All these pictures are meant to deceive people who havent been to lagos right? And how many of those buildings are actually government owned? How many of these pictures were taken in Ajegunle, Alimosho, Ojo, Okokomaiko, iyana Ipaja,Egbeda etc( where most lagosians live any way). lagos ia a former Federal capial city, if it does not have all these buildings thenthat will be very strange.

The truth is even in Victoria Island there are some roads that are in such a terrible situation, with pot holes and craters every where, i did not see any picture of these.........we can do better than this........ yes we definitely can.

Now, about the links...the first link was about pidgin English and you and i can agree that if they're going to show a picture that remotely depicts that, it should be a picture from the ghettos because that's where pidgin English is most spoke. You don't expect them to show a pic of the white collar buildings of broad street because people don't speak pidgin English in those builders. English is the main stay in those places.

As for the second picture, since they're talking about shopping, they had to represent that with where shopping takes place which is a market. I know you're expecting them to put up a picture of shoprite or the GAME. How can they put it up when majority of Nigeria don't shop in those places. Majority of Nigerians shop in those rundown markets like was represented in that second pic.

This is lagos island.The most developed part of lagos.more developed than the capital of lagos which is ikeja.lagos is a beautiful compared to most states in Nigeria.
But,fashola needs to spread his tentacles to other part of the state like Amuowu odofin lGA,Alimosho LGA,Igando ,Bariga,Ojo,okokomiko and all other parts of lagos.Then we can truly say lagos developed.

Lagos is not beautiful . Stop deceiving people. If majority of Lagos was beautiful, I would not complain, but d truth must be told, Lagos is not growing beautiful . Maybe local gov should be given more money to build better road network .

My brother don't mind these people, many of whom have never stepped out of Nigeria so think everywhere else on earth is paradise. I used to live in Washington DC a few years ago. Yes the US capital. If you venture near southeast Washington DC you will regret your life. Even to come out of the place alive you'll be thanking your lucky stars. But CNN only shows you the beautiful White House.

If you are sure that this is Lagos, my brother e makes sense die. The only thing again is to ban all this expired cars that's running there.
