I must say here that you are on point. If I must be Afraid of either an israeli attack or an Iranian response I think I will fear the Israeli Military more. let me give you some points:

1. Iran is just shouting and telling the whole world about their military capabilities and what they can do, their military is untested and their equipments moreso.

Israel do not boast about the capaability of their military but their track records speak for them, let me give you some examples: They fought and won the 1948 war against the Arabs, They fought and won against a conbined Arab force in The Six Day War 1967, They fought and won a combined Arab force in The Yom Kippur War 1973, These in addition to contless military operations over the decades. Some they lost, some they won but all they learnt from.




2. Israel has demontrated that they are willing to act to prevent any enemy state in that region from acquiring a nuclear weapon. This is because the State of Israel is inherently weak and they need nuclear weapon and an unusually strong military to tilt the balance in their favour. In 1982 Israel attacked and destroyed the Iraqi Nuclear plant at Osirak, In 2007 they attacked and destroyed a Syrian Nuclear Power plant, in that attack they employed a tactic never before used in Military warfare.

Meanwhile, isreal is not a christian country, they are jewsn they don't believe in jesus

Iran knows that Israel is serious so they have dispersed their Nuclear sites all over Iran and in hardened underground bunkers. The only reason why Israel lost the Summer War with Hezbollah was that Israel underestimated Hezbollah and sent recruits to fight against battle-hardened fighters. check out what happened in the last days of the war when they realised their mistake.




3. Israel is so technologically superior that they have confounded even the American Military. They have an unknown number of Nuclear weapons and they have the Jericho Class of Thermonuclear weapons which can strike any point on this plane. Infact a single Jericho III missile can destroy the whole of Africa.




I remember during the Star Wars program of the Reagan era, scientists were saying that it was practically imposossible to fire a projectile to intercept another projectile. The US eventually developed some missile defence weapons but their effectiveness was below 40 percent success despite working on them for decades and expending Trillions of dollars.

Israel developed and built the Iron Dome missile defence system with a success rate of betweeen 70 to 95 percent within 6 years. Now the US is jealous and wants to come on board the program.




Israel has developed a very effective Second Strike capability which means that even if their is a succesful nuclear attack against them and the whole population is wipes out, they still have the capability to wipe out the whole region several times over.




If you ask me Israel has much more reason to fear for its survival which could drive them to a point of desperation and they have the capability and willingness to do what they say. Iran is just full of words and half hearted amateurish actions.

No way they will both go, they will just sit back, relax and enjoy the war and exchange of weapons while they are waiting to grab the world power from the United states because the world will be drained of their financial resources, defensive resources as well after which both countries will take to the table to share the spoil.

Foreign Policy magazine reported a source 'close to the discussions' and said the strike might compose primarily of bombers and drone support.

The suggested attack is expected to last no more than a few days - or even just 'a couple of hours', the magazine said.

Such a strike could be carried out without civilian casualties, and would set back the Iranian nuclear program by back many years.

Benefits of such a strike would be regional, Foreign Policy says.

I've been reading ur posts and I jst couldn't resist the urge to respond to some of you pen wielding foolish rogues.

If some of u think that arab armies of 30-40 years can be compared to modern day armies u must be high on some potent weed that I would love to smoke one day.

Isreal has a more modern airforce and more advanced missile systems then Iran, that's the only advantage Isreal would have if they attact Iran. When it comes to naval forces Iran has the edge over Isreal.

If isreal ever desides to launch a ground offensive isreal will loose the war if they don't get support from U.S. Iran has the naval capability to close of the Strait Of Hormuz and they can also subotage pipeplines and waterways with mines. Iran is also capable of attacting U.S military bases in the region, some military experts even believe that iran can take out 1-2 fully fledged U.S aircraft carriers if they concentrate a coordinated attact.

What most of you don't know is that iran has very capable radar systems and anti aircraft weapons supplied by Russia.

To ad a another dimension to the situation is that there is a possibilty that Russia and China would support Iran especially China due to there economic ties to Tehran.

Iran has also shot down one of the U.S airforces most advanced UAV drones a few months ago and the U.S admitted that it was there drone, so the Iranian air deffences should not be undermind.

But to speak truth to power isreal will never take out any nuclear site if they don't get U.S air support + isreal still needs the support of Iranian neighbouring states to use there airspace and even this could have damaging effects on Irans neighbour states.

Talking about intelligence Iran and isreal have been involved in tit for tat assasinations. Iran has been responsible for a number of attacts in foreign countries like recently in Saudi Arabia, India and Bulgaria.

The U.S-isreali war machine would win a war against Iran but not without heavy casualties, Iran is not Iraq and the U.S knows this.
