I was out this afternoon, and I saw a man chasing a woman along banex Plaza Wuse, If you know Abuja, then this is a really busy area. Anyway the woman was really sprinting almost got hit by a car trying to cross the road, he got up with her and gave her a serious beating before we crossed and intervened, thats when we knew that it was his wife, seems she got him cheating or something and came to challenge him i his office, The idiot almost got lynched and he was there shouthing that he is a lawyer, I was shocked that in this age and time an educated man could be so beastily. |

He should have been seriously beaten up and sent to the cell to spend some time with his friends. He goat.  but the wife shouldn't have gone to his office, i mean family matters are private issues and should be sorted at home. |

@poster Ok! For me, I have heard THOUSANDS OF STORIES about wife beater the similar to your story everywhere in the magazines, newspapers, and TV news anywhere especially US/UK/other Americas/Africa/Asia. Professional as well as non-professional 'cheating' husbands are sometime cruel toward wives in the name of bad or silly or good confront in public places like office, family picnic/gathering, even media news they does not like to be embarrassed in front of the clients/family. That is how you get TV-for-movies/movie theaters the real life dramas out there the film/movie producers are taking advantage of creating new scripts/storyboardS to attract TV/Movie audiences watching in the name of PROFITS, PROFITS, PROFITS and RATING, RATING, RATING!!! |

If she actually caught him red handed and later went to confront him about this issues…knowing the kinda husband that she has, then she is a bigger fool than I thought. She needs to pack up her luggage and baggage and leave his cheating and trifling ass!! |

Before I comment, I really think Junior Agogo of Ghana looks more like a boxer than a footballer. back to the topic I think its really sad that any sane(not responsible please) man could beat up his wife  at all,let alone in public?Thanks for sharing,at least now I'm more prepared,in the unlikely event I come across such when I visit abuja . *now what have I just typed?* |

Can some1 tell me why pple do d wrong/right things at d wrong time/place? They make calls in moving planes, they discuss football in d space for d anti-wife-beaters, they challenge their HE-GOATic husbands @ offices, they drive in d middle of d roads, they turn wives in2 samuel peter's training bags, etc, etc, One of d safest way 2 avoid turning in2 a wife-beater urself is 2 STOP beating ur younger ones from now especially if they are no longer kids. Another way is 2 develop d ability 2 get along with DIFFICULT pple from now, that's if u r not yet married. Wife-beating is not only an abuja problem, it's everywhere! Sometimes if u consider some nasty things a woman can say and do, u may kill her. But maturity demands u put ur whole body under control no matter ur emotions cos if ur motions are directed by ur emotions u xperienz demotions & demolitions. Dont boast dat u can never beat ur wife unless u have built an unbreakable SELF-CONTROL. This is d trademark of CONTROLLERS of dis world. If u can control urself, there's nothing u cant control! |

yeah wateva! me thinks that if you can't handle confrontation without beating someone up, it only makes you a coward. i mean we all face crazy people that are all up in our faces everyday. but do we resort to beating them up? no, that's not how its done. some men are just taking advantage of the fact that women may be weaker and may not be able to fight back. go beat your own mates now, if they won't squash you! learn to control your anger abeg. those things between your legs doesn't make you a man. i'm tired of hearing all these excuses already. |
