forgiveness: And who is disputing he is not a 'Legend'?
What we are saying is Rashidi Yekini is more legendary than Kanu Nwankwo when it comes to Nigerian football. Simple! So playing in Nigeria league makes one more legendary to the other. kan-u believe this smh. Maybe in future we hear something like Stanley okoro is more legendary than Iheancho cos he played in NPFL |

Not surprised at all, your profile doesn't lie you r indeed a woman I hate it when I see some guys use this line "you are woman or lady" in a debate. What have that got to do with the topic of discussion, are you saying you are more knowledgeable than all female when it comes to sports. |

safarigirl: Don't worry, he's not reading my comments, he reads and hears whatever BBC and Brit Press churns out. He's not carried away by hype and keeps his head down.
Whether he becomes a ballon contender or not will not be determined by my faith in him, but his faith in himself and his abilities. I did not say Kelechi is better than Sanchez, but please, Aguero is certainly closer to a ballon d'or than Sanchez is
Bros, very few people take Kelechi as serious as I do, I know how many debates I've had on his account on social media, most people here haven't even bothered that much. Mikel and Kelechi are two players I'm very much invested in, so no, I doubt you take him as seriously as I do.
You question his talent when he's pitted against some of your favorite players, I never question him. If you know how sad I get when he doesn't get a goal or an assist in a game, that's exactly how I feel when Nigeria loses a match.
It's very personal for me abeg, you no like am reach me good sense of patriotism, proud follower of NPFL |

safarigirl: Iwobi is a more used player. Kelechi would ne starting if he was in Arsenal.
The more frequent player is usually the better eventually. Me thinks Kelechi should look for another team next Season because City won't use him like he should be used, Gabriel Jesus comes in January and he'll be seeing even less games
As for CAF APOTY, both of them hsve at least 2 seasons to go for that I watched Iwobi yesterday and I was impress with the guy all round play, that guy is good. |

ChrisKels: Dailymail columnist Sami Mokbel who dropped news of unrest in the Chelsea dressing room, has dropped a big hint suggesting players of Chelsea want Manager Antonio Conte to sacrifice N’Golo Kante for Mikel Obi. Mikel has been frozen out by the manager since his return from the Rio Olympics, a situation which has reportedly turned some of the players against the manager. Big summer signing N’Golo Kante according to the players appears to have killed a bit of their ability to turn defence to attack due to his passing limitations unlike the Nigerian. The Nigerian is into the final year of his Chelsea contract after 11 years at the club, and the midfielder has already outlined his intention to try something new in his career if he isn’t offered a contract extension. Some fans of the club were reportedly signing the midfielder’s name in their loss to Arsenal urging the manager to reinstate the 29 year old into the team to stem the tide of their recent slump. Branislav Ivanovic post match revelation that players of the team didn’t believe in the manager’s pre match instructions before they were hammered 0-3 by Arsenal, showed the level of distrust between the manager and the players. goldfish80: Rangers is the Beginning and the end for me. Rangers is the club of my life. Whenever I watch Rangers play am filled with passion and out of the world emotions. What Rangers all white Jersey means alot to me. Its more than just a Jersey. I believe you understand what I mean. I died a little when we were denied the league diadem by Kano pillars and the Nff board room conspiracy some seasons back. I frankly don't know how to celebrate this victory. I feel. Like somersaulting from here to Enugu. Victory is sweet! Up Rangers! Up Rangers! Up Rangers! Up Rangers! am so happy for Rangers not just for winning the league bt their style of play and the passion from their fan. It was even trending on twitter, sad the club I support Heartland might just get relegated |

Orkpekyandega: FIFA Rankings: Nigeria move up, World Cup rivals drop https://africanfootball.com/bp_images/2016/09/N16ICKA0822w.jpg Victor Moses of Nigeria (left) against Tanzania during a 2017 AFCON Qualifier
Nigeria moved three spots in the latest FIFA rankings released today, while 2018 World Cup rivals Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia slipped in the ratings.
Nigeria are now 64th in the world after they were 67th the previous month.
They are also 14th in Africa.
The slim 1-0 at home against Tanzania earlier this month will account for this upward climb.
Zambia, who will host Nigeria next month in final round of the qualifying series for the World Cup, are now 92nd in the world after they occupied 91st position in August.
Cameroon, who are also drawn against Nigeria in the World Cup qualifiers, dropped five places to 59th in the world.
Algeria slipped to 35th in the world and lost top spot in Africa to Cote d’Ivoire. http://africanfootball.com/news/647522/FIFA-Rankings-Nigeria-move-up-World-Cup-rivals-drop
Does the fifa ranking has something to do with the countries coach, cause this recent climbing up the ranking ladder is not clear to me. |

Former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has opposed the idea of her accepting a political appointment from President Muhammadu Buhari. She said she has proudly served the nation to the best of her ability for seven years, and will not take any offer to serve in the Nigerian government again.
Speaking as a guest on Al-Jazeera, Okonjo-Iweala said she has learnt to talk less as she has grown older.
When was asked if she would take a position in the Buhari administration if offered, she said: "I served my country for seven years and it was a great honor. The second time was very tough but it is still an honor. I am not the only person who is a repository of knowledge. There are other people who can equally try their hands in running the economy."
"One of the things you learn as you get wiser is to talk less as you grow older. I have spent my time contributing to the country. It will be better to leave those managing the economy to do what they know how to do. There can be solutions," she added.
