This is why i keep saying that southern presidency no matter who (old or young) would be better than a northerner because they have very big different backgrounds. The north believes in population and poverty while the south is quite the opposite. No northern government can even offer 1 million on the head of a whistle blower because they don't wish any northerner to enter the high class from the low class overnight. How many Imam can do what OPM did for late Deborah family? None. This is one of the reasons why insecurity in the south can quickly be put under control within months than it can happen in the north.

One ethnic group lied to themselves since 1970 that they were 'sophisticated' and better than everyone else for too long that it must looked like a 'abominable coup' if anybody said otherwise because they controlled the media pre-internet.

When the social media was still young in Nigeria, there is only one tribe that you can praise without being seen as a tribalist but as a true nigerian- the yoruba. They were the truly 'sophisticated one nigeria' tribe.

If you were Igbo or non-Igbo and you praised the 'Igbos', yoruba will come for your head, nobody is expected to praise the Igbo, even if you are Igbo, you are expected to hate Igbo, so that you can be seen as a true one nigerian.

At that time the yorubas were still under the illusion that the social media is just another replica of their domination of the newspaper and electronic media..
They were silently shocked to learn of the robust population of the Igbo online community.
