You are absolutely correct and you are certainly highly gifted cerebrally as I can infer from your submissions and your manner of presentation but I’m just basing my personal convictions on the matter so far on the information available in the public at this moment. Of course beliefs can change as new facts emerge. That’s all I’m saying.
I thank you for your time Sir/Ma.

Typical African blaming the west for their problems. You have a rebel group who are Congolese attacking their country and their fellow country men just to secure resources to sell to the west and keep the money to themselves. Yet you blame the west. If I ask you to give me your parents money , and you say yes. Then you harm your siblings and parent just to steal the money and give to me. Am I to blame ? also do you think I will discourage you not do it. When will we Africans start taking responsibility for our corrupt , selfish and chop everything finish behavior.
Exactly! Many Africans wished Trump dead for telling illegal aliens to go fix their own countries! Truth is, no matter how close you are to a friend when it gets to bedtime you cannot share his matrimonial bed with him and his wife! You will have to sort a sleeping space out for yourself!

Shows they have learnt little in their political history. Better for them to agitate for good governance. They do not understand that in international politics a country's interest comes first before that of others. That is one of the reasons why I find Trump bullseye! M.A.G.A. is it! The Congolese have failed to see that they are their own enemies. Belgians are in Congo to feather their own nest. The Congolese will do well to see how they can tackle the Belgians to feather Congolese nests. It is energy directed wrongly to destroy foreign embassies.

To have a contrary viewpoint based on he facts of the matter so far is to dwell in the realm of speculation. The facts of the matter are as follows:

a) the accused wasn’t present at the reconciliatory meeting
b) the pardon was unconditional meaning it was given regardless of anything the accused was supposed to do
c) the accused has said publicly that he didn’t contract anyone to beg for him and there has been no rebuttal to that
d) the accused has not refrained from the action that triggered legal action from the prosecutor meaning that the accused is still adamant that he acted in good faith
e) the case is technically still in court so the accused must act and speak advisedly as touching the matter and has been so advised by his legal counsel
See, no matter how iron clad a set of facts are, the science of reasoning does not admit of seeing things the same. Paradigm shifts. That is one of the reasons why dissenting judgments exist at Appellate levels of adjudication. It is not refined to refer to a person who has a different opinion from yours as "knowing nothing".

The write up clearly stated that Mr Dele wasn’t present in the meeting where the prosecutor granted him unconditional forgiveness. Based on the facts we have so far, the said forgiveness was not applied or begged for. Mr Dele has said publicly that he didn’t send anyone to beg for him and there’s been no rebuttal to that.

The write up also states that Me Dele’s lawyer advised his client to make no further statements on the matter. That’s the reason why he has kept quiet. However the book he wrote is wide in circulation so he doesn’t even need to make any further comment as things stand.
That’s another way to interpret the aftermath of the events that led to the withdrawal of the complaint by the Complainant.

The book is still selling and there has been no public apology or recant from the said offender. Until Dele does any of the above, he hasn’t backed down and Afe Babalola has the right to do whatever he wishes with the case.
Other Lawyers in Afe Babalola still have their cases in various courts in the country. They may decide to continue with their own cases.

True. The POS folks have had more reasons to hike their fees for a while now. The cost of money has increased astronomically with all manners of deductions on withdrawals!

Atiku is bribe personified and is the reason he does not see that there are a myriad of other ways to have people do your bidding asides financial inducements. That's all he knows!

Why is Tinubu like this? Why would anyone bring so much suffering to the land and called it useless reforms? With all the reforms trump is ordering here did you see where Americans go to bed on empty stomach? For those even thinking of APC in any elections, six years of madness na em be una portion.
The question should be why are our political leaders (with the probable exception of Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo, Sam Mbakwe, and a few others who governed well in their times) like this?
Politics › Re: Telecom Tariff Hike: NLC To Embark On Nationwide Protest February 4 by zoedew: 6:45am On Jan 30, 2025
Misplaced priority and protest. What the NLC and citizens should stridently protest against is misgovernance deeply rooted in corruption which has resulted in lack of electricity a key component in the delivery of cost effective telecommunications services.

But the man has already decamped with his political associates and followers. Is this a face saving post or APC trying to prove that they are pained by the man's departure from their party. They have been waiting for him to come and plead for recognition and couldn't secure the man's apology. There is always a time to take drastic decisions in life. Wait for the alliance with the North and other grieved party members for a fierce opposition.
Aregbe has no influence in the North worth calling one! In the Southwest of Nigeria folks milling around him are living off him. When the parasite sucks the host dry it moves on! Just watch his life. He will make

It's to further help him to leave finally without looking back.

Let Aregbe go to any party of his choice with his boys. There he would see the difference between his people of over 30 years from SDP period and new deceitful friends.

He threatened to leave and Tinubu never look at his side bcoz he's inconsequential.

If aregbe could abuse Tinubu, go to umrah and video himself there while Nigerians were voting in Nigeria for Tinubu, his political father in Nigeria then he deserved whatever Tinubu did to him.

It's obvious he's trying to be relevant but I tell you he's lost it both in Lagos and Osun.

I can't believe that GAC meeting could go on well without Aregbe, a prominent and influential member of the council.
Only God is relevant for ever!

- So when is your Nigerian EFCC inviting Wike to explain "his" source of wealth? The man seem to be financing the election of every Dick and Tom.
If you understand what security vote is that the typical Governor receives in the open and legitimately too that question will not arise. The sum is humongous especially considering how rich Rivers State is. Has anyone noticed how bold Fubara has become with each passing month he receives the security vote! Not a few in Rivers State think Fubara is the best thing to have happened to Rivers State - they all want the money in his kitty. The typical Rivers State Governor need not steal government funds to be able to afford the sort of financial largesse that is associated with the office.
