bentenny:Osun Elections are not about party politics as they are about Adeleke who is an amiable politician and Oyetola and Oyebamiji who are arrogant, proud, boastful, elitist and as such not popular with the people whose vote now count with a more reliable INEC. So long as Adeleke keeps his word to Tinubu will Tinubu have the assurance of winning in the 2027 Presidential Elections. You can take that to the Bank! |
Segunbabba:Please go ahead! It is harvest time for Lawyers! It is your right nah!! You will lose to the point that you will become loose and burst open at the seams!!! |
ChemmyNaija:Who is Makinde? Obasanjo is about to make the biggest political miscalculation of his life. He needs to read the book "Finishing Strong" by Steve Farrar maybe he'll change his ways for the better before it is too late for him! |
Powerbandooo:You cannot comprehend what this is about. |
dreamworld:Set up a topic to deal with that. FYI, I have more than one paid subs for that. |
IamAsiri:Their gain is what we miss here! An overview of Nairalanders on the Topic it is obvious that Nigerians do not appreciate art especially the fusion of music Lagbaja created. So smooth and continuously creative. His bass lines are not a piece cake for just any Bassist to try out. I celebrate. I seriously wish he kept in touch! |
Can you confirm the mileage on the odometer and if transmission software updates and recalls have been completed at a dealership? Thanks. |
DoWhatThouWilt:JUST LIKE FOLKS WHO ENCOURAGE MISERABLE FOLKS TO GET DRUNK AND FORGET THEIR SORROWS! |
ogododo:WE UNDERSTAND! YOU HAVE ALSO IMPACTED NIGERIANS GREATLY!! |
AnonPoet:THAT'S WHAT'S BEST FOR KINGS. SEE HOW METHODIST CHURCH HAS MILKED MBHS TO THE BARE BONES. MBHS WOULD HAVE BEEN CONSIGNED TO THE DUST BIN OF HISTORY BUT FOR THE MB OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION SLUGGING IT OUT WITH THE MCN IN A RESOLUTE BID TO KEEP MBHS GOING! |
MrEar:I GUESS HE'LL RELOCATE TO AFGHANISTAN INSTEAD! |
akpumping7720: ![]() |
AndroBlaze:HE IS WIDELY KNOWN AS A FETISH HUMAN PRETENDING TO BE MUSLIM. A MUSLIM HAS NO BUSINESS PUTTING HIS FEET IN A BASIN OF BLOOD WHILE TRAVELLING SEATING AT THE BACK OF HIS CAR! |
akpumping7720:I AM SURE YOU KNOW WHERE BET9JA OFFICES AND KIOSKS ARE LOCATED IN YOUR LOCAATION. THEY SHOULD HELP YOU OUT WITH A MUCH LARGER CROWD OF GAMBLERS! |
Kurugu92:RAUF AREGBESOLA IS A DROWNING MAN POLITICALLY! HE GROSSLY LACKS SHAME LEAVING ONE WITH THE IMPRESSION THAT HE IS AFFLICTED WITH DELUSION WHICH IS A FATAL PHENOMENON! |
Imalwayshorny:LITTLE WONDER, I JUST READ ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR CHINESE BOSS AND THOUGHT TO SEE IF YOU WERE JOKING ONLY TO COME ACROSS THIS!! ONE HOPES THAT YOU ARE NOT A transgendered! IF NIGERIANS FIND OUT YOU COULD BE LYNCHED ALIVE. YOU WILL DO WELL TO SEEK REFUGE WITH THE FAMILY OF BARRACK OBAMA AND JOE BIDEN THE APOSTLES OF LGBTQ+ |
Cmanforall:TRANSPORTERS USE IT A LOT IN OGUN STATE ESPECIALLY IBADAN -IJEBU -ODE ROUTE. |
obiekunie2:NOT TRUE! I KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT EVEN LIVE IN LAGOS AND HAS MECHANICS WHO CAN SPEAK TO THE CAR PERFECTLY. ONE THING IS THE SPARE PARTS CAN BE HARD TO GET AND THUS EXPENSIVE. GERMAN PRODUCT... VERY STRONG! |
adenigga:SEE WHO IS GIVING ADVISE ON GOOD GOVERNANCE! HE DISOBEYED THE JUDGMENT OF THE SUPREME COURT WHILE HE WAS PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA. THAT ALONE DISENTITLES HIM FROM RENDERING SUCH AN ADVISE. |
IamAsiri:Great perspective to the discussion. Thanks! |
SirCloudControl:Well, if you say so! |
EmekaBlue:You don't get my drift so I won't take you on. You will do well to look at the internet and you will see his face. He already showed his face. |
faceland:Pronto I will go look for him now! |
laivwire:Odd, I concede that! Thanks!! It doesn't explain away though that my passionate fandom for Lagbaja i.e. his incredible blend of Afrobeat, jazz, and distinct masquerade aesthetics that inspires fierce protection and strong opinions among his dedicated listeners made me forget my manners! By the way, what were you doing sitting behind the ass of that BMW. BMW designers especially the interior needed to be conceived in Japan and their mothers delivered of them in a BMW factory in Germany! BMW interior can be so monotonous! But the a/c is chilling like you are in a coldstore. When I drove one 6 series I couldn't be about town on a drive without switching the air-conditioner off and on again simply I just could not cope with the terrible cold! By the way I love it chilling cold anywhere am at! |
CodeTemplar:I doubt very much that you understand what we are talking about!!! Artists do not suffer! Back then Kings invited Artists to stay in their palaces to entertain them and produce more art! Some rich Nigerians privately reach out and take care of artists in our society. Visit the Palace of the typical African King in a proper Place setting and you will see how valuable artistes are in our society not to talk of the King's Palace! They wake the king up with beautiful drumming and flutes tunes e.t.c. You think it was for nothing the recently concluded FIFA World Cup event had artistes entertaining the world. Imagine Lagbaja at the FIFA games! |
IamAsiri:A different thing you talk about came out of something that was before. What I am pushing is that Lagbaja is of more or a better use to mankind living in Nigeria than elsewhere on the globe. It is his choice though but followers of his art form cannot but have their say. I will not be surprised to get to know that he is a course of study in schools of music and Universities just like Beethoven, Handel, et al are! Too many times African do not sufficiently appreciate what they have got in terms of talented art. Back then across Muson Centre which is now elitist, stood an art village and museum where secondary students debated themselves and folks unwind in a healthy manner. Uncle Kuboye, Uncle Peter King, Uncle Jimmy Solanke, and others. Uncle Peter King trained Asa the female music icon! I look forward to having Lagbaja back in Nigeria someday. When he was here he had patrons in high and lowly places in the society who after work made straight for Motherlan at Opebi! |
IamAsiri:There is no such thing as an old artist! An artist is a creative person. So long as a thing remains creative it never gets old. Art is timeless. Experiencing is the container that holds it. Lagbaja is a priceless piece of art I wished expats continue to come to Nigeria to see! He is entitled to his privacy though!🧐 |
dododawa1:Ladies, you cannot be too careful. What to do is give your life to Jesus and live by the Bible. Life is meaningful that way here and in eternity! |
MrUnitedstatesA:One time or the other she has had the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ preached to her. Who knows what she did with the Good News that Jesus saves! |
Kobojunkie:🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
laivwire:An artist exists for his society who deservedly have an expectation of him. It is his choice to relocate elsewhere to do something else. That would not take away from a disappointed member of the society expressing disappointment at the choice of the artist if it appears to be ulterior to societal expectation of that artist. Lagbaja is not just another artist in Nigeria. His absence in this space is telling on the music and art economy. I meant no harm. It is my way of saying how much he is missed. I woke up this morning thinking about him and wishing he was here in Nigeria! As to your imagined lawsuit I am sure millions of other Nigerians who share my sentiment out of love for Lagbaja will join in the fray. No shaking!!! Folks like you do not appreciate art sufficiently enough to know how much the decisions of an artist draws the emotive out of those who follow his art! That is like what this generation refer to as influencers! If I saw Lagbaja face-to-face I will say it to his face and I know he is sufficiently large-hearted to burst out in laughter while explaining his decision. For your information no explanation from him would satisfy my longing for his presence in Nigeria. He is so switched off that his You-Tube channel begs for content with only a few thousand scribers!!! One day a book will be written and a story told about what exactly happened that informed his sudden volte-face !! His absence has left a yawning gap in the genre of music he plays. Once again, omo Baba mukomuko kumbaya!😀 |
