. Shaking my head.
Don't you think it's due to lack of organisation from the nff because numerous coaches have face this same issue. Siasia face this at u20 and even the Olympic, so bro it's not ethnic whatever but corruption or lackadaisical attitude of our football managers.

Story. Amunike's case is pure ethnicity. They know he is good. If Amunike was a Northerner or Yoruba man, he would have landed that job in a flash. Let us tell ourselves the truth. That was why his U17 team was the most sabotaged and his U20 suffered the same. That was why they had a cold reception after winning the U17 World Cup.

Unless you have a credible reason, I only see his ethnicity as the problem.
Uhmmm Goodjoe 🤦‍♂️I'll disagree with you. I do place Amuneke in same bracket I put Oliseh. Most of the the guys at nff won't want these guys as coach of SE cos it will be problem for them. Oliseh only got the job due to Pinnick influence.

You agreed that Ronaldinho is the most skillful player of all time.

Now,these questions for u.

1.Why does the world think Ronaldinho is the most skillful footballer?

2.Is it by doing these basic things like heading, shooting, defending, passing and ball control u listed here as skills better than others?

3.Or is it by executing something else more technically challenging and tricky on the pitch?
His technique in executing the above and more as a midfielder. Say for step over he's not the best Robinho and Denilson take that for me.
Rabona Zizou is the baba. But Dinho can do much more.

Pls baba can you explain how ethnicity contributed to inability of Amunike not securing eagles job.....eagles coaching job is above ethnicity o
Amunike not securing SE job have nothing to do with his ethnicity, that's a lame comment. But I feel the NFF don't want to hire Amunike due to some other reasons which has nothing to do with his ability. Maybe he's seen as another Oliseh who's not cool headed.
I listen to an interview of the former nff boss, and he was saying that there are so many things that happen with our indigenous coach which he don't want to mention. And from his tone sound unhappy with finidi, saying he resigned few days to an important match.

Speech might be commonplace but it is very important. It was from his speech that I began to fear for Finidi. In the beginning was the word! After Rohr breezily qualified us for Russia 2018, his speech became diffident and full of excuses.

If the word is not right, everything is likely to go wrong. But I understand that you want action to speak louder than voice.

But like Bishop Fulton Sheen once wrote: speech is the summation of a soul:what it was, what it is and what it will be.

I wish Chelle all the best.
😂 you are right. But for Finidi I was against heis appointment from the start, his speech just added to my conviction. I love Enyimba as a club so I do watch some of their matches and what I saw with Finidi being at the helm of affairs I knew he wasn't ready for SE job.

Ah what is now skills
Ball control, passing, defending, dribbling, shooting, heading are all skills, maybe leg over is the only skills you know which even modern football have done away with. The focus is more on ball control and passing.
CR7 became even more fierce when he reduce the step over
I don't think I've seen Messi doing leg over or rabona before, rarely.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by zicky(m):
Napoleon55:
And what do you understand by "skillful"?
If rabona and stepovers are not part of skills in football, then what is?
They are no longer part of football skills to u only because u have seen too much of them.

When R9 popularized stepovers in the '90s,there was nothing like it.

U go just sit back in ur house downplaying other people's effort with ur phone,
just try to enter pitch a little bit and attempt to perform rabona or stepovers against ur opponents, let's see how far.
step over or rabona are skills but you can't classified someone as most skillful base solely on this just as you did for Yahaya. Have you seen kanu doing Rabona or step overs but everyone will agree he's one of the most skillful (if not the most) player produce by Nigeria. Same way I watch Mikel before his Chelsea days to know he's far more skillful than half of the players on your list.
