There is a tweak on cydia that will help in saving all your repos and tweaks and can be gotten back after upgrading and re-jailbreaking.

There is no way you can compress the iOS firmware. What problem do you have with it?? Why do u need it compressed??

You can't be downloading large file like that with your browse naw. Get Internet Download Manager.

The same jailbreak that works for 6.0 works for 6.0.1, but it's tethered. That is, you have to boot the phone with redsn0w on your PC whenever you are re-booting the phone...

Ios 6.0.1 works on all devices. I use an iphone 5 and an iPad 3, both are jailbroken untethered
