It's not about what the Supreme court tags Fubara, it's about what the constitution allows the President to do
Both are inextricably connected Sir/Ma. In my view.
Politics › Re: Tinubu To GEJ: Emergency Rule - Don't Tinker With Governors mandates (May 2013) by zoedew: 7:28am On Mar 19, 2025
Tinubu had no Constitutional basis for saying all he said back then. Everyone knows that was opposition politics. It's like Atiku talk.
Politics › Re: Video Of When Rivers Government Demolished The State House Of Assembly (2023) by zoedew:
Exactly. Huge waste of public funds. The commentators supporting the demolition were deceiving themselves. Someone here has abused me to high heavens for saying Sim demolished the RVSHA Legislative Chambers mala fides. Rivers folks are politically docile- how dare you demolish such a structure! That Governor will lose his sleep!! In their ignorance they celebrated sacrilege!! They don't understand that the Legislature is the people unlike the Executive that is just one man and the Judiciary that is just one Judge sitting. The Legislature represents THE PEOPLE! Sadly they don't understand the concept!! But No! For the hatred of Wike they were prepared to be ruled by a despot who does not know his right from his left politically. Sim is a babe politically. That office was too huge for him to handle. Wike committed a huge political error backing Sim for Governor. He probably wanted a neophyte he could control! Sim cracked in Wike's handset and lost network! Sim is now a militant. He is not even a militant leader . He lacks the balls. The creeks are now his residence. From Government House to the Creeks!

did gej suspend any governor over state of emmagency
GEJ is not an example of a leader to follow. The casualties of BH would not have been that much but for the weakness and aloofness of GEJ and the clannishness of Buhari.

Gej didn't suspend the governor and assembly. Besides, there was an actual insurgency going on.
Rivers State has our oil. We need access to the oil. They can continue with the tug of war pulling the cow from both ends of its frame while we milk the cow. Blow up pipes. We will still earn oil revenue but your environment will be polluted. Get some sense.. ss 2,3,4, and 6 already obtain in Rivers State and warrants a State of Emergency. If it is RVSG money and largesse for the next NBA AGC that you are trying to secure hear this .... Otilo!

Fubara has shown he cannot be trusted to safely govern the state and the Supreme Court has been clear on that. The Supreme Court tagged Fubara a despot! Please stop playing to the gallery. an Administrator has to be in charge of the State.

Wickedlywicked:
So for your mind like this, he did the wrong thing? What should a President who knows the powers he wields do in a situation like this? Fold his arms and watch on like some powerless entity? Why exactly are you crying dude? Man suspended every elected person in both the execute and legislative arms and you’re still complaining. It’s a pity that Fubara is just too naive and fell into their trap too easily. This is like seeing an elderly person punishing the two parties involved in a fight. If a fight erupts in a State between any of the 3 arms of government making up the state and the effects and consequences is sensed to affect the national security and peace, the President has every right to act because such a State lacks a government and it’s the President that’s saddled with the responsibility of filling such void.
Besides, the oil revenue is important to the rest of the country. Blow up the pipelines the oil revenue will still accrue to the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Nigeria but the folks blowing up the pipes and their locality will suffer the ensuing pollution which will take decades to remediate with funds that could have been put to better use for them. Diseases and ill-health that accompany oil pollution will not be felt in Katsina! Be wise Fubara militants!

Not Wike but Fubara Sir. Fubara was half-hearted in obeying the Supreme Court. He said nothing when the pipeline was blown up. That gave room for the President to intervene. Fubara was both stupid and foolish in the extreme!

He has not been in tv lately and I can’t help thinking that he is avoiding the cameras.

Good! Great! Rule of Law must prevail not uninformed sentiments.
1. Spending public funds without appropriation.
2. Making political appointments without clearances by the RVSG.
Rivers folks don’t appear to understand that they are indeed the Rivers State House of Assembly Gov Fubara has treated with so much contempt pulling down the sitting Chamber!

JASONjnr:
Christianity in the West isn't practiced like the Christianity in Nigeria.....

In the west, it's like a place of love and belonging..... No hate, not division.....it's all about Christ and his preachings. Especially if you go to the white Christian churches .... You fellowship and have a break to eat, drink or rest and continue again......

But in Nigeria, they will keep you in the church hungry from 8am to 4pm.... While they carefully collect all your money.
You got what you deserved. No one is forced to go to church. It is by choice. It is incumbent on the individual to ensure that the church he chooses to attend has practices that syncs with The Bible he has read. Most folks in church don’t read their Bible.

The NYSC shares similarities with a military commission. You don’t make complaints public in a military commission. In a military commission you complain to your superior and carry out your commission as is. The alternative is to resign the commission. In the matter of the NYSC her complaints should be in-house and never public.
Politics › Re: Rivers Government, Assembly At War Over Budget Presentation by zoedew:
Fubara, clearly was not about presenting a budget that day but was out for a publicity stunt. Even if he later went Ogoni about 2pm same there is no evidence that he sent an advance party to the RVSG to show that he really meant to go there to present the budget. There is evidence that his advance party was at Ogoni ahead of his 2pm arrival there. Fubara behaves childishly. Did he invite pressmen. Budget presentation is a big event!

Very simple solution the Federal Government has refused to implement which is to ban open grazing of cattle in Nigeria. Once done the Fulani who constitute the majority of the folks who kidnap others for ransom will be reined in.
