I don't think its a universal problem, anyone who wants to say this phone is not good or discourage people from buying it because of a SINGle complaint is delusional.

Egbami ooooooo......I successfully rooted my infinix joypad..after I downloaded link2sd.linked my apps to d partitioned xmemory card...the internal app memory reduced and later it increased by it self and I thought If I linked the system app to the memory ,the internal app memory will reduce..it did but not to what I expected...so I decided to wipe my rooted tablet..it wiped successfully but I didn't back up..then I went to the menu couldn't find message,phone ,gallary,filemanager and some useful app on ma phone anymore....plz some on help I REALLY LOVE DIS TABLET

Put off your wifi and bluetooth when not in use

Turn off data when not in use

Root your phone to enable battery enhancers access your cpu(I don't bliv in those defenders though)

I seem to be the only one having this screen lock problem. I have spent countless hours after work and driving in traffic to resolve it, I have gone to several android sites without success. Should I flash the phone? Good judgement recommends I return it on the basis of the warranty, but I need to try all possible options before doing that. Anyone has a similar experience or suggestion?ebdib, I imagine you are the best hand here

so no infinix user wants to post a screenshot from antutu benchmark @ebdib you nko? since you've rooted your own device, post yours so we know how well it performs so people get a sense of what they are buying we r not interested in the beauty of the car, we want to know the kind of engine housed inside is v6 v8 v12 tht kind of thing,all i keep reading is its cool this, its cool that..its battery is d bomb.. apps run smoothly....blah blah blah. i am tired n still waiting o.

Guy i did not say in any way that the phone had a problem ooo, i do not know whether you are their agent or something to that effect, however recently, specifically as at yesterday, my screen locked up and i am yet to be able to reopen it although calls come in nevertheless and you or anyone else is yet to offer a helping hand. Infact infinix responded to my enquiry by saying i should revert to factory settings, an this i will gladly do if the screen will open for a few minutes. I reckon they do not either understand or care, the same path you seem to be towing.

Calling people delusional because they are complaining of inability to utilize a product for the purpose for which it was acquired gives me ideas about your kinda person, but i hope i am wrong.

I was fiddling with the phone yesterday morning using my office WiFi and no sooner had i dropped the fone to pack my documents to the Board room for a meeting than the screen locked and said emergency dialer. I tried every trick and did all manners of hard resetting (battery removal) without luck. At some point i thought it was my network provider, so i engaged MTN and my guy in their customer unit gave me all manner of assistance, but it turned out it had nothing to do with MTN. I scoured several online suggestions and even the sites that suggested how to hack the droid could not help me. I will not mind dumping the fone, its just N26k, but for me, i have taken a liking to it and would want to see it work, any ideas?

While at it, what is the calcare address or lines of infinix in Lagos.

LOLZ guy that is called working smart. Your boss sees you typing away on the Ipad, in his head, this guy is taking serious notes. It puts you up as a very sharp guy, try it sometimes.

to do a reset, switch off the phone. on switching it on, hold the "volume up" button and the "home" button. it should boot into revovery mode. and you do your reset from there.
it should remove all factory installed apps on your device. this worked on tecno.
there is no guarantee that this will unlock your phone.
