I want to buy a car in the near future and I am turn between an Avalon and a Corolla 2007. Based on my price review on Jiji, both vehicle are within the same price range of N1.8million - N2.2million for foreign use depending on condition and seller.

I'll like to ask Nairalanders who have experience using any of these cars to advice which will be better for a personal user with no plans for long distance travel or ride hailing.

My key concern is aroung.
1. Cost of servicing
2. Repairs and maintenance.
3. Fuel consumption
4. Overall driving experience.

If you are concerned about those 4 things you mentioned, just get a Corrolla. Avalon is a large car and will cost you more to maintain. When buying a care you either go for luxury or performance.

Its not just to build it, it is to maintain it. Batteries are a headache in this solar business. It is only when you enter it that you will begin to see the down side. I pray they manage it well. Good luck to them!
