One big problem APC will encounter is that of who ll be their presidential flagbearer...even now dat PDP is already infiltrating into d new setup to fan its disintergration,I think d ACN better watch out and bring out modalities in making dis great party work

APC should be very careful about picking their candidates, the likes of Buhari,(who has a lot on his neck, ranging from been an extremist and may other crimes),Ngige(who is a self confessed election rigger and other fraudulent acts),Rochas(who is busy mortgaging the future of Imo sate and enriching himself)should not be considered for any post if they really want to fly as a party in 2015.

The South-South produces most of the national wealth but at the same time there is need for national balance and rotation and that is why i personally think that the North should have it for 8 years before it comes back South.Ibos will have their turn,then Yoruba before South-South again.Bear in mind that the North includes the Middle-Belt while the South-South includes Bendel/Calabar etc.Rotation goes on even within the various regions.There is nothing wrong with it as long as its in the spirit of fairness because Naija is not yet ripe for meritocracy or elections without federal character

Unfortunately, the north wants to use the platform to realise their ambition, which may never work. if the sole aim of this alliance is to displace PDP and give us good governance, an hausa candidacy may not achieve it like u rightly said. In as much as i don't have so much trust in the alliance, i may consider them if they field an ibo candidate as the flag-bearer with an hausa man as his running mate. Alternatively, give it to Fashola and look for a northern christian as his running mate. Anything out of these 2 options, they should forget about Aso rock in 2015.

If I may ask, why was Jesus presido and Mohammed vice. I don't want to believe that it is to show superiority. Anyway my take on APC presidential candidacy is that APC should not bring a candidate who has in anyway contributed in plunging Nigeria to where we are today. That automatically relegates Buhari, El Rufai, Ribadu to the back burner bringing revolutionary leaders like Fashola, Oshiomole, Akpabio, Okorocha to the fore. Believe me Nigerians are wiser now. They would rather prefer a weak and clueless Johnathan to those recycled thieves gallivanting all over the place.

A fundamentalist would not pick a christian pastor as his running mate in 2011.PDP cannot find anything to reduce Buhari's good name[ie corruption] so they keep fabricating lies and propaganda about his religious beliefs whereas he is actually a moderate and peace-loving person
