Good day house, I must say that I appreciate everyone in the house your advise and openness has really helped several including my very self. About 6 days ago before getting this thread I had stocked 1,220 fingerlings which I bought from a fish farm but each day since I stocked the juvenile I always see scull & body of dead fishes in the pond infact currently I have lost count of the dead fish. In my curiosity I started bowing and i stumbled on this thread & read about the salt & bitter leaf therapy so i used both for my pond & fish treatment I also did some sorting because I noticed that some where seriously bigger than the rest & since yesterday i have seen some improvement. Thank you so much

Don't be scared of failing. You should just ensure you learnt something from that failure. Majority of people that succeed today had failed at one time or the other. Robonski failed woefully when he started but today he is happy. I am presently failing seriously in hatchery with five production & nothing to show for it, however, I am learning at every attempt & I know for sure that I ll share the testimony very soon. Only be encouraged. Failure just shows u didn't do it well at that attempt only. Good luck!

fish is sold in kg, and kg prices varies, some sell 1kg for 500, some for 600 depending on location and the buyer, what it means is that if a fish weigh 1kg, the buyer will pay the agreed amount per kg (450,500,600), if ten fishes weigh 12kg, u will be paid 6000naira if u are selling at 500naira per kg

I feel for your friend regarding his collapsed pond, I have had my own fair share of a collapsed pond. I had about 10k fingerlings I wanted to sell, the buyer concluded he will pick them up the next day, could you believe that night the pond collapsed and even fell the fence close to it, all the fingerlings was gone. When I saw what happened I sat down on the floor ( five minute madnessss) . All my money was washed away. Anytime I remember that incidence I just laugh it off..

Pillars should be mounted at the at both side of the pond to withstand the any form of collapse.
