Imo State has never had a good governor since 1999. The earlier you guys realize this, the faster you start living with what those mediocres do. Even Ihedioha was another mediocre.

Imo and Abia States need an indigene who was neither born nor raised there to govern those two states. The way people think in those states is scary, to say the least.
In Bold.

We can see recent governors of Abia state grappling with urban infrastructures of Aba, after the two governors from old Bende division modernised Umuahia the state capital, but abandoned Aba.
But since 2007, Imo state with its governors from Orlu and Okigwe senatorial zones, is on a vicious cycle in Owerri. The rest of the state receive no modern infrastructures from the state governors.

Yes. They plan to complete the storey building car par

Multi level car park in Owerri, one of those phantom, fantasy and eye catching projects of former governor Okorocha.
Owerri has vast lands, and does not require multi level car park.
Instead of gov Hope Uzodinma to repair two or three of the tens of dilapidated urban roads in Orlu to make for population shift to this area of Imo state.. the multi car park in Owerri will become unused after two or more incidents occur there. Even in the Western World where people drive with near perfection, multi level car park is dreaded by many drivers.

Yeah during Achike Udenwa regime around 2007 probably the most aesthetic market in imo state currently, it came with it's own banks , police post, dump site etc.

I think it's one of the most expensive market in imo state to get a shop though it's overly subscribed. No space at all

Your analogy is very flawed

Achike Udenwa was a USA based business man.
Ohakim was Lagos born and brought up

Rochas was Jos born and brought up

Hope Uzodinma though imo state born but brought up in Lagos Nigeria.

The best state governor since 1999 is Chime Sullivan and was he was born and brought up and had his career in Enugu state.

An imo state born and brought up is yet to rule Imo state, that's why me personally is routing for Mr Frank Nneji CEO ABC group for the gubernatorial elections.

I think it's time who we start electing those who were born and brought up in the SE and have a sound career going on for theirselves. Maybe only them can solve the issue facing the SE.

Myopism is why Lagos is congested and always suffering from traffic. Owerri can have a multilevel car par

Like Owerri has more of beautiful and wide avenues with greenery ambient in the SE. Tree helps to absorb dust in the air, fresh air etc.. but the road's needs to be wider wider for future traffic. This one lane with divider in the middle no follow.

The wider roads were Rochas' vision, but isn't being sustained enough..
Nevertheless, quality roads like, street/ring/adjoining/main should form basis for other innovations ..
Infact, you are more likely to control traffic with a near perfect grid system, than building a wide road(main) that leads to no where...
There's no need building wide roads with substandard materials.

According to the budget, the two entry routes will be reconstructed, although the dual carriage that connects it from the back of LGA HQ by old Orlu township stadium has been reopened after it was closed due to insecurity challenges.

Orlu has suffered a lot.
It requires urban renewal - its streets, its 2 sports stadiums, its fire station - all need to be rebuilt; the main economic hub which is the International market needs to be completed. Who talks about public water supply system here? For now, the city is an eyesore.

this is a flawed statement though if we factor that rochas and ohakim belong to the category you are saying are needed to run the state

Foresight is not in building and demolishing in Owerri, but abandon the other areas of Imo state to decay, by successive governors of Imo state. You don't need any multi-level car park in Owerri because people will not use them for too many reasons.
Fingers crossed praying that Owerri doesn't ask the next governor of Imo state to demolish the present new market being built by Uzodinma government at Ekeonunwa market in Owerri, and ask the governor to build a new market similar to the ancestral market demolished by former governor Rochas Okorocha. It can happen, Owerri takes Imo state to be created to develop Owerri to perhaps London status, before any modern development infrastructures can be done in any other place in Imo state.
