Anderson of Brazil was the star of the 2005 U17. He was the best player, went on to join FC Porto and later Manchester United. Anderson before joining Manchester United won the Copa America with Brazil. I think he even wore the Ten shirt in the Brazil squad while Ronaldinho was not invited.

Marcelo was not the famous star in that same Brazilian 2005 U17 squad. Today he is far bigger and successful than Anderson.

In terms of height, not many grow after 18. They can become more muscular or fatter but no change in height.

In my secondary school, only 2 people obviously grew taller after we graduated from a class of almost 100.

Height change is simply the best way to calculate age. Drastic height increase only happens between 15-22 for most people. He must be in his teens in 2010...look at the height difference.
