Wow! These folks love the convicted criminal who is doing his life sentence in Sokoto Prisons. Their love will be better appreciated if the protesters 🪧 showed up in Sokoto!
Gbagura: If Lagos is for all Nigerians, what happens to other states? Lagos isn't father Xmas. Every state should strive to match Lagos pace to reduce the daily influx into the state. It's not healthy for the economy.
That influx is the challenge Lagos must deal with by regulating life style in the city of Lagos in a manner that intentionally shaves off baggage.
Coolgent: Former Sokoto State Governor and current Senator representing Sokoto South Zone has officially submitted his resignation letter to the Tambuwal/Shinfiri PDP Ward Chairman today (11 March 2026). According to the member representing Tambuwal East Constituency in the State Assembly, Hon. Bashar Isah Jabo (Sarkin Yakin Jabo), he has now joined the ADC.
Shameless man! The superior and strategic reasoning of Wike has now prevailed in the matter. Wike has them all scattered and chased out of PDP like he said would happen!
[quote author=Kewekubosineh post=138736832]Yes. They own Lagos. Don't you know?
Tell me what you can do for yourselves, apart from tax collection and agberoism.
I am not your quarry. I only quoted you. Your missive is best directed to the jetsam and flotsam of the society you claimed to have developed. Is it wise not to gloat over your achievements in Lagos and seek to integrate and blend with the society so it can be bigger and better for all? That way your investments are safer. I am not surprised though. Chinua Achebe once said about the Igbo as follows- "There is no doubt at all that there is a strand in contemporary Igbo behaviour that can offend; by its noisy exhibitionism and disregard for humility and quietness."
Drama as Nnamdi Kanu Loyalist Mobilizes Abia Traders for Planned One Million March
Tension and anticipation are building in Abia State as a loyal supporter of Nnamdi Kanu intensifies efforts to mobilize traders for a planned One Million March on Thursday demanding the release of the detained separatist leader. The move is rapidly gaining attention across markets and political circles, raising questions about the scale of the planned demonstration and its potential impact on the ongoing agitation surrounding the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
panafrican: President Goodluck Jonathan, former President of Nigeria, demonstrated exceptional statesmanship while leading Africa’s most populous nation of more than 230 million people. His tenure was marked by a steady commitment to democratic governance, national stability, and economic development during a period of significant internal and regional challenges.
As head of state, he confronted complex security threats, including terrorist attacks, while maintaining the country’s democratic institutions and pursuing policies aimed at improving the living standards of Nigerians. His administration invested in critical road infrastructure, supported the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, and encouraged partnerships with major businesses to stimulate economic expansion and job creation.
Beyond domestic governance, President Jonathan played an active role in addressing broader issues across the African continent. He contributed to efforts in conflict resolution both within and between African nations and promoted stronger multilateral relationships between Africa and global powers, including the United States, the European Union, Russia, China, India, Japan, and partners across the Arab world.
These experiences reflect a leader capable of working effectively under pressure, navigating complex geopolitical interests, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders. Such qualities are essential for the role of Secretary-General of the United Nations. With his record of leadership, diplomacy, and commitment to international cooperation, President Goodluck Jonathan stands out as a strong and credible candidate for the world’s top multilateral post
Uncle Fortunatus will emerge a worst disaster than what the gutter had provided at the UNO for years now.
Burob: Right side of history indeed, lamentations for the wailers, High Court ordered don’t hold any convention, u gladly went & disobeyed it, now you are coming here to shed crocodile tears for us?
I remember back then you were beating your pigeon’s chest that we have held our convention, today you are seeking for sympathy?
seunmsg: Your constitution clearly stated that you must conduct state congress before conducting a national convention. You failed to do that and went ahead to conduct a convention in violation of the party’s constitution. Sule Lamido, a founding member of your party declared interest in contesting for the party’s national chairman, you deliberately refused to sell the nomination form to him. Two different courts looked at all these anomalies and ordered you not to go ahead with the convention but you choose not to respect the orders of the court.
Now that the appeal court has rightly trashed the illegal convention, you’re here to blame everything on the president. Is the president responsible for all the above irregularities?
Gov. Seyi Makinde should be ashamed of himself for lacking strategic leadership and vision. Where he has ended up was not difficult for me to envision. Even me who is not a partisan politician and without access to the sitreps and intel that he has!
You don’t go rousing the hornets nest only to turn around to complain that you got stung!. In politics as in life you choose your battles wisely. Your political conduct in the past few weeks has greatly taken away from the political goodwill your image has gained through the years. It is amazing how political immature you are! Difficult to believe that a Gov. Seyi Makinde will use the Judiciary wrongly to push a political agenda in a manner so brazen to the point that a Hon Justice lent him the Gavel in a matter the Judge in his heart of heart knows he lacks jurisdiction to entertain. That Judge will someday have God to account to and contend with!
NothingDoMe: You stopped commenting because you were mourning Khamenei senior. Lol.
Are you saying the weapons cannot erase Iran's population?
How many high damage offensive weapons have been used against Iran?
The cost of a dismantling a regime such as Iran is always higher because you are largely on the defensive as you push for precision strikes to counter their own offensive.
The only other option is to fire at will into Iran which is a no no. The last was Japan and hopefully will remain so.
Correct comment. It takes Russia next to nothing to wipe Ukraine even without using the nuke. Iran is nothing to U.S. if the rules of engagement were set differently. Iran just wants to be better respected by other countries. Iran sure knows that nuking Israel is mutually assured destruction.
Amala convention is digested and ended up in the latrine. Polibaby Makinde is crawling around the political landscape playing with sand picking and stuffing things in his mouth! He can't seem to find his way back to Wike his poliuncle!
yarimo: Lere olayinka you are a patriotic citizen please increase this volume
He meant to say the hungry rat of Ubima who should be put on the next train to Daura and thereafter the next to Maradi in Niger! Shameless! Thoroughly conscienceless!
alobright17: Wait and watch saint ADC coming here to cry hot tears because no governor find them worthy of a party to join .
Tell me who any Governor is going to meet in ADC🧐. Is it the politically and ethically bankrupt Party Secretary known as Aregbesola? Is it the politician known as David Mark who has nothing to show for representing his people? Is it Atiku who simply is forum shopping looking for a political party to use as a platform to contest Presidential election as a desperate politician? Or Amaechi who is so hungry for power he is not ashamed to say so in many ways less than honourable and truthful.
1mansolder: The best way to end this is for every politician and rich people to start bringing one or two of their children to join the military
To plot a coup and get caught and face a court-martial and shot at a firing squad. That is what some of them like Buhari, Babangida, Nzeogwu are good at doing. Dishonourable Officers. Not gentlemen.
