Exactly Aminalib, my point proven. Thats why Nigerian women should stop painting Zimbabweans wif the same brush. So what their men are going for Zim girls, its just part of like they all need to get over it. Case closed.

And by the way, I am not too bothered abt looking corny and foolish on a Naija Forum lol, like thats supposed to mean anything.

there's no currency in Zimbabwe. what are you talking about?

anyways, what happened in Tunisia isn't needed in Nigeria. We already have a democracy, though extremely flawed. the key is refining it and making the democracy better not another overthrow of an overthrow, we went through that era with poor results.

tunisians didn't even have a democracy, thats what they were mad about. If they had a bad leader they would suffer under bad leadership for the next 70 years until that guy died.

in nigeria if we have a bad leader we have the right to demostrate and vote them out, so lets improve our access to this right. that's the key.
dont be daft

yes there is no local currency but it doesnt mean everything collapsed that there no more roads, rail, etc

@ bandit

you are missing the point yes nigerian is richer than zimbabwe but nigeria infrastrature is not even close to zimbabwe

am talking of infrastrature and other services not the country's GDP

Interesting thing is that the poster Playmode and his supporter, blacksta are doing thier thing outside the country but they want Nigerians back home to sacrifice their lives.
Mr Poster, you can begin by coming home first and start making plans for the revolution. It is easy to talk when you are outside the country. Come home and start first before you can have moral justification to ask for a revolution!!

On the prices of real estate you mentioned, what you have there is a cool business opportunity. Why not start by coming home to Nigeria and building cool homes like the ones in your picture and sell at the 60 Million its sold in Johannesburg. At least you would definitely have loads of clints given the prices properties with less value are sold in Lagos.

My point: Stop talking from outside! Come home and fix your country!!!
things have to be favourable for him/her to came back we have the same problems in zimbabwee whereby the zanu guys(mugabe's party) are saying people abroad should come to develop zimbabwe but things on the ground are not easy if you want to start anything thats looks lucrative ZANU guys want to be part of it you have to bribe them or align with them

everyday we now get eletricity cuttings, water cuts here and there poor rubbish collection  what business would want to run in such conditions

Bandit C.:
Lol. Look at this not-so-smart person Zim Drill. Accept defeat from who exactly? Zimbabwe? You must be a clown. Zimbabwe, a hunger ridden country with a dictatorial babbon as her leader is now being compared to Nigeria, where an average person could afford a three square meal and some decent life.

Sorry but the person above you is on point. The saving grace of these southern African countries are the whites as you blacks over there are extremely lazy and lackluster in nature. Crawl back into your hole when a real discussion about my country is going on, your opinion is not needed rather offer it to the goons ruling over your own country to achieve a better life.

At least we are now beginning to see what these southern african countries would be like in the future now that the whites are no more ready to help them.

Say and believe whatever crap you like about Naija but it is one of the few countries in the world that grows year after year since the arrival of democracy in 1998. Let's compare growth indices between Nigeria and all those irrelevant countries listed above with so called modern cities. Lmao @ Kenya, Zimbabwe and Zambia being compared to Nigeria now.

Why don't you compare Malawi and Nigeria while you are at it. Lol.
the truth hurts

you cant compare infrastructure in nigerian and zimbabwe  you have to play check up, yes they have been droughts and political unrest that i cant deny but that doesnt mean we have destroyed our infrastructure that you can start to compare zimbabwe and nigerian or nigeria and south africa

even zimbabwe gives respect to south africa it has good networks from rail, roads, airports   now you are starting to count from 1998  but you have been free for 50 years who do you blame the whiteman or the blacks for slow development ?
PoliticsRe: If Only Nigeria Could Be Like This by ZIMDRILL(m): 5:02pm On Jan 17, 2011
Akhenaten:
Sorry, but the cities you listed were created by white settlers, not indigenous Africans.

The reason why Southern Africa does not resemble other parts of Africa is, because the white settlers never left your countries. That is the only reason why.

Compare Nigeria with an African nation, that didn't have white settlers. Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya and South Africa all had white settlers that never left those countries.

Most African states, started off from scratch, so do not give us that nonsense.
why is that some nigerians always play the card above i.e would either say south africa or zimbabwe is not african enough becoz of whites living in those and the development that has being done and left by whites ?

so UK should not claim much about LONDON becoz it was founded by the ROMANS ?

sometimes you should just accept defeat than finding excuses for nigeria to be number 1

Hi Tech guys

Just trying to help my aunty here, she got a netbook so abandoned here working Laptop for about a month or so
So yesterday she tried using the laptop, it came on for about 5minutes or so then the battery started blinking, we plugged in the charger but it still went off. so i told her to charge it for some hours then try again- though i notice the charging light doesnt even come on, so up till now it still wont come up, the only light that comes on is the one by the battery pack but it seems its not getting to the laptop itself or is the batter dead?
roughly i would say something wrong with charger find and try another same model charger by that we can tell if the problem with charger or pc

@Atriedes
Don't mind some of d posters here they are unmarried n so have no experience of wat family responsibilities are.
Any reasonable woman will expect those things u've outlined n any reasonable man knows it's his duty.
If my wife somehow earns more money dan I it will not b a cause to now shirk my responsibility n tell her to pick d tab.
Look its about time everyone realises dat men n women are not on equal footing.
you are missing the point

also the main issue was girls expecting things from a guy (taking care of her topping her phone buying her gifts etc)

married people put resources together and take care of each other not the wife only expecting, she also needs to do her part

@Zim drill, whether i have a career or not(P.s-i WILL have a career),whether i'm earning 10 milla or not, whether i'm working in C.B.N or not,it is my husband's responsibility to take care of me for as long as he is able to.
ok lets say he aint a millionare and your working if it is his responsbility only where does your money go ?

@ZIm drill,i didnt say i expected a boyfriend to take care of me. I said i expected a HUSBAND to do that.
once it marriage thats a different ball game dear both of you are expected not only the husband

no man would want a wife who only expect things eg in zimbabwe where i came from most guys now want a wife who has a bit of education meaning she can get a job and contribute to providing something one table  guys are nolonger interested in the traditional wife

and also woman are also more focused on edacation and career in case that husband dies young and she would be able to provide for remaining family since she has education/career

Smh. . . Tsk tsk. . What do i expect from a boyfriend that is soo much? Credit every now and then? Buying me gifts? Paying for our dates? Are you seriously saying that's too much? I do not expect hair allowance, feeding allowance, clothing allowance, rent, fuel money etc from a boyfriend-that would be unfair. I expect all that from a HUSBAND. As for my husband, when he marries me,he becomes Head of the house. . What kind of head would he be if he didn't take care of me? The minute he marries me,feeding, clothing and housing are HIS reponsibility. Solely HIS. If i,in the goodness of my heart, decide to contribute, that's a different thing. If,also,he doesn't have the money for one reason or the other, again, that's a different thing entirely. Feeding, clothing and housing are HIS responsibility. If saying that makes me a gold-digger,then im okay with that.
its not too much if you are also treating him like that, the type of woman we are talking about only think of themselves and they cant even afford to treat you the way you do to them have ever heard of woman who say there are high maintence, most they aint becoz they cant live that life on their own but they need someone to feed that high maintence

a relationship is about treating each other not maintaining a partner

a marriage thats the one, one can maintain a family i.e him/her providing then one looking after carefully what has been provided

Most guys are d cost of this. . . They'll put money for front with big talks and stuff. . . What'd you expect the girl to do? Then when she ask for small thing you'll say that girl is a gold digger.
you can say that again

i always tell most nigerians who complain of there woman of loving money and presents

there are a product of your own making, on average most  nigerians in UK use money to ask a girls out they flush buying this and that to be seen

hence thats why NIGERIANS say "TO WOO  A GIRL''when you mean ASKING OUT, an animal is the one which is wooed (giving a monkey a banana in order to ctach it ), to gain your trust not a wo/man, let him/her love/like you for who you are
