I married my wife knowing quite well she's not a fantastic cook but i thought when we get married and she does the cooking more often she will improve but i was wrong as it becomes worsefrom bad everyday. its of either the soupy is tasteless or watery or the semo is like pap sweetended with plenty sugar, rice mostly saltless, beans- dnt even go there. Any time i make complains she takes offence and say i dnt appreciate her effort but the most painfully aspect is that i hadly want to eat outside the home, so whatever she serves me as dinner when i get home from work happens to be the only meal i have in a day which ends up being pathetic most times, though am already toying with the idea of having me fill before going home but i dnt really want to do that for the sake of jeopardizing my home and my pocket. pls what do i do.

Hello fellow nairalanders.
Recently; i made attempt to upgrade my operating system from Vista premium 32 bit to window 7 ultimate 32bit.
I purchased the software at computer village. Installation was successful with movement of original operating system and other files from recovery
partition D to window.old. The recovery partition D was empty without any documents. It works well; but i discovered that my HP quick launch button and HP support softwares are no longer works with DVD player. I can play DVD with window media player on window 7 but only small portion of my screen(15.4inch) was occupied on playing despite on full screen view. I tried to update my drivers through window update in order to resolve above problems. Unfortunately; the window 7 software is not genuine and desktop screen was turned to black.
My laptop is HP pavillion dv5-1153ei. My questions are these.
1.Is there any means of removing the dark background from my screen? If Yes; how?
2. Can i change back to original vista from recovery partition that has been moved to window.old? Mind you; i bought it fairly use without the softwares
3. How can l make the video to cover the whole of my screen while playing DVD?

@deji2009,contd.so when he finish changing it to win 7,i was happy coz it didnt do like dt again,but when i try to watch a movie from that windows.old,it went back again to its formal condition,atimes if i put it on it wil do as if it want to load vista but it wil later change to win 7 stil in dt same condition all this was on sunday,so i took the system to another friend who knws abt software,after he acces my pc,he said it was a virus problem,coz he was also able to restore it and he even instal some software like registry mechanic,bt as soon as i opens windows.old to watch movies,my pc hangs and i press the power botton bt to my dismay it again went to that same condition,at this point he said formating it is the only solution,bt what really bothers me is that would formating d pc solve the problem once and for all,pls i would glad if u response as soon as posible coz am in need of my pc,pls suggest what am suppose to do at dis junctn,my email is-vicshow2001@yahoo.com,b4 i forget some1 said dt i should clean d memory with spirit,bt i did it and it stil remains same.tnx

@deji2009,thanks for your support and response,i should have given u feed back earlier than dis,so let me start frm saturday,approximately 15min the guy restore it,it went back to its formal condition,so i took it again to a computer science major in my sch,bt he said he hadnt cme acros any problem like dt,bt he said that we shuld start frm somewhere,so he suggested dt i change my vista to win 7,dt it might corect d problem,bt i told him dt i dont want to lose my project and seminal materials,so he said that he will do it in such a way that i would be able to acces my files in windows.old,so i agree but

i used hp pavilion dv2000,when i on d sys dis morning it displays dis and divide it into 7 places with a blue background,-a problem as been detected and was nt able to boot.nv4_m1n1.sys.page_fault_in nonpage_area.if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,restart your computer.if dis screen appears again.follow these steps:check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.if this is a new installation,ask your hardware or software manufacturer for windows update you might need.then it nw display dis at d botom?collecting data for crash dump, initializing disk for crash dump, pls what can i do.i av restart d sys several times and its stil d same.tnx

u can try it urself and see open hp.com goto support then type dv5 select the first wat u will see next is os for vista and xp or if it gets beta hola me plz.

just go to hp website and download d drivers for your system

the drivers @ hp.com are only for vista and xp os.i hav downloaded d drivers they did not wok.

you are missing it

you can find driver by the OPERATING SYSTEM  you have

so you mean hp com doesnt have drivers for windows 7

My computer is used by me and my bros but some time his friend will also use my computer. I have many secret or document which I cannot share with other.That's why I want to lock(password lock) the drive which i can used. If any one have know about this please help me.
