kunyeo: A lot of Nigerians are simply stupid. The whole story of files being released or not being released is a mere distraction by BAT! Dont be deceived.Smart guys like Sowore are not talking, that should tell you something. It is a mere chase in futility!
BAT, for sure, knows what the files contain. He keeps Atiku in suspense!
moscow007: Nigerians should brace for impact, Because if they eventually determine that this file will be released no matter what they do, they might try to pull off a grand national tragedy that could distract people from the main news.
In an attempt to obscure such a monumental indicting news a stronger news will be manufactured.
The court is likely to refuse Greenspan request. Atiku has not hidden that the reasons he seeks the release are political. The law says that a public reason must exist for the sought release of the file.
Gjrich: ‘I will destroy you’ – El-Rufai’s son, Bashir publicly threatens elder brother, Bello
The rift between Bashir El-Rufai and his elder brother, Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, sons of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, appears not to be over, as Bashir has again threatened to destroy the lawmaker.
DAILY POST reports that Bashir took to his X handle on Saturday to attack his elder brother, who represents Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, accusing him of abusing drugs.
Although the exact cause of the dispute has not been ascertained, it may not be unconnected with Bello’s political choices, particularly in Kaduna State.
In a more recent post, Bashir publicly threatened to destroy his brother, saying, “I will destroy you & climb my bed and sleep peacefully.”
“If you destroy your brother, no one will see you as a hero. The more you try to destroy him, the more you destroy yourself and drag your family’s name through the mud.
“If you need someone to talk to, I am here,” he said in his reply to Bashir’s post.
Responding, Bashir wrote, “Sorry sir. Had to be said.”
Another X user, Dr Ibrahim Yaji, condemned Bashir for threatening to destroy the lawmaker.
“I kept telling my friend earlier that the joke is on Bashir. I can never trust anybody who can do this to his own blood.
“Even if my sibling kills my child, I won’t destroy him like this. No, my parents didn’t bring us up this way,” he wrote.
But Bashir quickly dismissed the comment, saying, “That’s you o. And I’m sure you had a good brother.”
The sword will never depart from the house of El-Rufai! The phrase "the sword shall never depart from his house" means that his family will face endless violence, conflict, and tragedy. The house of the wicked will know no peace and when he dies his wife will have dreams seeing him splitting logs of wood 🪵
jesusjnr2020: What many don't seem to understand is that preaching the Gospel of Jesus has always been a risky thing, so being arrested, persecuted, or even killed for preaching the Gospel outdoors isn't a new thing.
It happened during the days of the apostles and early Christians, as they were persecuted and some of them were even killed for this purpose but that didn't stop the preaching and spread of the Gospel of Jesus.
I myself suffered persecution, and had been arrested and beaten by policemen 25 years ago for preaching the Gospel of Jesus on the streets, but it didn't stop me because I am still doing same up til date.
So if they think they could stop the preaching or spread of the Gospel by persecuting, arresting, beating, fining street preachers, they're only deceiving themselves.
Because not even the gates of hell could stop the preaching and spread of the Gospel of Jesus in this world.
PDPdestroyer: See the kind environment him dey stay sef, just like their Osun situation room That’s why I keep saying most of them are hungry and broke individuals who have been sold a lie that Obi is coming to make their lives better, something he couldn’t do as governor of tiny Anambra. Association of mhorunz, scammers and dregs of the society. I cant wait for January 2027 when they will finally be discarded like used sanitary pads into the dustbins of our political history
In the midst of so much hunger folks who have more than enough to eat and can spare a Naira or two to be at the cinema and drive fine cars are increasingly becoming an endangered category of people in the society.
adenigga: The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the August 15 Osun governorship poll, Bola Oyebamiji has congratulated the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, who was returned elected in the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Oyebamiji who alleged attacks on small and medium-sized businesses due to perceive political affiliations or non-allegiance of their owners to the ruling party in the state, also demanded end to the killings, harassment and intimidation of APC members and supporters across the state.
He made this known in his address on the outcome of the governorship poll to the supporters and members of APC dated Saturday, August 29 obtained in Osogbo by The PUNCH.
He also said after the declaration of the poll result, efforts were set in motion leading to wider consultations with people inclusive of elders and the critical stakeholders in the party for the next step forward.
“As a party committed to the rule of law, we shall continue to pursue justice and fairness through lawful and constitutional means, particularly in relation to our electoral processes. I therefore urge you not to be discouraged or despair. We must remain resolute, sustain our faith in democracy and continue to have confidence in the institutions established to protect our democratic rights,” Oyebamiji said.
He added, “In the spirit of democracy and as we commemorate the 35th anniversary of the creation of our dear Osun State, I congratulate His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, on his victory in the August 15, 2026 governorship election as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
“At the same time, I call on Mr. Governor, as the Chief Security Officer of the state, to do everything within his constitutional responsibility to protect the lives and property of all citizens, particularly during this sensitive post-election period.”
He recalled various incidents of violence that occurred before and during the governorship poll, saying the party lost more than 35 members to the mayhem and charged the police to thoroughly investigate the killings and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, for their support for the governorship project, and called on APC members in the state to rededicate themselves to the task of mobilising support for Tinubu and other candidates of the party in the 2027 general elections.
“We must close ranks, strengthen our structures and work tirelessly to secure incontrovertible victories for Mr. President and all our candidates in Osun State.
“In conclusion, I salute your courage, resilience and steadfast commitment to our party and to the Prosperity Agenda that we represent. Democracy is not an end in itself; it is a means through which the aspirations and welfare of the people can be advanced.
“We will therefore continue to march forward with faith and determination towards a greater Osun. A state where our collective resources are equitably deployed, where opportunities are accessible to all, and where governance serves the greater good of our people rather than narrow or clannish interests. I thank you all,” he said.
The PUNCH reports that the incumbent Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, was returned elected in the Saturday August 15 governorship poll by the State Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Joshua Ogunwole.
Adeleke won the governorship poll with a total of 511,067, to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, who polled 444,815 votes.

All Abubakar Atiku sees is a purportedly 90 old Tinubu he says is old and sick but clearly we can all see that Tinubu is getting the job. Atiku says he is younger and stronger. He is so desperate to be President just to be President he will say and do just about anything for that!
muykem: This by force marriage of igbo and Rivers state is getting irritating.
You will understand why when you consider that Rivers State is a veritable access to the sea and the Atlantic Ocean without which the Biafra they seek will be landlocked.

Certain philosophical traditions rely on "natural law," the idea that human organs and biological functions have an inherent natural purpose. Under this view, using sexual faculties outside of their reproductive design is considered contrary to human nature.
Exactly so! Those who think, speak and act differently are out of their senses! Even animals in the wild are far from such conduct!
SeeWahala: In America in the 1990's there was a company called Datsun producing cars for their market but the same car could be found in Japan named Nissan.
Later USA dropped the Datsun name and took up the Nissan one. If you were alive and living in USA at that time I'm sure many people would give you a piece of their mind concerning this your type of submission
“producing cars”🧐. The point is that Innoson cannot be said to be producing the same car here in Nigeria and should come clean!

His advisors are not advising him well
This is not about Peter Obi getting wrong input from his advisors but rather about Peter Obi speaking as he is! Except for the mourning Nigerian like him others are animals! I always said that folks who follow him are in delusion as he is. Delusion is a fatal phenomenon!

They are looking for slaves!
The unemployment rate in Canada is on the high side that you would even find online videos about it. If the jobs are there, why aren’t their own citizens taking up that job instead of seeking foreign intervention?
Yes, they are not trained but a country like Canada has the capability to train them and get them to work within same processing time they approve a foreigner.
This Caucasians aren’t fools. They know exactly what they doing.
You are one of the very few who see it for what it is. Sadly however, very many of us are too beaten down to lift up our heads and fix our space preferring instead to go slave in the Whitman's country that holds no future worth calling one. Mmayeneyen: The Osun APC Restoration Forum says the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola remains APC political leader in the state in spite of the Aug. 15 Osun election loss.
The Secretary of the forum, Mr Johnson Ajilore, made the call at a media briefing in Lagos on Sunday.
The secretary said his contributions deserve recognition, respect and his experience remains valuable to the future of the party particularly in the quest to reclaim the mandate.
"Before, during and after the Aug. 15 governorship election, he demonstrated great leadership and continued to show commitment to the party, its members and its future in the state.
"His conduct throughout this period has, in our view, reflected political maturity, restraint and a deep understanding of the responsibilities of leadership," he said.
Ajilore, therefore commended him for his contributions to the growth and stability of the party.
He has called on members of the party to use the outcome of the Aug. 15 governorship election in the state as an opportunity for reconciliation and rebuilding rather than division.
Ajilore said the party needed sober reflection, genuine reconciliation and structural rebuilding following the outcome of the election, rather than grandstanding and blame games.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the off-cycle governorship election in Osun on Aug. 15.
INEC declared the Accord Party candidate and incumbent Governor of the state, Mr Ademola Adeleke, winner of the election, returning him for another term after defeating the APC candidate, Mr Bola Oyebamiji.
Ajilore said the forum was particularly concerned about what he described as the grandstanding by some individuals following the party's performance in the election.
He said some members who were presenting themselves as political authorities and issuing sweeping judgments about the APC had failed to justify such claims with their own electoral performance.
"These are individuals who could not secure their own political territories. Some lost their polling units, wards and even local government areas to the Accord Party.
"Yet they have suddenly assumed the posture of unquestionable authorities on what went wrong in the APC," he said.
The secretary said members of the forum were proud to have delivered their wards and local government areas to the APC in the election, citing Ilesa East, Atakumosa East and Atakumosa West Local Government Areas.
He urged party members to identify their weaknesses, examine their failures, strengthen grassroots structures and reconnect with the people.
Ajilore, however, cautioned that the process must not be driven by personal vendettas, political opportunism or attempts to settle old scores.
He called on APC members, leaders and stakeholders in Osun to demonstrate maturity and discipline, stressing that the party belonged to all its members and its future should not be sacrificed for individual ambitions.
"We must build bridges rather than burn them, reconcile rather than alienate, and strengthen rather than weaken our structures," he said.
Ajilore also urged members to recognise and respect those who had consistently demonstrated commitment to the party.
He said the forum remained committed to unity, restoration, reconciliation and progress within the APC.
The secretary further alleged that some party leaders who were "loud in Abuja and nationally" had, because of their personal ambitions for the 2030 election, sabotaged the party's chances in the Aug. 15 election.
"According to him, we know them and at the right time, we will expose them so that the President and unsuspecting members of the party should be wary of them and their desperation," he said.
They learnt nothing from the outcome of the last elections in Osun State to the effect that Oyetola will always be a hard sell and any party that seeks to succeed in Osun State should not touch him with a ten inch pole!
From all indications he is doing well at the job. The fear of Wike is the beginning of political wisdom! Mention Wike in Atiku’s sleep and Atiku will run out of his sleep and into the Channels TV studios like Omoye running naked into the market!!
jesusjnr2020: Nigerian Catholic Priests Reacts To Viral Video Of Human Skull Display In Vatican
2 vocal clerics of the Catholic church, Fada Oluoma and Fada Kelvin Ugwu, have since reacted and appeared to distance themselves from the acts of the Catholic Bishop seen carrying a human skull in the viral video below:
The overriding need to preserve and engender the integrity of the FBI Witness Protection Program is likely to be considered more important than the desire of Atiku Abubakar to dig out the alleged sordid past of President Tinubu. The Court is likely to reject the FOI request to make the details of the drug pushing investigation allegedly involving Tinubu public. With that Atiku is stuck although he is expected to appeal the decision to a higher court.
2Minuteswoman: Honestly, I wasn’t even prepared for this bird wahala on my Ofada rice farm.
The birds dealt with my farm seriously. I got there yesterday and was extremely down that I couldn’t even sleep at night. Imagine 9 acres!
I think the issue was that they had already sucked out the “milk” before the rice could properly form. Maybe the person I employed didn’t really have enough experience with Ofada farming.
When the Hausa guys came on Wednesday, they said some of the rice that had already been eaten by the birds was not worth harvesting. Omo, it really pained me.
Apart from catapult and making noise, are there other effective ways of scaring birds away? I was told scarecrows don’t really work because the birds get used to them. The farmers around there also rely mainly on catapults and employing more hands.
Anyone with experience in rice farming, especially Ofada, please advise me on what else I can do next
