Losing to ikorodu in owerri was the cause of their going on relegation. I pray the Naze millionaires come back stronger.

Do you know they have not paid money owed the players for the last match? Do you know they are yet to pay the money owed the players for the Olympics? That these same officials took themselves and their families to Brazil in the name of supporting the athletes? Do you know there is still controversy over how the NFF cornered the money the Japanese surgeon gave the players and coaches? Do you know Siasia has said NFF has money to pay them but has refused? That he said as a coach he understands if a player does not want to play for the national team? That he said he would sue the Federation for constantly reneging on their promises? That he can no longer work with those running our football right now?

See...it's very convenient to blame the players and leave the federation. That's what Nigerian fans do. All they want is to watch the players running on the field, it doesn't matter to them if the players are fed or doing alright psychologically.
Huh! You know so much. We've always hip blame on Nff cheesy, yes nff is bad, nff is corrupt, nff is this and that what has nff done to Success, are owing Success any bonus before now, first time he was invited to the Senior squad after all the cry from fans

The way we make absurdity equal normalcy is beyond comprehension. Is it the responsibilities of players to buy their own tickets? We are being told that Lawmakers have joined some NFF officials to travel to Ndola, yet the same people cannot pay for the player's flight from his base.

The way we reason sometimes. So because Mikel and others bought their own tickets means it is the right thing to do and thus the international career of Success who refused should be finished?

Success didn't fall your hand, it's the NFF that has falled your hand.
I thought Nff said something about paying back and the Officials traveling with the squad are paying from their pocket

Without a shadow of a doubt can u tell me that Isaac Success had the money in his account? Maybe like the NFF his money takes time to process. My point is u can't make demands on money that isn't urs.
Isaac not having in his account is a lame defense, I believe if truly he has no money and communicated it to the fa, am something would have been done. its too early for him to start this way, when Agbo the late invitee was able to make it to camp.

According to Africanfootball.com, Isaac Success did not come because he refused to buy his own ticket. The injury story might just have been a cover.
Is these for real? The guy don fall my hand, when mikel, musa, ikeme could buy theirs, Success international career I haf finish.

It is not pull him down, it is facto. grin

Someone was trying to pull down Yakubu Aiyegbeni because of his miss. Is that pull him down?

But because I made it clear that king Kanu Nwankwo was crowned the king of miss of the season.

She took it tribal.

Well... Well I don't worry about social media talk talk. grin
we are talking about the greatness of two players, you know the latter end of your hero Yekini nobody is saying anything about it because its was not part of the discussion. If you live in glass house, dntt throw stones.

Looooolllllll...... *here's my current thread destination stop* lollll

Happy new day to you Sir Justiz5... smiley

Good to read your comments again. And yep.... I'm just laughing at the Zambians. Actually you don't blame them... Do you? Lolll...
They have to gather morale from somewhere, somehow, you know... wink

Truth is, "they are kinda scared"

They saw Mikel at Rio 2016. They see Vic Moses, Nacho, Iwobi, Ighalo, and Success every weekend in the Epl...

They are so glad Isaac, Victor Moses and Ighalo won't show up due to reasons known to us.

I hope to see us beat them in Ndola so as to send a message to the rest of Africa.

Beating Zambia and winning our next game afterwards will gradually bring back "the fear factor" usually associated with the name "SUPER EAGLES" and make our opponents shiver even before we step onto the pitch.

We need to win. We need to try and qualify for Russia 2018. But We also need that fear factor back in full force.... smiley

The battle of Ndola.... Can't wait to see the "movie" wink
The Zambia game is a must win, we need to remove the mentality of drawing away and winning home, I believe this is the easiest of our away games

you forget that Nigeria did not participate at the 96 & 98 Nations cup when Kanu was at his best, I believe the story would've been different, the team could have easily win three straight Nations cup

Please... I honestly didn't wanna pick on this. It's a shame how people use certain details to pull down Kanu and others but turn a blind eye to what you just pointed out.

I saw this and knew this all along but I believe in keeping a debate like this fair and not an avenue for pulling down people.

I refuse to use this route Forgiveness was using on Kanu. Like I said, I don't wanna dim the lights on the achievements of our legends.

Pls, let's not dim Yeking's lights. He was a legendary beast in front of goal but the truth must be said. Yekini isn't Top 3 in Nigerian legends football folklore. Wonder why that is so hard to "see". Records don't lie... Or do they?
I totally agree with you Sir, Yekini was a great player though no my type of striker just like Emenike. I read somewhere the Yekini was booed while playing his last match for Nigeria, I don't know how true

....maybe if you would stick to the topic rather than going on a crusade to save the reputation of your 'people', this thread would have some sanity to it.

I don't know why it's paining you this much that it's Kanu that has the title of Nigeria's Greatest, maybe you would have slept better knowing it was Yekini or Odegbami or someone whose name you could better relate to?

I know a lot of people intentionally try to keep this out of the conversation so as not to cause trouble, but more often than not, your baseless arguments tend to tilt in favour of a certain tribe.

It was Rivaldo. Boy, that guy was a real Baller. There was also Juninho and Flavio Conceicao.

Any one that puts Qualification of the USA 1994 World Cup bigger than Atlanta is joking. The Atlanta '96 win had different African leaders coming to Nigeria to congratulate the President. It was so big that almost every major Street in Nigeria was flooded with people.

People jogged from heart of Port Harcourt to Aba and back. Come on guys. That is cheap.
Thanks, I was in Makurdi then, they was no light in the barrack, I remembered very well how the officers mess was filled with Men, Women, Children, I actually thought it was the finals of the competition.

I don't want it to look as if someone bringing Yekini down, but the truth is yes Yekini was a good striker, Keshi a good defender, Jayjay a good midfielder bt Kanu is just the greatest, after winning the U-17 and the league with Heartland( iwuanyawu), Ajax bought direct from Heartland, Ajax of then one of the best club in Europe with world class players like kluivert, van der sar, Edgar Davids, frank de boer, overmars, not forgetting Finidi, coached by Van Gaal. He missed it. Sorry. grin
. In Tunisha 2004 he scored, lolzzzz. Even your. Conscience know you lie about the Atlanta celebration being less celebrated to the USA 94 goal, everybody was on the street, Nigeria even gat to form a song just for that match, the opponent- Brazil, players - Bebeto, romario, Ronaldo de Lima. Coming for 3-1 down, you forgot it was a golden goal I.e the goal was golden on its own lolzzzzz

1. Yekini's goal against Bulgaria (Nigeria's historic 1st at the world cup)

2. Kanu's goals against Brazil at Atlanta 96.

(Ohhh Lord.... But this is Forgiveness... We know his answer already... Looollll...) But answer all the same... Me I'm done with the debate.. Just answer.
even old men celebrated the goal scored by "tatas" more to the one scored by their fellow. Kanu won so many penalties for Nigeria during Afcon, if he wanted to score nothing stop him from taking one. Papilo, King Kanu

fifa has always been biased in giving individual awards based on club form than country.
For example, George Weah came second behind Ronaldo in the 1996 award purely based on his exploits with Ac Milan, whatever he did with Liberia was not in the blue print atall obviously because war-torn Liberia, I strongly doubt played any international game durring that period.

Kanu didn't get on the top 10 list because of his Olympics form, but because of his exploits at ajax. Ask yourself this question, had kanu been playing for Slovan liberec and he won the Olympics gold medal, will he have been considered in a FIFA merit list of top 10 world best in 1996? I need an honest answer
Olympic was part of it, don't forget finidi was part of the Ajax team but Kanu won the APOTY and was included in world top 10, if it was base on club form alone then finidi won come before Kanu that year
