A friend called me this evening and said school holidays have been extended till Feb. 1. Just watched on NTA News the confirmation that Public and Private Schools have been closed till Jan 30th.

I don't see why schools have to be closed for voters registration. Especially since most of the school children are not of voting age (Primary/Secondary)
Where do they expect parents to put the children for the extra 3 weeks?

I am disappointed the government could take a decision like this.

i dont know about nigeria but in zimbabwe normally civil servants i.e teachers does the voters registration so it makes sense if there using the teachers

i got masef anoda problem oooo

there is a hp g6000 laptop with me, right now it does not power/turn on wit either battery or its adapter. weneva i press the power button it just flashes lights and nothing else (wont come on)

ps: i finally went ahead and bought masef a new adapter 4 ma dell inspiron

Did you try this, take off the battery and plug in charger and see if it turns on


and hooking it up to extenal monitor just in case it might be the its monitor playing up

JAMB is the only examination body that conduct examination into higher institution in Nigeria, which means that if you want to attend any higher institution in Nigeria you will have to pass through JAMB(JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD) examination. There is this new system of biometric scanner(fingerprint) that was introduced in this year online registration & if you don't have a scanner you can't register! About the CD how do you think i can copy the content please 'cos anytime i get to that particular folder i want to copy the system just keep hanging until the CD is ejected from the drive. Help.

TRY TO DO A COPY OF IT it works if the CD is not badly scratched

Here is my situation.

I'v been in this relationship for about 5years now. We did our introduction a couple of weeks ago. We were both working in Lag but his job was a rather low paying one. Very low indeed but he was doing it in order not to be idle. Mine on the other hand was quite ok but when I got a transfer to Abuja, my pay was significantly increased.

We planned settling in Abuja. We took this decision cos my job is far better and it can fend for us pending the time he'll be on his feet. I am presently staying wit an aunt but I'v started making plans of getting an accommodation. On second thought, I called him that since we intend settling down soon, It's better we rent a place for that purpose. He agreed to this. His initial plan was to stay with his friend or brother on arrival but when i brought up the idea of renting a place he felt he'll rather be there. My concern is this, when i raised d issue of paying the rent he said he doesnt have any money to contribute that he's totally flat. (He resigned last month so that he'll be in Abj in a couple of days time). This got me wondering, I hope I'm not going too far. What this means is that i will pay d rent alone and possibly furnish it alone. And you know, accomodtion is highly expensive here.

Before now, I'v had this nagging feeling of him being too comfortable with me footing my bills and his sometimes. This now compounds the whole thing. Personally, I need to rent a place cos I'm tired of squatting but should that be at no cost for him while I bear it all alone?

girl you did think through the whole sitaution you asked him to join you meaning he will leave the job and yet there is not job for him in abuja so how is he going to pay the rent ?

Please help, i have being trying to install the JAMB offline software that came with my biometric scanner, the CD will open when i insert it into the computer but whenever i get to the offline folder the setup file just won't open. I have tried all the computer(CD, DVD, writer) i have none will install it. Help ohh.

is it a normal folder or zipped one (compressed with winzip or winrar)

why is that most nigerian who come to this section with problems always rush to format the harddrive

well the problem is low RAM memory, vitsa needs atleast 1gig RAM and above to work better and fast

was working on my laptop toshiba satellite p4. all of a sudden, it hang and brought a message on the screen saying error detected and that i need to restart. l did and it brought an message that system cannot start up, gave options like safe mode, start with last working setting and start window automatically. l tried all but the response was that it keeps booting for 5 meetings and will later go off and bring back same mssg. pls what can i do to rectify the error?

. Toshiba A45 S P4 Satellite. Ms window. was running Nl, pdf and Ms word. it just would not boot completely. it goes back to safe mode request from start up

if you got the OS disc change the boot sequence to CD/DVD that should solve booting errors in the harddrive

what do you mean to try to use it for registration ?

did you by any chance delete the public folder in your pc if you are using windows 7?

i used to have problems with subnetting  especially the one you are given an IP address and asked to create network that has numbers of host eg Network A 15, Network B 34, Network C 20, Network D 7 and Network E 3, now am good but it was once a hassle

I have CBT nuggets for 70-680 already, so, I know a little bit about the objectives.

Dont let it be doomed man. Get the CBT nugget videos and do a lot of practice tests like Boson and measure up, you can do it in 3 weekends but its not
easy.

CBT nuggets is the best for tutorials but you need visual exam suite to do practical exams

which one do you mean you can do in 3 weeks ?
