I disagree bro. A moon is also a natural satellite of a planet or celestial body. Earth's moon is not the only there is, in our solar system.

Yeah! But I dont think he believes that satellites are also called moons! But it is just a slang word for satellite, not really scientific in origin

Satellite is the main word, scientifically endorsed. Moon is the layman's word, the layman believes a satellite is that dish that floats in space

Moon is not layman. Scientists, even NASA uses it to refer to natural satellites. Nothing layman about that usage.

I actually think its laymen that believe the term 'moon' is reserved for Earth's natural satellite only, and that every other thing that revolves round planets (natural or not) is simply 'satellite'.
