Dear NNPC, Please forgive me and other Nigerians for helping you look for your missing $20billion instead of minding our 'own business '. We were misled by the following : 1. Sanusi; who said "your money " was missing when you, "the owner" has not said "your money" is missing. 2. APC; who said the money must be accounted for when you "the owner " is not complaining. 3. House of Representatives ; who said you should account for all your income since the past 5yrs. Now that you're angry with us and we have felt your anger in the petrol stations around the country (fuel scarcity) , the 3 groups that put us in this problem with you have not said anything and don't have any alternative. We have no other choice but to ask you for forgiveness. Please give us fuel. You are aware that your sister, PHCN is also angry with us for how she was sold and has since refused to give us power. My fear is that if you don't do something urgent now that our brothers in the north are still busy killing people, our brothers in the south may use the small fuel left in their homes to set a few "things" ablaze and Fire Services don't even have fuel and water to respond. We promise not to ask you about "your missing money" again if you can resume fuel supply. God is watching all of us oh! |

i still dont know y dis boko haram is still a nuisance, most of them are not even well trained, just shoemakers and herdsmen and jobless youths who have d strength to carry firearms. Is our military not capable enough? Though personally i think they are trying, but if provided with more weapons and intel, we will defeat them. |

Nemesis caught up with a suspected member of a notorious robbery gang, Olumide Asiyanbi, as the Oyo State police command caught up with him while exchanging marital vows at a marriage registry in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. Asiyanbi presently in police custody said he joined the gang a year ago and that he had taken part in 10 robbery operations during which he fired gun shots at their victims. “I was arrested on my wedding day. I met the gang leader, James Agba, last year. He told me that he knew how we could be getting regular money. He then initiated me into the gang. I have taken part in at least 10 operations since I joined them. “We used gun but I don’t know where James was buying them. Sulaimon and Alhaji, who are also in the gang, know how the guns were bought for our operations. I have fired shots at our targets but none was killed,” he said. THISDAY gathered that another gang member simply identified as Agba who hailed from Delta State said he purchased some of the guns from one Emeka in Abuja. But Asiyanbi, who hails from Ile-Ife in Osun State, said he was at the marriage registry when the long hands of the law caught up with him. He was suspected be a member of a six- man-robbery gang who operated in Challenge area of Ibadan on April 23, 2015. Speaking on the development, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina, said the robbers, which included a 62-year- old Ghanaian, had terrorised many residents of the area with guns and other weapons. The Ghanaian, Joseph Mate, said he was a security man in Ajibade area of Ibadan and that he had been living in Nigeria for many years. The Deputy Consul-General of the U.S. Consulate- General in Lagos, Mrs Dehab Ghebreab, on Wednesday said 40 young Nigerians have been selected to participate in this year’s Mandela Washington Fellowship. Ghebeah disclosed this to newsmen on the sidelines of a pre-departure orientation programme for the beneficiaries at the Consulate’s premises in Lagos.
