All these pictures are meant to deceive people who havent been to lagos right? And how many of those buildings are actually government owned? How many of these pictures were taken in Ajegunle, Alimosho, Ojo, Okokomaiko, iyana Ipaja,Egbeda etc( where most lagosians live any way). lagos ia a former Federal capial city, if it does not have all these buildings thenthat will be very strange. The truth is even in Victoria Island there are some roads that are in such a terrible situation, with pot holes and craters every where, i did not see any picture of these.........we can do better than this........ yes we definitely can. |

Rossike God bless you! Haters of Lagos cant believe and accept what they can see. Even when they can see with their eyes... How will people that claim they reside in Lagos, be jealous of Lagos been beautiful. Na wa ooo ..... We are moving faster than any other state, is that our fault. Very soon, our train would soon start working, Eko Atlantic, Over 200 Boat for Sea transport from Australia. Lagos will never wait for federal government (We set the pace for nigeria). 1 Like |

afam4eva: SMH @AFAM... The first story was about "pidgin English radio station" - however, the pictorial depiction showed kids in mud huts with 20th century radios, and you think that's the right depiction for a "pidgin English radio station?" The second story was about "shopping in stores," however, the pictorial depiction was a dirty market in the middle of nowhere; and you think that's the right depiction, no? Afam, do you still sing the US national anthem every morning?? You're definitely suffering from post-traumatic colonial stress!! 3 Likes |

Beautiful interesting pics. This is lagos island. The most developed part of lagos.more developed than the capital of lagos which is ikeja.lagos is a beautiful compared to most states in Nigeria. But,fashola needs to spread his tentacles to other part of the state like Amuowu odofin lGA,Alimosho LGA,Igando ,Bariga,Ojo,okokomiko and all other parts of lagos. Then we can truly say lagos developed. For now, let's celebrate lagos island and not lagos state. |
I'm not arguing that there are no ghettos in parts of New York. My point is that all New York borough are livable. There may be some ghetto areas with hoodrats but they are livable. It's not like Lagos that Livability is restricted to the Island. How come 95% of beautiful pictures about Lagos are always Island pictures. I can authoritatively tell you that 90% of Lagos is a ghetto. Take that to the bank and i assure you that it won't bounce. I'm not trying to run down lagos as it's my city just as it is yours even though you've never been here before
Sorry to tell you but what you wrote above is quite wrong especially the part about 90% of Lagos is ghetto.... 1 Like |

Why can't you Nigerians appreciate Nigeria for once? That Fashola has tried to restore sanity even in small part of Lagos is commendable. My brother, most of the people on this site, claiming to be nigerians are not... they are well paid foriegn spy's, paid to come on nigerian social media/blogs and distroy every good information coming out of nigeria. I dont seem to understand how a nigerian would be full of so much hate that Lagos is growing (Would they have enjoyed that Lagos is in poverty).. You can even see some of them trying so hard and posting pictures of rural area's of the start....What exactly is their point. The are all SPY'S pretending to be nigerians. They are not nigerian, dem be oyinbo spy (Illuminati rats)...You need to check youtube to see all this oyinbo speaking pigin english and our traditional language.. 1 Like |

Yes the US capital. If you venture near southeast Washington DC you will regret your life. Even to come out of the place alive you'll be thanking your lucky stars.
