You don't necessarily have to go to their office. Everything can be done via email, just communicate using that email address. You can payment via bank transfer, ask them to give you their account details.

Your keywords for the search should be Kleve or Kamp lintfort depending on the campus your course is offered.

Please, Is it advisable to leave my job experience blank? Because my experience is far different from what I studied and what I am applying for again.
I don't have any experience related to my educational background.

If you are preparing your CV for Visa interview, please don't leave out your work experience. Although, I am not sure if it counts but what I know is that it tells the VO or anyone processing your application that you haven't been idle. Talking from personal experience as I was also in your same situation.

Hi everyone!

So I stumbled upon this site late last year and it's been AMAZING, I've laughed, dragged people, been dragged, learned a lot and contributed the little I know, made really great friends who I'd love to have forever. On here I made friends who helped me every step of the way, whenever I had issues (I MEAN SOMEONE I'VE NEVER MET HELPED ME GET AN INTERVIEW DATE) and to all of them I say thank you, it's been wonderful meeting you all.

Now that I'm done speaking English and making sure my degree fees have been well spent, here's my time-line :
Interview date: 11th February
AM: 12th March (7:24 am) I spilled my tea!
Sent passport and insurance : 14th March.

Hoping to get all back next week, all the best to everyone expecting a response.

@kingucc
@immafrank (detailed and composed responses always)
@fabcol (my panla fish)
@bukolaakin

Guys, God has done it for me! I just received the Almighty a.m mail today and it reads;
Dear Sir/Madam,
In your above-mentioned visa matter you are requested to kindly forward the following documents to the undersigned (you may either forward them via courier service or drop them directly at the gate of the Consulate General):
your passport
a travel health insurance, valid for 6 months starting from the date of travel
(plus one photo copy)
Please also indicate your travel dates, bearing in mind that your departure should not be scheduled any sooner than at least 7 days after the posting of your envelope.....etc
*All Glory be to God and the wonderful ppl of this forum who have been selfless in dishing out info and making sure we all get along. God bless you all and grant A.M to all the hopefuls both summer and winter 2019. Yes this is a testimony, this journey has been straight forward for me except the challenge I had on my interview date. I was so disorganized that day like damn I already started having doubts but I just committed everything to God Almighty and finally God made a way!
Had my interview on 16th Jan, sent blocking confirmation on the 29th of Jan and received A.M 11th Feb.
*Please someone should direct me on what next to do like which insurance company do I use and how do I contact them from Enugu, thank you.

Congrats! Go and succeed.

Congrats on your admission! Awesome, I think it's wise we liaise as two heads are better than one. I also have things I don't fully understand. Reply my mail let us move from there.

Opinionator:

Okay, I understand perfectly well, but my question wasn't going to be about the application process of school itself as I have been admitted myself. I would just like to liaise regarding visa matters and eventual migration (if we choose to accept the offer).

Hi, I got it, however it will be best if you ask your questions here so other people can benefit as there is little info on Rhine Waal on the forum. But if you still want to communicate via email, no wahala. I just responded to your email.

Opinionator:

I just requested to send you a mail.

erny11:

Thanks so much! The admission is restricted that's my fear.
Dont worry just ensure your documents and payment get to uniassist before the deadline they will attend to your application. As for me, I don't think applying now is a bad idea when the deadline for application is 15 Jan 2019.

You can if your docs and payment can get to them in good time. If the course you are applying for is not restricted you may get response as soon as possible
I applied to such through uniassist and received response from uniassist 2 weeks later, got response from the school a week later!

erny11:
Is it advisable to apply for masters (summer 2019) in a school that has Jan 15th as its deadline? Meanwhile, the application is via Uniassist
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by zuperyh8: 3:38pm On Dec 17, 2018
Here is a little advise. This is how I am learning German.

Firstly and most importantly, you have to be determined and have a positive mindset towards learning German.

Then, start with Duolingo app. It teachs the basics in repetitive style, which helps you build confidence and helps with retention. So you don't easily forget what you have practiced.

Via YouTube videos (learn German with Jenny or any other) learn the alphabets, umlauts, phonetics, it helps to improve your pronounciations. Learn the numbers. In addition to YouTube videos, I use a textbook; Deutsch Als Fremdsprache: Themen Aktuell 1. If you can get it do.
Download a German - English Dictionary. ( I use DE -EN Dictionary).

By now you should be slightly confident and understand basic German. Move on to movies or TV series with or without translation. (I download the ones with German subtitles, wierd right!, It helps build my reading and listening skills) start with Mein Weg Nach Deutschland. I also watched Deutchlander 83. All of these help you understand the culture and will help you think like them.

Another great website to learn German is www.deutschakademie.de, you learn vocabulary, short phrases, conversation and Grammer.

FYI, Duolingo doesn't explain or teach the rules of German Grammer, so when you get confused consult YouTube, there are lots of resources that provide clear explanation. Easy German is a very resourceful YouTube channel, watch their videos!(

Lastly, here is what I have realised so far in the last four months of my self tutoring, it is easier to develop reading, listening and writing skills. As for speaking, I think I will learn faster and better when around native speakers.

All the best!

I understand how you may feel about this, and I truly hope it isn't a scam. I have met nice people too on this forum who have been of great help to me even with payment and all.
If you still don't hear from the guy, I can assist you with booking at No Cost as I am always online at about that time. It's the little I can do to help. Pm me if need be.
I think dates available now are for Feb.

Mystique20:
Hi guys!
So i don't want to say that I've been scammed because the day isn't over, however i got in touch with the individual whose post I'm quoting after he responded to my post asking for someone to help me with the appointment booking.
We exchanged a few emails and finally agreed that I'll make half the payment and the other half upon confirmation, got his contact and account information, made payment today, sent him an email informing him that the payment had been made, i called the number but didn't get a response, now its no longer reachable.

We constantly complain about not being trusted by outsiders but don't make any effort to be different, i honestly hope that I'm wrong about my assumptions. However, if its truly the case of being scammed, i hope the fee solves all your problems,we learn everyday.

May the universe repay you as it sees fit.

I am using IELTS. However, I think you apply for language of proficiency the same way you would transcript.

no problem. Please did you use language of proficiency or ielts? If the former how did you go about acquiring it? Thanks in advance

Certification is free.
5 copies per appointment.

dgee1:

This is very helpful, thank you. But please I have a few questions:

1. How much do they charge per page for certification?

2. How many copies do they accept for certification?

Thanks
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by zuperyh8: 3:42pm On Oct 05, 2018
It is quite easy. Go to the website follow the instructions on how to apply and make payment. Use the address of an office ( I used the address of my work place) as the recipient. I hope this is clear enough. If not, let me know so I can explain in detail.

Sorry for the late response!

Chizzyozi:
please how did you go about getting your unilag transcript.

once the booking is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email, print and take it with you tonight the day of your appointment.
